Picture taken in March 2025. This may not look like anything special, but it was on these fields that I once saw a vixen with three fox kits strolling about.

Same view as in the photo, I was far enough away that they weren't bothered by me, so I could sit there and watch as they chased each other and tumbled through the grass. The mother fox waited whenever the small ones were a bit too far behind.

The fox kits were sandy beige, much lighter coloured than the mother fox. Sadly (as fate would have it) I had no phone or camera with me the day I saw them, so there are no pictures of that.

I should come back here at sunset, perhaps some day I'll see foxes there again. The small ones I saw probably have families of their own now. ^-^
