What you had to watch out for in the Wild West were not bandits and outlaws, it turned out. It was shysters and conmen. Emmet & Sully should know—they were two of them.

So, armed with that knowledge, why did Sully decide to give so much money to that smooth-talking goat and his frontier "church"? Emmet needed those funds for repairing the NECESSITY! It was the whole point of them going into "business" in the first place!

That ferret has a big heart to be sure. Too big for his or Emmet's own good. The wombat found himself forced to place his tail between his legs (figuratively) and visit the goat's religious establishment to see if there was a way to talk him into reversing the donation.

But what he found was that while he may sell snake oil, the preacher sold faith. Both demand fine elocution, but faith promises no money-back guarantee.
