Well, humanity does at least have the mighty MMACCs that are only truly beaten by the Shal'rein Mobile Ground Carriers. In fairness, the UHN Marines are actually really good and can (when properly equipped) easily outbeat the T'rintar (Yutilian) and Aksren soldiers in a fair match. The Yutilian and Aksren hovercraft are very fast, but would still have a rough time against old Earth tanks that could still outbeat them in a classic slugging match. The only catch, of course, is that the Shal'rein are really good at ground combat and have far better equipment in turn (Sharkies and tanks, deadly combination). Alara'jal? Phew, an armored T-Rex with a machine gun? I would run for the hills. :)
