Hippos are, after all, supposedly the most dangerous animal in africa

Hatari means 'danger', and he is, indeed, probably the most dangerous of my TLKFAA characters. He's beligerant, inteimidating, angry and aggressive. All the other animals fear him, and rightly so.
However, he is fiercely loyal to his friends, even Mamba, with whom he has an ongoing fued but they secretly wouldn't want to be without one another.

He's a large hippo with many scars from fighting. His eyes are blue and he has bloody bandages on all four of his legs. I've always liked that feature on characters, and since Shawn went through this 'bandagey' phase with one of his masks, it seemed appropriate to use it.
He has a bullet hole in his forehead from being shot at by people.
I guess I want to have a hippo character who isn't just a fat, jolly comic relief. Hippos are far from this in reality.
