oh god... i was usually too fucking nervous.... i remember one time i had ta go for blood work... and the technician totally fucked up and didn't speek a work of fucking English! she just went -jab! into the muscle- me: fuck! bitch that hurt! woman: ? no blood commin? you have poor blood flow! so long story short i had ta fast AGAIN for another 12 hours, and get all the same tests AND MORE done again! so needless to say... never went back there again... and now i never see em open during the day!

Heh. I miss gettin lollipops after shots. They don't do that here :( I got so many shots over the years, I now just roll up my sleeve, and say "Here ya go, let's get it done with."

A doctor did something like this to me when I was ten.

"Oh, I won't be giving you a shot!"
(breathes a sigh of relief)
"My nurse will!"
(starts hyperventilating)

and stupid too in some cases today my doctor gave me a hepatitis shot {ignore my crying :p} so i asked what hepatitis was she gave me a poor description of tetanus tetanus! for crying out loud it was a hepatitis shot! im 5 {17} and i know better then that {i made sure after with my mom the hepatitis wasn't anything similar} and i asked the nurse how the hearing test worked and she replys "i dunno" then they decided to do the pulse thingy over the shot {which i had to remind em to do cuz they had forgotten and i asked if it could on the other arm they said no after they did i i asked why and they said because it doesn't matter which!what the hell that fricken hurt doing it over the shot!{technically not the shot the spot the did bloodwork but same idea} god i hate that place and they didn't even have lollipops or stickers {and they shoulda since i still go to a pediatrician}

I was lucky...when I was a little 'un I had a doctor who would avoid giving me shots whenever possible.

Probably because I could scream loud enough to make people think I was being chewed on by dingos.
