Second of a series of iterations on this Malea drawing, where I'll show all of the major checkpoints or detail levels you could expect from a commission from me.

Here's an example of how a finished 'lineart' would look. I find lineart can sometimes cause a drawing to lose a bit of personality, or something... it's hard to explain. However, I'm able to draw with much more intent and precision, and tidy up a lot of minor errors. I don't usually post these as anytime I'm doing lineart, it's usually to be colored right after. So, if a drawing's to end at the lineart phase, I like to add some deep black shadows in a few spots to give it a bit of depth and style. A lineart from me also wouldn't have any tone or shades of grey anywhere, as that starts to get into coloring territory and it's honestly almost just as much work.
