Icon commission from

My first icon for Megan and one which, I think, shows exactly why a rabbit is the perfect species for me. I have a bad habit of chewing on things, and especially on my pen or pen-top while I'm trying to write. This is why I like the cheap, plastic Pilot pens over anything a bit fancier.
If anyone is looking for a new icon, I'd highly recommend checking this artist out! She's very polite and professional, and she sent me multiple previews, from the sketch to the shaded version before the background was added in. Her prices are very reasonable, too!

Aw, well thank you! Though I would argue that nobody could ever beat Leana for sheer cuteness in an icon. I really do like her expression, too. The "What are you lookin' at?" feel to it is just kind of adorable. I hated to stop using my last one, but I think makes for a wonderful replacement.
Yeah, I'm going to miss that one, too. Though of course I still have it, and I might use it again because I do love it. But I'm quite happy with this one, and I think it does work really well at the icon size, too.
She actually gave me four different icon-sized versions to pick from! Which was really cool of her. She put more work into this icon than some people have into large, full body portraits!

Don't all writers chew on pens? Even when I'm typing, I find myself chewing on a pen (or pencil) from time to time. I really, really like this icon, too: it looks lovely, the colouring is great, the little touches (such as the "notebook page" effect) add an extra dimension and it just fits you so well. I loved (and still do) the flower-chomping icon, but this is just as good. I'll bear the artist's name in mind, definitely!
You may be right there. I wouldn't be at all surprised if pen chewing was common among writers. *Grins* Or at least writers who moonlight as rabbits. I'm very fond of this icon, too. The coloring really is very well done, and the artist really went out of her way to get everything right and done to suit me. I still love the flower icon, too, and as I said to Eliki I might still use it again in the future. Niamh's still very important to me, which goes without saying I'm sure, and it's just too cute to gather dust.
