This time, I organized the art trade for spring break! I got 10 friends together for a two round event, and everyone finished!
The prompt of round 1/2 of the SoAp Spring Art Trade was to portray an assigned character post-apocalypse.
I got to draw Dylan the Brown Thrasher (bird), carrying a makeshift spear and surviving in what ended up being one of my most ambitious environments to date.
I tried a lot of new things, and in the end I got a lineless perspective background of both natural and artificial origin, with plants regrowing in the ruins of a city leveled by nuclear war long ago. Now it is autumn, and colorful leaves blow past blast-shadows of those who knew the city as it was.
