In response to the prompt "Capture"...this is a process I've thought about capturing for a while, for some have expressed interest. What's it like to be petrified?

I tried to fit it to the 365 word format...maybe I'll expand this later and fit it into a longer story.

No...I pretty much never look at the forums here, but because of your comment, I went to go see.

This isn't the first time I've written in second person, there are a few other examples where I experimented with it.

Ahh! There was a thread on second-person, with most responses being either "Why?" or "It's hard". And I know some folks like to jump at challenges like that. :)

It worked quite well, and I don't think this scene would have the same effect in first or third person.

That came out surprisingly well. The way you play with the words, specifically in the last several paragraphs, really allowed the imagery to perform naturally. But, why is he capturing him?
