Here's my Skyrim-child Fahdonmul once again, this time all decked out in a black rubber catsuit. Since it covers his wings and he has no hands, you may be wondering how he puts it on.
I suspect it works the same way as Bound Armour in Morrowind and Oblivion - a temporary armour spell that covers the caster, just one that makes him look like a whore.
Dragons like collecting shiny stuff so this should not be surprising.
Also, he killed Alduin so anyone questioning his fashion choices is likely to end up the same way.
