I don't really know much about the show since I don't watch TV that much and there was a My Little Pony party across the hall from my room at the Weston but I found these two fursuiters in the lobby of the hotel.

I still don't get why its popular heh. I guess its the animation style or the pop culture references, but I asked a few people about it and the answers varied.

The one on the left is Rainbow Dash worn by

sophiecabra and the one on the right is Applejack worn by

raspberryroo. They also made both suits. I personally didn't know who was in them until after the parade.

hmm i guess their just like any other "cute" character.. like hello kitty? just.. ponys. I personally dont care for MLP at all. i used to like it when i was younger but since ive been seeing it all over this site im quite sick of the whole thing.

If you can find fur to match AJ's real color I'll be happy to buy it off ya! We searched all over and couldn't find anything that was her exact color. This was the best we could do :)

The fursuits look absolutely wonderful! I just wanted to mention that if I were building Applejack, I would have personally used beige or even camel instead of orange, and used yellow fur for the mane and tail. It would still not be exact, but I personally think it would be closer to the character's color in the TV show. But it's only my opinion, so feel free to ignore me since the current Applejack suit is badass anyways!

I think it's popular because at one time some men were probably "Lol girly show, let's watch it and then post memes about it on 4chan" only that it's a somewhat decent show and that other people started watching it for the same thing and then..well... it just became a thing.

Of course men can't accept they are watching a girl's show and call themselves Ponies so they came up with Bronies because Ponies is too awesome for them.

I don't get it either.

Pros: Excellent craftsmanship on both suits.

Cons: Ponies do not look like good fursuit subjects for one simple reason- Hands...

The show is popular because, unlike previous versions of "My Little Pony", this version is about finding new and different ways to drive ponies crazy!
