Day 163 - March 16th, 2741

Yep, saw that coming. Rose finally wanted to talk a bit more about my past. Sly bastard started with some seemingly innocent questions to test the waters.

First up was my old outfit, Rose mentioned how similar my shirt was to those worn by a group of rival bandits out west, led by a fair-skinned lizard woman. He asked if I encountered any of them.

The next questions were about my sister. What she looked like, and if she was still with STEEL.

Further, he pressed. Now asking why I would risk coming here given the strong STEEL presence currently at the Foundry.

I answered these questions as honestly as I could without giving away the too much. But still, he pressed on, then asking the question I was waiting for.

He commented on my reaction to seeing the strange factory underground a few days back. Saying it seems like I've already got some familiarity with these oddities. I responded, saying I came across something similar in my travels, never understood what it was. He laughed, saying he didn't know either, only that a secretive cult prowls those places and to always be on the lookout.

He then looked me dead in the eyes and mentioned how odd my eyes were and how similar the green was to the one the cult is associated with.

Instead of answering, I asked what he was insinuating. He laughed again. Turning to walk away, he said, 'Maybe I'm just a bit too paranoid, my bad!" Bullshit, he knew full well what he was doing.

But I couldn't mull on that for too long. Moments after Rose walked away, I spotted Twitch rummaging through my stuff before grabbing my unloaded shotgun and running around, laughing maniacally. Wrench helped me get it back, but I had to tackle her.

Shoulder is pretty sore now after that. Twitch noticed my pain and looked regretful. Kinda caught me off-guard coming from her, but welcome.
