Been waiting very patiently to see this go up on FA XD! We were very excited and happy with this~ I hope everyone likes it.
It's a rendition of the theme from the film "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence".
I haven't really shown my voice like this until now, but this song really needed to be sung this way.

Thank you :D I am glad you think it suits the song. I think it turned out really well, I only got to hear the final version when he completed it as I sung over just some piano backing he put together for me quickly so it was a bit surprise and he fitted it together so nicely. He's very good!

That was absolutely beautiful!!! I absolutely loved how you did this. You always have a way of putting every bit of your emotions into the song and we can tell (as you can see with the flood of comments).

And thanks for saynig what you did about my singing. Sometimes I worry the emotion gets lost because I try too hard to get the vocals so "perfect" in a technical sense. I am trying to relax a bit more. I might get there eventually.

The harmonies were the same volume as the main melody (there are actually two harmonies, one of them was lost completely, maybe he didn't want it in there in the end) when I recorded them for Fox. He must have decided they should be quieter. I had no control over that. I don't mind either way, just I leave all the finalizing stuff with him and he puts it all together as he sees fit :3

Yea, I expected as much. It's deemed a more professional way of mixing to have a single melodic line stand out. I think just since I'm a choir/vocalist kid, I prefer hearing the vocal harmonies than a lot of other things. To me, unique harmonies are one of those things that differentiate pieces for me; hearing non-pitch corrected harmonies is just an amazing thing when things are in tune. :D

Thank you very much :D I seem to have climbed higher and higher with my comfortable keys... it's odd. Used to sing a bit lower down and now I can't XD Oh well. Sometimes it feels like I am restricting myself but maybe I am just not so confident lower down. I have a worry that it isn't feminine when I sing lower but people have said it's fine.

Well since you worked your way up to those high notes I'd say that you could sing lower probably just as well as your high notes. I'm a low alto so I can't even try to reach where you're singing lol. And I totally get what you mean by worrying about it being feminine. I don't think you have to worry about that unless you start singing baratone or bass lol.
I get a bit too shy about performing in front of anyone x_x;; I used to get stage fright a lot as a kid when forced to do stuff in school. I have thought about uploading vids of myself performing my singing/guitar covers, I may still do one day. I have actually recorded a couple but never shown anyone XD I have also considered just streaming myself working on music, but I don't have much confidence really.
The feeling of this is unique, like Asian and Celtic beautifully merged into one! I love this so much, this is something I expect to hear on a big time CD! Why don't you have a CD? WHY AREN'T YOU FAMOUS? Very heavenly voice and wonderful combination with the music. ^_^
Fox makes amazingly gorgeous music whenever he does anything ;o; he seems to have a good ear and a good understanding of what something ought to sound like, but adding his own twists at the same time. It's a great feeling getting to sing with his music, I get so excited over it XD! I don't have a CD (yet D:) because I have never thoguht I could be good enough, but Fox has suggested we could probably work on some things together at some point so maybe in the future :D!

How do you feel about that? I don't want to take over the whole thing but she is in a field of flowers which I made brushes for. I just need to show you a sketch X3
