It really is, I could somewhat say I grew up with it, semi through middle-early high-school (Like 2017-2019 basically), it definitely defines a big portion of where I am today, and initially even got me into making an oc. (and a leading reason to being a furry I guess)
That's nice! And I gotta say, since the books seem to go in pairs of 5, each of those feels like it's own whole story, so I wouldn't be surprised about seeing the different main casts, and such.
I am also SEVERALLY missing out on the graphic novels, I grew up with only the actual novels, so it was way more up for interpretation on things.

That's awesome! I think it's wonderful that a series like this has been a big inspiration for you to join this community.
Funny enough, I happen to grab one of the graphic novels ( book 2 ) in a second hand bookstore by pure opportunity and I've used it as one of my references when creating this piece. I personally prefer the character designs in the original novels, but other than that, I think it's quite faithful and another great way to get into the series!
