This Reunion Event takes place in a variant not showing any signs of a Chaotic Incursion. However Vigilance is always necessary. We have witnessed evidence that NO Reality is safe, not even that which seems the most wholesome.
Cloaked camera Footage Established...
The Mobian countryside was surprisingly vibrant today. Tails honestly couldn't have picked a better time to have come home and it showed. The fields were bright and colorful with various crops and the breeze kept him cool despite his clothing. His steps were the only sound he could hear besides the creak of a tree or the whoosh of grass.
A hill rose to his left as he closed in on his destination. He lugged his haversack over his shoulder as he walked, a barn came into view and he smiled. It was nice to see new families and people having moved so far out from Mobotropolis. Tails turned to continue down the rode when a thud caught his attention in the barn. He turned to look and see, but the angle was bad. He rolled his eyes and began his approach. Feminine grumbling could be heard inside the straw filled barn, but it was an unfamiliar voice.
Tails approached, seeing the brown haired rabbit shaking her head with her hands on her hips, looking over a bunch of scattered farming supplies. "I had it going well, then one wrong move." She grumbled again before looking up from a pile of boxes that seemed to have toppled over somehow. "Oh! Hey there, I didn't hear you come in." The little tuft of brown hair waved as she herself did, this woman was familiar in some way, but Tails couldn't place where just yet. "Hi, sorry I didn't mean to intrude, I just heard you having a hard time and thought that maybe I could lend a hand."
The rabbit sighed, frowning whilst looking down at the boxes. "Yeah, I thought I could get them up the ladder all at once, but three steps," She flew here hand down, with whistle and a crashing sound. "Disaster."
Tails actual let loose a little laugh at the woman's cheerful reaction to her slip up. "You're funny, but seriously, do you need a hand, I can lift a bit myself." He gave a little flex, despite mobians not really having biceps to flex but his arms were definitely thicker noodles than they had been when he was younger. The rabbit grinned, blushing slightly at this fox's gentlemanly offer. "Well, that would certainly be very helpful of you." The fox smiled slightly now, stepping up to the boxes and taking a stab at it. "Oof, well now you're just showing off. These are heavy." He heaved one up and then followed the rabbit's direction up the ladder to the spot in the loft. He turned to step down, only to see the girl holding a box over her head halfway up the ladder. Tails smirked, she had never been one to let him do all the work. He blinked in confusion, did he know this lop?
After the last box was set down, Tails floated down by his tails only to see the bunny was nowhere to be seen. He turned to and fro in confusion. "Hello?"
"I'll be right down, I left my water up here." Tails looked up from his midair position and froze, the rabbit hovered in place, flapping her ears like wings and staring in stunned disbelief as they both reached similar conclusions.
"CREAM?!"
"TAILS?!"
The shock of the moment froze them in place, dropping them to the hay covered floor immediately. The two didn't take long to recover at all, locking eyes almost instantly as soon as they had the wherewithal to do so. Seconds ticked by as the two stood up slowly, barely dusting themselves off. Disbelieving stares turned into slowly growing smiles, tears gathering in the eyes, before the dam broke. With exclamations of joy they both lunged forward and embraced, the childhood friends held each other tightly while laughing and crying a little.
Moments of jubilation turned into minutes, and Tails, being the pragmatic one, patted Cream's back. She took the hint, though she held on just a little longer and was hesitant to let him go. She had to wipe her happy tears away and lock eyes with Tails, "It's been a long time Tails."
Tails smirked, "I mean, yeah, it has. Sonic needed help, and I got into a few scrapes myself. Honestly… I was lucky he told me to go home when he did. He should be home here soon as well. If he didn’t beat me here."
Cream held a hand to her mouth with a gentle giggle. “For all I know he has and neither of us know. I’ve been helping the settlers so much these last few years I’ve barely been home to see mother. Though I’m sure I will have no excuse now that you are back in town.” She gave a cheerful giggle, she still retained some of that youthful cuteness she had when she was young.
Tails smirked, “Well I guess we can stop by together, there’s no harm in it.”
Cream’s eyes half closed and she leaned closer with a bit of unfamiliar smugness, “Together?”
Tails blushed, but caught on quick, “Heh, I see Rouge passed on a trick or two.”
Cream leaned back and laughed again, “Nothing gets past you does it?”
The fox reached over and held her hand, “Mh-mmh” Now it was Creams turn to blush, but her bright smile returned with only a moment of hesitation.
The two walked out of the barn and made it down the hill when Cream paused, Tails stopping too, “Didn’t we have bags?” They both looked at each other blinking, before they burst into laughter again. Seems like these two had to stay focused or they’d get lost in each other.

Well that was certainly longer than I wanted to remain offline, but my new job is killer. I am going to try and get some regular posts going but at this point it’s all up in the air.
