Del Marina, the evil saltwater fishman.

I felt like he needed a closeup. I actually did draw in individual scales, but its hard to see them, they look like a generic texture. ah well. his scales are silver, and pick up the light or lack of light, so depending where he is he looks brigter or darker, more or less colorful. His eyes are a bright yellow, that shine, and the there are actually three slitted pupils that form and upsidedown triangle. The eyes are on the side of his head, in true fishy fashion. He has three fingers and a thumb, with webbing inbetween. Very sharp, irregular sized teeth. And a tiny hint of an ear on the side of his head, mostly when he's on the surface (he can breathe on the surface, as long as he stays near a watersource). he also has three gills on each side, but you can't see them because the're in shadow, for underwater breathing.

he's no particual species of fish, maybe like a sharkacuda (shark/baracuda), but more likely an ichthyosauruss-morph. given he's as old as one, and his larger were-form is looks like one. there are no other fish people in the world he comes from, he was always the only one.

I also made that swirly background, by the way. everything is computer/mouse drawn in paint shop pro 7. and took me only 3 hours (very short for me!)

also, he is NOT a furry. anthro, sure. but not furry. he is not cute. he has no fur. he is not a mammal or marsupial. he is a fish.
