I love this variation!
As with any supernatural creature, it's important to know a mall gorgon's weaknesses (luring them into a dressing room with a mirror; helping them gorge themselves into a stupor in the food court; or alerting them to a sale at the shoe store. Strangely, this works on gorgons with and without legs).
