A nicer picture of my tattoos together! I got the circlet on my upper right arm and three stars on my left hand. My belated birthday present to meee, happy 21st AJ!
The circlet is a tattoo I've wanted since I first started drawing online, when I was about 12 years old. I always told myself I wouldn't get the tattoo if I ever changed the design because I might not like it when I'm older. Well it's been about 9 years now, I'm older. I think it's time to finally make it into a reality! So in a way I think this tattoo is my personal representation of "creativity" since I always choose to feature it on my right arm, my art arm. It's the label and flow of my creativity.
Now for the second newer one, the three stars on my hand. This is something mostly for myself to look upon. This one to me represents positivity, hope, that there is always tomorrow. How whenever things are down I always look up to the stars, how I would wish to them, beg them for help in times of need, or even put silly hopes and dreams on them. Like a far off goal, I could always seem them even if I couldn't reach them. Well this way whenever I'm feeling down or alone, wishing for more. I'll know I'm always carrying a star with me where ever I go. I always had a habit of kissing my hand when I made a wish, so it only made sense to put the stars on the hand that I kiss. C: Now I'll always have a wish in hand.
Mmmkay, I'll stop talking lame now. Just wanted to show off my first tattoos! x3

Actually, and now I realize these were done a while ago, but I was given a new method for healing tattoos that's actually worked really well for my friends' and I's tattoos! Yanno, in case you planned to get more?
Mine was fully healed in three days and my friend who had her whole upper arm done healed in about four! Flat, smooth, healthy and it sealed the colours
If you run it under water as hot as you can handle for a few seconds and pat it dry the idea is that it rushes white blood cells to the skin and greatly accelerates the healing process. But of course it requires a bit of common sense to not burn yourself since a scalding bun and get very serious, very quickly.
I haven't seen a lot of other people doing it, and we might have just gotten really lucky, but I figured I could at least share so you could look into it if it interested you.:3

I didn't realize hands were no-no spots since I went to a couple places and was told no they won't do that. I thought it was so weird since so many people have sleeves or extreme face tattoos. xD
I went to the Jolly Rogers Tattoos & Piercing, 623 Providence Way, Clarksville IN from the artist Amber. She warned me that they're harder to heal and they fade very quickly but I told her that was fine for me and she simply said "ok let's do it!" She very informative and nice, specially since it was my first time getting ink.

I have entertained the idea of getting a tattoo on the 'ring of solomon' spot on my palm, but I know that lots of places don't like doing hand tats for several reasons. I think the fact that it fades so quickly is the determining factor for me.
Still, your new ink looks great!
