Soon enough, the calm chuckles and gentle giggles of the Stallion and Hyena gave way to the gurgling of drains and squeaking of valves and the cool caress of water finally seeped out of the opened vents to begin filling the compartment around them. Even at a moderate pace of a couple feet every minute or so, a speed maintained by additional vents opening as the water rose to broader sections at shallower depths, there wasn't any alarm between the two. If anything, there would be a bit of excitement for the pair to see just how soon they had an indoor abyss aquaphilies like themselves could use as they liked!
Seeking to pass the time even as the pair were forced to tread water to stay afloat, the pair sneak themselves over to an overhang that had formed an unintentional alcove. It wouldn't be long until the pair would be forced to exit as the drains above opened to free any trapped air in this little pocket, but while they had a chance to mimic a "Flooding Compartment", Lynn beckoned the Pegasus for one more quick photo just as the ceiling begin to be within arm's reach.
It took a little bit of effort to keep steady, provoking the odd gurgled giggle from the sunken muzzle of the Hyena, but soon the pair were rewarded with this pristine photo just in time for the drains to open and the remaining air to either be held in their lungs, or flowing out of the flooded section.
