Currently, Xander no longer uses his Protogen mask because summer makes him sweat a lot. Therefore, Xander is indeed a Protogen, but more of a cyborg, since he still retains the organic beings' ability to accumulate fat. Aside from the change in his mask, he's gained some muscle; well, all that training and winning battles must have helped...By the way, it's a fox, of course the bright eyes reveal that it's not a totally organic one.
