Counseling

"I'm not a particularly religious man, but even I can see the arrival of father Frederick as a divine gift, I was already losing control of the group morale in this fortress, the interloper attacks were not just harming our bodies but also our minds, fear and constant nightmares were draining our sanity, despair was palpable and chaos was on the brink of ensuing...then this man arrives in our fortress with a small caravan of refugees, and everything changed...
Father Frederick brought with him the word of the gods and comfort to the frightened, people rallied to hear his preach and what was once a ragtag group of refuges is now a hardened group of survivors, his words gave a glimmer of hope in this apocalyptic situation and I cant thank him enough for that.
This priest is not just satisfied with comforting the scared, he also has other talents, when not in the chapel preaching and counseling he is on the workshop making arrows and bolts for our bows and crosbows, he surprisingly was able to befriend Danadriel our blacksmith, at this point the only person in this fortress that dont like him is Aghata our mage...mostly because she is a hard individual to work with and she has her onw grudge against religious figures so I cant do much about that.
But what intrigues me more about father Frederick is his skills in combat, he fights ferociously against the interlopers...a little too ferociously for a old man of the faith...he is also very knowleged in infantry tatics and formations...I have the feeling this man was not always a priest..." Damn, I love goedendags. They are absolute practicality and economy. I wish they were more appreciated and renowned.
