Drawn February and March 2025. Mason Kirk (left, he/him) and Gale Fields (right, he/him) are faithful agents of the Cyberspace Bureau, helping protect their part of the Mutagian World from fascist threats. Here we see these two men in the desert ready to hone their martial arts and stay in shape in the physical world as well as the digital. Both of these men can be seen in the ending of Cyber Purge should you fulfill your mission and defeat Darkscythe!
This started as a solo image of Mason that was meant to be my third FebROOary piece (after the Cynthia and ZOZ pieces), but it ended up being delayed due to life matters. Once I got back on track and nailed Mason's design and background, I drew Gale with the same background and stuck them both together. The result was a Quad HD (2560×1440px) image, and thus suitable for use as a desktop computer's wallpaper on 16:9 monitors, entirely by accident!
Mason originated from an early experiment in textmode art from 2020, and Gale's design here derives from a 2023 drawing I did of a similar, then-generic character.
