Day 157 - March 10th, 2741

Things are looking quiet outside, Rose is out keeping an eye on them. Making sure they are gone, and haven't poked any new access holes nearby. But he has openly expressed concerns that these sweeps are only going to increase in frequency.

Twitch is still tinkering away with her contraptions, but this time leaving Gunner alone, mostly... Brick asked Wrench to prioritize repairing a damaged cargo drone they had. We might be making another supply run in the future and will need the additional capacity. So Wrench got to work. I offered to help, and off we went.

Wrench did most of the work, though. Still can't do much with my left arm, but I can move around, so I helped in making sure she had the right tools and components. Most of the day was spent trying to get the motor back online, and late into the evening, I can say that we were successful. From what I understand, Some sensors pinged kept the system in a failsafe mode. Wrench replaced some fuses, swapped out some battery packs, and had to recalibrate the central computer to restrict the motor from going beyond 70% power output. It does mean the drone isn't as fast or have a full carry capacity, but it does work.

But she isn't flying it around just yet. She had to make sure the propulsion system was salvageable before we could work on the physical aspects of it.

So now we know it's alive. Tomorrow, we start on getting this thing airborne. Coolant system will need a rebuild, and one of its rotors a full replacement. I'm sure there will be other things we find, but at least we know it's not a fool's errand.
