She spends her nights drifting through the ocean’s quiet embrace, collecting fallen stars that sink into the depths. Some she tucks into the folds of her dress, keeping them close like tiny treasures. Others, she lifts gently back toward the surface, letting them float away so they can continue their journey across the sky. Tonight, she holds one in her hands, its soft glow reflecting in her golden eyes. Will she keep it, or will she let it go?
