When you get down to it neither Emmet nor his assistant are really... well they're not winning any beauty contests.

This I approve of and encourage. "Attractiveness" gets boring after a while, whereas expressiveness is always interesting. Though, it can be harder to "read" Emmet than Sully, who never shies away from letting you know what he thinks.
