So this was the thing that confused Kugi and Ethan is that their children can shift from wolf form to their human-like form (think "Wolf Children" movie, btw great movie)
Ethan and Kugi worked with some fey magic mages to understand this, and their children are a new form of Lycanthropy.
Their kids can't turn others, but now it's more permanent and no cure, and if they have kids, their grandkids will be like them as well. Ethan was okay with this, but shocked because he had malfunctioned Lycanthropy and his wife was a fey being that adapted to the mortal world.

SO as mentioned before in past postings, their kids can shift back and forth from wolf to a human with just wolf ears and tail. Also, Kugi has been restless wanting to have more kids with him since their children will be special until other Lycan-born fall in love with a Kitsune.
