kaz came to me with her characters, Asterion (ha) and Veilia, with the idea of the two showing affection. I struggled with this for a time, perhaps because it felt so very close to me, for what may or may not be obvious reasons. I don't particularly like mushy stuff, but the idea of having someone you can lean on, someone to hold your hand and maybe give it a comforting squeeze, there's a lot to be said for it. It wasn't that long ago that I didn't understand that sort of thing, but I do now. I feel like I've grown up, just a little.
