That's a good idea there. I should do some sketches from fashion magazines too. Get some use from the piles of them my sister drags home. And maybe I could learn some anatomy in the process. I could really use that...

I've noticed that watercolor doesn't really scan nicely also...it always has a polished sort of look to it when I attempt to scan it, and all the subtle and light shades get blown out even more than they normally would in other media.

Regardless, your watercolor is gorgeous, as it usually is. Your lighting is always so brave but realistic, and this is a particularly gorgeous collie girl! One of my favorite breeds, and I adore the clothes you chose for her.

Firstly, I like how you noted their actual fluff, and applied that to her own coat, drawing attention to it through the "cuff-puffs". Second, I also like how there is a blended but distinct quality to this picture...and please don't take this the wrong way, but the foreground and her shadow, it adds a lot to the picture.
