It seemed Mewtwo's life was never calm. Despite trying to lead a peaceful life as protector to Pokemon, there was always some organization or some group after him. This was no different. It seemed that while away from his island sanctuary, Mewtwo managed to catch the attention of Team Rocket. Of course, they were nothing compared to him, though their numbers proved to be quite the fight! Of course, he was able to dispatch them easily. All except for one Pokemon, whom he didn't notice. In fact, he didn't see who it was at all. Normally such things would never get the better of him, but even he had his moments of weakness. All he saw was the brief glimpse of a large Shadow Ball flying straight at him, hitting square in the chest! He tumbled over in the sky, feeling his resistance to such moves diminishing, before falling to the ground. Fortunately, he crashed far away from Team Rocket. Unfortunately, however, he had landed in a soft patch of sand on a remote beach. The impact swallowed him into the ground, save for his large pink feet, which stuck out from the ground. Weakened, he tried to focus and free himself, but with his defense lowered and his HP resting towards the low end, he couldn't muster the strength. He grunted, getting frustrated, and tried to wiggle free. No luck. His feet paddled up and down, his toes curling and splaying, as he tried to grasp for something, unable to see anything. Of course, he wasn't in any true discomfort. The sand was soft, and he was in no danger. However, being stuck was still rather annoying. He grunted and squirmed, wondering how this day could get any worse....

So, I wanted to draw this goofy thing. The story is more of an excuse for how such a powerful pokemon could get stuck, and also don't question it because I'm the artist and I say he's stuck so there! Anyway, I still hope you like it! Hopefully he can get himself out soon! This must be a bit embarrassing for the strongest pokemon.
