They are heavily based on the concept of "leave nothing to waste" and this was mainly used for the dead. Every little bit is used, example: meat for meat, skin for leather, bones for tools, decorations, structures, art, ect
(Their word for mortician also means chef)

For them to ultimate shame is not being used after death so for all of the traitors & criminals. Their body's get put into a mausoleum, unable to be used after death. But they aren't forgotten via EVERYONE'S skull having their name & date of death engraved into it

In the area where the tribes leaders & rulers are housed is a massive throne made of precious rulers skulls
(All the previous leaders souls are housed in a special gem located at the center of the tribe leaders staff)

For when a battle is fought two things can happen:
- OSIAI win:
The enemies body's are taken and given respect by telling all the other tribes of the ones who fought them. Their body's are turned into tools & macabre artwork/sculptures before being given to the opposing tribe
- OSIAI loose:
They will try and ask for the dead back and if not given them, retaliation. But if the other tribe makes a mockery of their practices...

The entire tribe views forgetting a person as a shameful burden, but actively erasing them is the ultimate heresy


My oc Mildread the is apart of a extremely important bloodline for their culture. Their a lineage of "Ossiuseer" who Catalog the dead and act as a guardian of them (or as a living weapon do to there abnormally huge size

Mildread in particular do to her enormous size has been nicknamed the "mother of graves" do to all the bones she wears around her body. And her necromancer style magic
