Platform Saturday starts today! And it's All Platformer games.
Platform games are Very general, so the intro was difficult to design as it is without referencing particular games, like red girders for DK, bricks for Mario, or crates for Crash, so I went the cartoony route since that's what most platformers have that ties them together. Otherwise it's, what? Parkour?
Anyway, for the thumbnail I wanted to attempt drawing Pangys in a Banjo style since it's well known for the googly eyes on everything, so I broke my design once, ditching the dot eyes. Otherwise, I dropped some of the fur colours as well, opting for a single colour, plus a thin and pointy nose and ears so I can make him look Much more like a Jinjo.
Otherwise, I figured the setting should be platforming related, so there he is hanging on for dear life on Grunty's castle's nose by the iconic backpack Banjo always carries.
I like how this came out in the end.
I plan to continue making weekly content, adding new daily content week by week.
