Months later…
September 3rd, 1524
It’s been many months, and Aqua is now 19 years old (since her birthday is March 20th.)
On February 19th, Aqua’s learned about the titans who were soon to be released, but she doesn’t know who. So she has to wait until the time has come. And then she also learned that Shirahoshi is the current incarnation of Poseidon and has the power to communicate to the Sea Kings and commands them.

But right now, on a sunny morning, Aqua enjoys swimming around, but she’s racing the fastest sailfishes. In fact, this is another speed training, and now they’re swimming across the vast landscape of coral reef, seagrass meadow and the rock valleys, and now they’re heading to Atlantis.
Eventfully, after passing through the finishing line, Aqua won the training race, and proved that she can swim faster than a sailfish.
One of the sailfishes congrats Aqua and shakes his fins with the princess’ hand.
“Phew, that was a good exercise, princess. You’re really faster than us.” Sailfish No.1 said.
“Thanks. I guess the training race was really good exercise. You’re all great teachers.” Aqua said.
“Oh, don’t make us blush, ma’am. We’re doing this for your training sessions. Just in case you're going out to explore alone.” Sailfish No.2 said.
“Yeah, but I need to inform my father first. Well, gotta swim. Bye for now.” Aqua said as she swam off to the castle.

At the gates of the Atlantis Castle, Raki’s swimming slowly around looking for King Ryujin.
“Your Majesty! Your Majesty! King Ryujin!” Raki called. “Where are you, sir?”
At that moment Aqua has arrived and pace towards the king’s majordomo.
“Ah, Princess Aqua. Welcome back. How’s your speed training session?” Raki asked.
“It was fun and felt great. I feel like I can swim faster than the speed of sound.” Aqua said as she looked at her curvy shape. “And it feels like my body is getting used to my new speed.”
“Yeah, and maybe you could use your big chest as airbags when you crashed. “Raki joked as Aqua looked unamused.
“It’s not funny.” Aqua muttered irritatedly, then simmered down and asked. “Anyway, are you looking for my Father? Something happened?”
“Aqua!” A voice from far behind Raki was Coral, who is also 19 years old, who swam towards Aqua. “I couldn’t find your father! He’s gone!”
“Gone? Have you looked for him in the castle, Coral?” Aqua asked.
“No, he’s not even in his bedroom.” Coral replied, worriedly.
“Oh, for the love of Sea Gods…” Raki sighed, then looked at the city. “I can’t believe the King of Atlantis could be so happy-go-lucky. As the King’s advisor, I told him not to leave the castle without informing me first.”
“I wonder where he’s going.” Aqua wondered, then he heard a gate opened, and Athena approached her daughter. “Hello, Mother.”
“Oh, Queen Athena.” Raki saluted, as Coral was doing the same.
“Everyone, I’m sorry to keep my husband’s investigation a secret. But he told me that he can’t do this alone. So he brought his soldiers with him in disguise as citizens.” Athena apologized.
“An investigation? I didn’t hear anything about this. Do you know where he’s headed?” Aqua asked.
“Somewhere in the market. His investigation is to find the gang of pirates called the Tiger Shark Pirates.” Athena replied.
“The Tiger Shark Pirates?” Aqua asked.

Meanwhile at the market, where merpeople and Fish-Men from other islands are buying a lot of stuff like food, pillows, silks, jewelry, books and other stuff.
“Looking for vegetables? I’ve got loads, all fresh and delicious!” A happy merman called.
“Come and check out my silk fabrics!” The leopard shark Fish-Man called.
Nearby, a vendor is selling street food, which are called Atlantean Dogs, the sausages with red sauce.
This vendor is an orca Sea Mink.
The Sea Minks are a hybrid species between the Minks and Fish-Men. They are humanoids with aquatic mammals, and they are always welcome by King Ryujin. And they are also friends with the Atlantean humans too.
“Step right up!” A vendor called. “I’ve got Atlantean Dogs, the specialty of the Kingdom of Atlantis!”
In the corner, King Ryujin, who wears a bubble around his hips, eats the Atlantean Dog and enjoys its taste. In fact, he’s eating twenty of them.
Then he reached his hand with a plate and said “More, please!”
The vendor turned his head at Ryujin in surprise and said, “But, Your Majesty, you’ve already had twenty. Are you sure your stomach can handle it?”
“Well, your Atlantean Dogs are so yummy!” Ryujin said delightfully. “I could eat a ton more!”
“Oh, you have good taste!” A vendor said gratefully, and put more hot dogs on the plate. “All right. These are on the house!”
“Oh, thanks a bunch!” Ryujin coos.
And so, an old brown false kelpfish Fish-Man pulling a cart full of barrels while passing the streets.
“Yo, fishmonger! Nice haul you’ve got!” A vendor said.
“Yeah! You gotta work to eat, after all.” An old Fish-Man said.
Suddenly, a reckless hybrid; a half human and half Fish-Man, drives faster with a car-looking vehicle and panics.
♫One Piece Movie 3 OST - Watch out, Chopper!♫
“The b-b-b-brake is not working! GYAAH! S-Someone stop this blasted thing!” A driver screamed as he’s about to dash the old Fish-Man.
“What? A vehicle?!” A vendor questioned.
“WATCH OUT!!” A driver shouted as he was about to hit the old fish-man.
And just in time, Ryujin stops the vehicle with one hand. Then he looked at the old fish-man and asked. “Are you okay, old man?”
“Uh… Y-Yeah…” An old fish-man nodded. “Thanks, Your Majesty.”

After a while, King Ryujin pulls the cart with barrels while talking with the old fish-man while his Royal Soldiers are with them.
“Sorry for getting you to help me after saving me an’ all…” The old fish-man apologized.
“Don’t sweat it. I needed the exercise. But it must be a lot of work lugging this thing around every day.” Ryujin said.
“Not really.” The old-fish man said. “This country gives us old Fish-men the freedom to work. I’m glad I was born in the Kingdom of Atlantis.”
“I see.” Ryujin said proudly.
“May I pull my cart again?” The old-fish man asked as Ryujin gave the cart to him.
“Are you sure you want to keep pulling the cart? Do you need a break?” Ryujin asked.
“Don’t worry. My work is never done, Your Majesty. And thanks for helping me.” The old fish-man said as he pulled the cart while Ryujin looked at him proudly.
“Sire, still no sign of the Tiger Shark Pirates.” Royal Soldier No.1 stated.
“Then let’s try harder to find them.” Ryujin said.
“Your Majesty!” a voice from Raki called from below, and so did Aqua, Coral and Athena.
And they are all flying towards King Ryujin with bubbles around their hips.
“Father!” Aqua called.
“Oh, so you’ve finally come!” Ryujin said.
Meanwhile at another street, the old fish-man keeps pulling the cart with barrels. Suddenly two pirates as tiger shark Fish-Men appear in front of him, which surprises him.

Those pirates are the Tiger Shark Pirates.
“Hey, old man! there’s fish in there, isn’t there?” The first Tiger Shark Pirate asked.
“We’ll take them off your hands!” The second Tiger Shark Pirate said as he approached the old-fish man.
Then he grabs the old man’s arm and tosses him away to the ground.
“Wh-What are you-” The old fish-man questioned.
“Don’t worry! We’ll pay for this junk.” The first Tiger Shark Pirate said as he grabbed the cart’s pulling bar.
“Take these and be thankful we gave you anything!” The second Tiger Shark Pirate said as he picked up his gemstones from his pocket and tossed them in front of the old fish-man.
“Th-These are… gemstones?” The old fishmonger asked, then his eyes widened, and he figured that they were fakes. “No, it can’t be. There aren't any gemstones like this dull… They’re fakes?!”
“Hehe! Fakes you say?” The first Tiger Shark pirate laughed. “You got proof?”
“We’re servants of Lord Kiros of the Thief Abyss Pit! If you have any complaints, take them to our captain! Shaahahahaha!!” The second Tiger Shark laughed before the first pirate pulled the cart.
The blue fish-man ran to the old man, and saw if he’s okay.
“Are you okay, old man?” The blue fish-man asked as the old man nodded, then he glared at the pirates. “Those scoundrels. How could they be so cruel?”
“Those Tiger Shark Pirates are really such bullies. They don’t attack or kill someone, only steal anything we have.” The first mermaid said.
“Kiros is a notorious criminal who wants to sell these fake gemstones in order to trade with food and anything we have. This can’t go on like this. Someone needs to stop him.” The first merman said while clenched his fist.
Back to Ryujin, Raki swam towards the sea king angrily.
“HONESTLY!!” Raki barked while wagging his finger angrily at Ryujin who looked sheepishly. “You left the castle without even telling me, AGAIN! If anything were to happen to the king, it would cause serious problems for the Kingdom of Atlantis!”
“There's no use talking to Raki until he's finished.” Coral whispered as Aqua rolled her eyes.
“You might say that again. My father’s in trouble when he gets yelled at by his own advisor.” Aqua whispered as she shrugged her arms.
“You can’t just slip out of the castle! You have no idea how worried sick your daughter is about you!” Raki barked. “Please consider your responsibility as king before you act!”
“Sorry, I guess? In fact, if you all hadn’t shown up, who knows how we could find the Tiger Shark Pirates.” Ryujin apologized, sheepishly.
“Well, now we’re all here. Let’s go find these pirates before they’re causing trouble.” Athena said as everyone nodded.
“Uhm, I have a question, Father. What do these pirates have to do in Atlantis?” Aqua asked as she crossed her arms and tilted her head in curiosity.
“I’d heard there was a group of pirates causing havoc around the city and paying with fake gemstones. That’s why we have to find them, and ask them about the location where their captain resides.” Ryujin replied.
“Fake gemstones? That’s awful.” Aqua questioned.
“Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s go kick some butts of those pirates!” Coral cheered.
“Do you know where they are, Coral? They could be anywhere in Atlantis.” Aqua said.

As they’re preparing to search the pirates, a black colored axolotl came running with a fake gemstone she carried.
Her name is Chel, and she’s three years older than Coral.
Coral is the first one who saw Chel before she got bumped by her and cried in surprise. “MECHOKKU!”
“Coral!” Aqua yelped, surprised.
“Who are you?” Raki questioned Chel who looked both surprised and exhausted.
“Your Majesty! Look! The Tiger Shark Pirates!” The second Royal Soldier called the Ryujin Family saw the gang of Tiger Shark Pirates who were running towards them.
“There’s the little thief!” The third Tiger Shark Pirate shouted.
“Let’s grab that black axolotl!” the fourth Tiger Shark Pirate shouted.
Then they stopped in front of the Ryujin family and confronted them while unsheathed their swords.
“Hand over that thief to us, now!” The fifth Tiger Shark Pirate demanded.
“Big mistake, you lowly sea dogs! You dare command the King of Atlantis, Ryujin himself?!” Raki barked.
“We know who he is, Yellow Beak.” The third Tiger Shark Pirate snickers as Raki angrily pokes the pirate’s nose with his finger.
“Hey, that’s Mister Yellow Beak to you, pirate!” Raki shouted.
“So, you’ve come to save our troubles by looking for you.” Ryujin said. “I want to thank you for that.”
“We’ve heard that you pirates did some dirty work like causing trouble and paying with fake gemstones to our people.” Athena said. “Is it that you’re taking orders from your captain?”
“L-Look, don’t get in the wrong way, okay? We don’t mean to cause trouble this time, really! We just want to pay for drinks and food!” The third Tiger Shark Pirate stammered.
“And we’re trying to catch that little amphibian who took our gemstone, and we want it back!” the fourth Tiger Shark Pirate shouted.
Chel gasped, before she’s looking at Coral and hides behind her.
“Oh, please, don’t let them hurt me.” Chel begged as Coral looked surprised at her before she turned her head at the pirates with her angry glare at the pirates.
“Hey, pirates! Don’t you think it’s not nice to chase after this poor axolotl for that silly reason?” Coral asked angrily as she slowly approached the pirates.
“Coral?” Aqua asked. “What are you doing?”
“Now listen! If you know what’s good for you, you’d better stop making fake gemstones to pay the people to give you some food, money or any things you want! If you don’t, then King Ryujin will wield his trident and... PZZZOW! And fry a few tails around here-” Coral shouted angrily.
One of the Tiger Shark Pirates is getting annoyed by Coral’s threat, so he approaches.
♫One Piece Movie 5 OST - Luffy in Danger♫
“AAAAH SHADDAP!!” The fifth Tiger Shark Pirate shouted as he slapped Coral fiercely and sent her into the house’s wall.
Horrified, Aqua went her eyes widened and floated towards Coral while shouting. “CORAL!!”
“Hey! What the hell are you doing?! She’s trying to warn you!” Athena questioned.
“Nothing personal; but she’s just annoying. So I just have to shut her up.” The fifth Tiger Shark Pirate replied while grinning at Aqua who’s trying to wake her up.
“Coral, are you okay?! Say something! Speak to me!!” Aqua cried.
Coral opened her eyes, and whimpered while smiling weakly. “...Aqua… I’m okay…”
As Aqua sighed in relief, one of the Tiger Shark Pirate approached her and aimed at her forehead with her gun, and chuckled. “Hehehe, but you two wouldn’t be okay anymore once you two are dead fishes.”
“N-No!” Aqua cried.
♫One Piece Movie 9 OST - The Plot of Wapol’s Brother♫
“Aqua, look out!” Athena shouted, as suddenly, Ryujin rushed and grabbed the pirate’s wrist and forced him to drop the gun, and then pinned him to the ground.
“Ow! Oh, please, please!” The fifth Tiger Shark Pirate begged.
“SILENCE!!” Ryujin shouted, which made the pirates flinch.
“Okay, okay, I shut up right now. Please don’t hurt me.” The fifth Tiger Shark Pirate whimpered.
“If you ever come near my daughter again…” Ryujin growled.
“Your daughter?! Oh crap… Then, okay. I will never come near her… I promise…!” The fifth Tiger Shark Pirate whimpered.
“You’ve been warned, pirate.” Ryujin warned as he let go of the fifth Tiger Shark Pirate and let him go back to other pirates. “I demand one more thing from you before you go. Take me to your hideout, and I will talk to your captain.”
“Fat chance, King Ryujin. Soon when our captain will conquer this ocean, you, your family and all of your people will kneel before your new king.” The third Tiger Shark Pirate as the fourth pirate grabs Chel’s arm and dragged her away from Athena.
“Yeah, and this little gemstone-robbing thief’s coming with us.” The fourth Tiger Shark Pirate said.
“Oh, no, no, no, no, no! I assure you, I am not a thief. See, the Gods sent me a vision to give me a gift to the great King of Atlantis to show my loyalty to him. My only wish is to serve the Mermaid Princess of Atlantis.” Chel begged as she’s looking at Aqua who is disbelieved the black axolotl with pink fins serves her.
“Well, Aqua?” Ryujin asked.
Aqua looks down, closing her eyes and thinks for a while, then she looks at the pirates with her neutral expression.
“Release her. She’s now one of us.” Aqua commands as the pirates snickered, but her people gasped amazed.
The Tiger Shark Pirate grins, letting go of Chel’s arm and saying. “You’re lucky that we let you off the hook, and go with ‘em.”
Then he warned her. “But don’t you ever come back to the Thief Abyss Pit.”
“Quiet!!” The third Tiger Shark Pirate scolded as he tackled him down, then chuckled sheepishly. “Sorry, Your Majesty. It won’t happen again, I promise. But I can’t promise to take you to our captain. Lord Kiros is a fearsome leader. Very, very fearsome.”
Ryujin responds to them as he glares angrily and points at them with his trident which hums and glows golden which makes the pirates scared and flinch back.
“Heh, heh. Bye-bye!” The third Tiger Shark Pirate said nervously.
♫One Piece Movie 2 OST - Bet Your Life On It!♫
With a gunshot sound they disappear. Raki lights in front of Ryujin, giving him a “that'll show 'em” nod satisfactorily. Ryujin turns at Aqua who still holds Coral in her arms with his concerned expression and floats towards her.
“How is she, Aqua?” Ryujin asked.
“Yes, father. She’s-” Aqua said before she was cut off by Coral.
“I’m okay. Just okay.” Coral grunts as she sits up before she gives the king a thumb up.
“Heh, okay.” Ryujin chuckles as she turns to Athena and Chel.
“And what shall we do with her?” Athena asked as Chel stared worriedly at Ryujin.
“It’s okay. She’s coming with us.” Ryujin said as Chel looked in relief now.
“Thank you, Your Majesty.” Chel said as she bows.
“Come on, let’s head back to the castle. There’s something suspicious about the Tiger Shark Pirates…” Ryujin said as he flew off.
Coral, who’s fully recovered, jumps off Aqua’s arms and runs to Athena and leaps into her shoulders.
As for Aqua, she’s casting a sad look at Coral, and was worried about her friend who’s getting hurt by one of the pirates.
“Coral… I will never let you go near those pirates again.” Aqua thoughts as she’s flying off to catch up with her family and soldiers.
A bit later at the Atlantis Castle’s throne room, Chel puts the fake gemstones on the table.
“King Ryujin, I’ve brought these gemstones to you as a warning. Those gemstones are created by a magical pearl named Gemstone Pearl.” Chel said.
“A Gemstone Pearl?” Ryujin asked.
“Yes, it’s a magical pearl that can turn the rocks into gemstones. But the pirate’s captain, Lord Kiros, uses it to make the fake gemstones to pay the citizens after they take their food, furniture, weapons, tools, and treasure.” Chel said.
“Kiros, huh? I should’ve known it’s him.” Ryujin growled.
“By the Gods… He’s now outside Atlantis?” Athena gasped.
“Do you know him, Father?” Aqua asked.
♫One Piece Strong World - Gathering ~Light in the Tunnel~♫
“Yes. Before you were born, Aqua, Kiros is the tiger shark Fish-Man, and he’s a criminal in Atlantis before it sinks to the ocean floor. He wants to take control of the whole island and become the king to spread the terror. But Athena and I stopped him several times before King Draco decided to banish him further to the ocean.” Ryujin explained.
“And now his crewmate said he’s now at the Thief Abyss Pit. But how could we find it?” Athena asked.”
“We have to find Kiros and break the Gemstone Pearl before he’s going to pay my people with the fake gemstones. It’s very illegal.” Aqua said.
“You’re right. I’ll send my soldiers to investigate outside the kingdom and find that pit before they’ve returned.” Ryujin said.
“Soldiers! Search every pit you can find in the ocean!” Ryujin commands as the royal soldiers salute and head out to find the Thief Abyss Pit.
Chel sighs silently… They have no idea where the Thief Abyss Pit is, except her and brothers. She has to find her brothers and tell them the news.
“If you excuse me, Your Majesty, but I’m heading off to find my brothers.” Chel said.
“Do as you want. But be careful. The pirates may be lurking around the corners.” Ryujin said as Chel nodded.
Then she swam off to the doors as she passed through Coral, and winked at her. After Chel left the throne room, Coral somehow blushing and sighs tenderly.
“Father, maybe we could ask King Draco or King Neptune to aid us to find the Thief Abyss Pit.” Aqua suggested.
“I just about to think the same thing, my dear. But so far they haven’t robbed anything in Odyssey Kingdom or Fish-Man Island. Looks like we’re-.” Ryujin said, before Raki interjected.
“We’ll handle this mess on our own, so rest assured.” Raki said.
“Yeah, that’s what I am about to say.” Ryujin said, sheepishly.
“Ahem, anyway, there’s one thing about Kiros, young lady. We’ve heard the reports about him and his crew kidnapping some Fish-Men and mermen to dig up the real gold within the sea floors.” Raki explained.
“Kidnapping? That’s horrible.” Aqua said worriedly.
“And may I remind you to exercise caution? Those pirates are no pushovers, they’re top skilled in swordsmanship. And they are the only enemies I can't fight.” Raki said calmly before becoming agitated. “They got razor sharp teeth! They freaked me out!”
“Swords are not the only weapons they have, Aqua. Their jaws have a bite force of approximately 1,000 pounds per square inch just like the tiger sharks.” Athena warned.
“Understood.” Aqua nodded. “Then all we have to do is to stand by until one of our guards arrived and give us a report about-”
“We can’t just wait!” Coral shouted to interrupt them as Aqua, Ryujin, Athena and Raki looked surprised at her.
“Why do we stand her around and wait when those pirates are still out there?!” Coral questioned, angrily.
“Coral?” Athena asked, surprised.
♫One Piece Strong World - Nami’s Message ~Luffy’s Anger~♫
“They’ll come back and steal any stuff they want, and pay the people with their fake gemstones! Everyone’s scared, and nobody did anything about it!” Coral shouted, angrily.
“Coral, just calm down, and have some patience.” Ryujin said.
“NO! Somebody gotta do something!” Coral shouted as she turned around and swam towards the door.
Horrified, Aqua gasped; Coral’s going out to find the pirates all by herself, and maybe ended up hurt. Then she swam faster and stopped Coral’s advancing towards the door.
“Coral, what the hell were you thinking?” Aqua questioned.
“What do you think? I’m going out to find their hideout!” Coral barked.
“Are you going out there to find the pirates all by yourself?” Aqua questioned, upset.
“That’s the idea! All you’re doing now is to talk about pirates and waiting?! This is just a waste of time!” Coral barked.
“Coral, we’re planning to form a strategy on how to defeat those pirates!” Aqua said.
“So that’s it?! Why not have a single plan to attack?!” Coral shouted.
“Now, now, Coral, you must listen to what the princess said. Don’t rush about to find the pirates-” Raki soothes while giving Coral a reassuring pat on her shoulder.
“I don’t care!!” Coral shouted at Raki who gasped and flinched, before she turned to Aqua. “And why do you stop me all of a sudden?”
“Coral, listen to me!” Aqua said.
“Are you still treating me like a pet?” Coral asked angrily as Aqua hesitates.
But then she shouted angrily at her. “Why do you have to be so headstrong?! Those pirates are too dangerous to handle alone! You are NOT allowed to leave the castle! Is that clear?!”
Coral gasped silently as her eyes shimmered in sadness, before she shouted back. “How would you know?! They almost killed you, too!”
Then Coral swam while passing through her friend and started sobbing and opened the door and swam out.
“Oh, no…” Aqua whispered, sadly and lowered her head down, while she swam to her throne chair, sat down and sighed sadly.
“What’s happened to Coral? I’ve never seen her so frustrated like that before.” Athena asked her husband.
♫One Piece Movie 9 - Mushroom♫
“I think I know why.” Ryujin replied as his arms crossed. “Back at the streets, Coral gets smacked by one of the pirates. And that makes Aqua agitated after seeing her friend get hurt. That is why she becomes overprotective and won’t let her get hurt again or lose her.”
“Oh poor little one.” Athena sighed as she turned her head at the crestfallen Aqua.
“Hey, Raki… Do you, uhm, think I... I was too hard on her?” Aqua asked in concern.
“Absolutely not.” Raki replied while putting his wings on his hips. “Why, if Coral was my daughter, I'd show her who was boss. None of this "kicking the pirates’ butt" and other such nonsense. No, ma’am, I'd keep her under tight control.”
Ryujin rubs his chin and suddenly has a lightbulb moment.
“You're absolutely right, Raki.” King Ryujin said.
“Of course.” Raki said while his wings crossed.
“Someone to watch over her - to keep her out of trouble.” Ryujin said.
“Yes, keep her out of…” Raki said, before shaking his head and looking surprised at Ryujin and questioning. “Can you repeat that again?”
“And you are just the penguin to do it.” Ryujin said as he poked Raki in the belly.
Raki's eyes went wide and gulped nervously. “Okay, I’ll do what I can. After all, I’ll do it for Princess Aqua. And wish me good luck with that.”
Raki swam off to leave the throne room.
“Thank you, Raki! I’m counting on you!” Aqua called, before she looked down.
“Aqua… I think we need to talk.” Ryujin said as he caressed her chin with his hand.
“Okay, dad. About what?” Aqua asked.
Meanwhile, outside the Kingdom of Atlantis, Coral swam and grumbled angrily.
“Oh, I can’t believe that princess. She always treated me like a pet. And I am not a child anymore! I’ll show her that I can do more than a pet.” Coral complained, angrily.
Then she saw Chel who found her brothers; two of them are yellow and blue. Coral hides behind the rock and kelps.
“There she is… Now what is she up to this time?” Coral whispered.
Behind her, a sleepy Porcupine Puffer Fish, which it blows up like a spike balloon, floats slowly towards Coral, and it poked her in the back. After she got a stung on her back, Coral’s eyes widened, and whimpered.
Then she shouts in agony. “YIAAAAOW!!! OWWW!! OWW!!”
Her scream woke up the pufferfish who was terrified and swam off. And it passed through Raki who swam forwards to find Coral. After he saw the pufferfish who swam off, he whispered. “What just happened?”
On the seafloor, Chel heard a scream behind a rock, and wondered what it was. But then she shrugged and looked at her brothers.
Behind the rock, Coral whimpered while rubbing her back. “Ow… Stupid pufferfish,” she complained.
She didn’t either feel or notice that the toxic from a pufferfish didn’t kill her; but it somehow merges within her DNA and cells. It somehow… mutated her.

Once again, Coral peaks above the rock and looks at Chel who whispers to her brothers about their grotto, and then swam off.
“Hmm… I wonder where those axolotls are going.” Coral whispered, then she swam after them.
Above them, Raki saw them swim off, and was curious. “Coral’s followed them? Looks like I'll just tag along.”
Then he swam after them, just above them.
Across the landscape of rocks and reef, Coral swims after Chel and her brothers for 12 minutes before she stops swimming and hides behind another rock. Ahead of her, Chel rolls back a large rock, revealing an opening to a cave. She looks around to make sure no one is around and swims inside with her brothers.
As Coral tries to slip in behind them, the rock rolls shut on her waist, and she gasps.
She wheezed, and tried to breathe in, and then somehow her body started to puff up like a… a pufferfish?! Her body keeps inflating until she is as big as a basketball and pushes the rock until she gets free, but the rock closes on.
Raki saw Coral just getting puffed up, and then the rock closed on, and sighed hopelessly. “Great… Well, good thing I brought my bag with me.”
“And it is just me or… Raki’s puffed up? Oh, I shall worry about that later.” Raki whispered while swimming down.
He landed on the seafloor, opened his bag, and started to search and muttered while throwing some unnecessary things. “What kind of thingamajigger that I shall eavesdrop on again?”
Then he found a stethoscope and picked it up from the bag. “Ah, yes. The stethoscope.”
Inside the cave, Coral was shocked that her body was somehow inflated and thought in panic. “W-What just happened? Am I… puffed up like a-”
Then she gasped as she remembered what the pufferfish did to her, “The pufferfish! Its poison somehow didn’t kill me, and… it mutates me into a… puffer axolotl?! That’s not possible!”
And as Coral opened her mouth, and then… FWOOOOOOSH!! The excess water immediately blew outwards, launching the enormous balloon axolotl backwards as her body shrinks rapidly to her normal size and rolled on the seafloor and bumping into a small rock with her butt.

Coral gets up, and groans while rubbing her butt, and then looks around before she sees a big grotto where Chel and her brothers sat down on the cozy pillows while she put the map on the small table.
“Did you find their hideout, big sis?” The blue male axolotl asked.
“Yes, I’ve located the Thief Abyss Pit, far due east of Atlantis. That’s where the Tiger Shark Pirates and their captain Kiros reside. But what concerns me is about the Gemstone Pearl. How did he find it?” Chel said.
Outside the grotto, Raki heard what they’re saying with his stethoscope and was interested. “Hmm… Far due east of Atlantis… Mm-hmm, I see, I see…”
“I bet he kidnapped some mermen and fish-men to slave them to digging up some real gold.” The yellow male axolotl assumed. “Kiros is not interested in mermaids or other women in kind, because he thinks they are too weak, so maybe that’s why he let his crewmates kidnapped the strongest and toughest.”
“Kiros must be stopped before he keeps continuing to give the fake gemstones. Our master is captured and becomes a slave too, remember?” The blue male axolotl said.
“Azure, Gamboge. Our master Kurao is so tough, and he has an unbroken spirit to free the slaves. But he said he planned to take down Kiros’ empire. And he needs time to construct the bombs.” Chel said.
Outside the grotto, Raki gasped silently. “Kurao? He’s in the pit. And the empire? That’s new…”
Coral covers her mouth in disbelief, and backs off, then bumped into a picture frame of the great white shark.

Then Coral screams and swims frantically away, knocking over Azure.
“Ugh! Hey, who are you?” Azure asked as Coral shakes intensely.
“T-T-T-There’s a shark in here.” Coral whimpered, scarily.
“It’s just a picture frame, you scaredy-cat.” Azure muttered, unamused.
Chel already recognizes Coral, and was surprised for a bit, but then grins in interest. Maybe she could be a temporary partner in her team.
“Oh, sorry. Didn’t know it was there. Wait, you’re not afraid of predators, are you?” Coral sighed, then asked.
“Nope, not at all.” Azure replied while shaking his head as ‘no’.
“Wow…” Coral gasped, until Chel stood beside her.
“Hello~.” Chel greets mischievously after she poked on Coral’s shoulder.
Coral yelped and hid inside a helmet. Chel finds this so funny and laughs.
A pink axolotl opened the helmet while shaking softly, and begged. “Please, don’t hurt me. I just followed you to know about the Tiger Shark Pirates’ hideout.”
Chel tilted her head in interest while crossing her arms, and let her “Mm-hmm?” hum while nodding as Coral slowly came out of the helmet.
“And, I, uh, don’t mean to spy on you. I just-” Coral stammered as Chel gently put her hand on her mouth to silence her.
“Don’t worry about your intrusion, pinkie. I already knew that you’ve followed us all the time.” Chel said while smiling at her as Coral blushed.
“Uh… You knew?” Coral asked.

“Oh, of course I do. “ Chel replied as she bows. “My only wish is to serve the Mermaid Princess of Atlantis, I said. Remember?”
“Yes, but why didn’t you help Aqua?” Coral asked bitterly.
“I’m just grateful to command those pirates to release me, and I’m one of the people of this kingdom.” Chel said.
“Well, I see.” Coral said.
“Hey, girlie. I don’t know about you, but why don’t you ask the princess for help?” Azure asked.
“Why? Just because she treated me like a pet? Grounded me in the castle to not allow me to leave the castle?! Forget it! I wouldn't have asked her for help!” Coral questioned, angrily.
“That’s because she’s worried about you, and she does care about you.” Gamboge said.
“I JUST RAN AWAY BECAUSE I’LL PROVE AQUA THAT I’M MORE THAN A PET! I JUST WANT TO BE A BRAVE ADVENTURER!” Coral shouted angrily.
Outside the grotto, Raki gasped silently. “So that’s why she’s so frustrated because we don’t do anything… No matter why she’s so serious about this situation. Oh, by the Gods… Now I finally know how I feel.”
“Sorry that I’ve shouted, but it’s just… I’m just getting angry because those pirates are doing the illegal things, and then Aqua told me that I’m not leaving the castle, and then I’m so frustrated and disobeyed her, and then I left.” Coral sighed regretfully, then sat down.
“I should have been patient, but I just can’t stand around and wait. So that’s why I ran away… I mean Aqua never understands how I feel.” Coral sighed sadly.
“Oh, I am sure the princess understands you. If you feel regret for leaving the castle and disobeyed her orders, then… maybe you shall apologize to her.” Azure assured.
“I… think it will have to wait… Anyway, when I saw you guys were heading to this grotto, I wondered if I could help you find the Thief Abyss Pit.” Coral said.
“Are you kidding? It’s too dangerous for you.” Gamboge questioned.
“It’s okay, as long as she’s with us, and helps us to assist our master Kurao and free the slaves, then she’s coming with us.” Chel said.
“Really? And?” Coral asked, excitedly.
“And taking down Kiros.” Chel replied.
“Oh, that’s great! And I’ll become a brave adventurer, and that will prove Aqua that I am-” Coral exclaimed in excitement, then stopped, and wondered one thing. “How?”
♫One Piece Movie 4 OST - Starting Dawn♫
“Our mission is to free the slaves, after which the pirates and their captain will be brought down by all of them. Piece of cake, eh?” Azure said.
“Right.” Coral said.
“And did you say an adventurer?” Chel asked in interest.
“Yeah, why?” Coral asked.
“Think you're the only one who dreams of better things? Of adventure? You've got your reasons, and I've got mine. Let's not make it personal, okay? It's just business.” Chel said as she's slowly pacing towards Coral.
“Business?” Coral asked as Chel put her hand on her shoulder while standing beside her.
“Yes, if you’re to come with us in our mission, and prove yourself that you’re more than a princess’ pet, then it’s your decision.” Chel said.
Delightfully, Coral grabs Chel’s hand with her hands and bows in front of her and cries, “Oh, Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
“All right. Fine. After all, I'm sure you know the road to Thief Abyss Pit is treacherous, and there are carnivores out there.” Chel said, pulling away, then swam off.
“Carnivores. Oy.” Gamboge groaned while holding his forehead in exasperation.
“I know, but that’s the only way we can go.” Azure said
Then she turns around, and pace closes in front of Coral and rubs her cheek playfully. “So, my young Coral, I suggested you’d better stay close to little ol’ me. Okay?”
“Uhm… Okay, I will. And yes, my name is Coral. And, uh, you are…” Coral nodded, then cocks her head to the side.
“Chel. My name is Chel. Your new partner.” Chel introduced as Coral blushed when she hears a cute name.
“Well, I’m your partner-in-training, right?” Coral asked.
“Yes, and from now on since you’re with us temporarily, you do what I say and as I said, stay close to me, honey.” Chel said while humming.
“Don’t worry I will.” Coral nodded as she swam towards the exit.
But then she was yanked by Chel’s tail who grabs hers. Chel giggles that she caught a young axolotl with her tail.
“Hey, do you mind?” Coral asked, annoyed.
“Yes.” Chel replied, then gasped embarrassed. “Oh! Oh! Oh! Right. Uh, excuse me.”
♫One Piece Movie 4 OST - Wind is Coming!♫
Chel let go of Coral’s tail, while all axolotls are heading to the exit.
Raki’s still outside and sees the large rock was rolled by Chel, and he hides behind the kelps, and saw Chel, Coral, Azure and Gamboge saw out of the grotto.
“So, which way is the due east again?” Coral asked.
“Just follow me, rookie.” Chel said as she winked at Coral, then they all swam off due west.
Raki came out of the kelps and said, “So they know the way to the Thief Abyss Pit, eh? Oh, I shall better swim after them, just in case Coral doesn’t get hurt again.”
And then he swam way behind them, and all axolotls were swimming due east to the Thief Abyss Pit. And it’s going to be Coral’s perilous, but exciting adventure.
Meanwhile, in Aqua's bedroom…
Aqua sits on her bed while Ryujin sits with her.
“I know you're thinking what’s best for Coral, my dear.” Ryujin said. “But she really wants to help us find the Kiros’ hideout.”
“I know… But I’m just worried that she could get hurt, or worse, killed.” Aqua said. “So, that is why I have to let her stay in the castle until the pirates are arrested.”
“You can’t just be so over-protective for Coral forever.” Ryujin said. “She can take care of herself, even the black axolotl.”
“What are you talking about? I'm not over-protective.” Aqua asked.
“Not over-protective? Ha!” Ryujin scoffed, amused. “I wouldn’t even let Raki settle the scores with the Barracuda Bandits. Yeah, I know how Raki felt.”
♫One Piece Movie 7 OST - Keep Looking For the Golden Crown!♫
“Even so, Coral’s getting slapped by one of the pirates, and I was afraid that I’m going to lose her. If something bad happens to her again, I don’t know what to do.” Aqua sighed sadly as she wrapped her knee around her arms.
“Look, I know that I can feel your pity. I know you don’t want her to make the same mistakes Raki did. But she won't. She'll make her own mistakes. That's how you, Raki and Coral learn. You gotta let Coral be Coral.” Ryujin said.
“Hmm… Yeah, you’re right father… I know Raki will keep his eyes on Coral. But until then… I'd better apologize just as soon as she gets home.” Aqua said.
Aqua turned her head at the surface through the window and looked at the sun reflection.
“I hope you ever forgive me… Coral.” Aqua thoughted while she shed tears on her left eye before she closed her eyes.

Here's the fifth chapter of Aqua Mermaid Princess of Atlantis.
This chapter is the first part of the Tiger Shark Pirates saga aka Lord Kiros Story Arc, and this time we'll meet another support character as a black axolotl named Chel.
This story idea is mixed with Beast Saga Episode 1 and Biker Mice from Mars (1994) - The Pits.
In this story arc saga, Coral has a big role and this is the first time Aqua engaging a battle against a main villain.
This chapter has no songs, but it will before Aqua is fighting Lord Kiros.
Again, I'll add music tracks to feels like an old-fashioned and traditional Disney movie, and of course One Piece episodes.
And I hope you like my fourth chapter of Aqua Mermaid Princess of Atlantis.

Chapter 5 - Tiger Shark Pirates Part 1 - Chel

Months later…
September 3rd, 1524
It’s been many months, and Aqua is now 19 years old (since her birthday is March 20th.)
On February 19th, Aqua’s learned about the titans who were soon to be released, but she doesn’t know who. So she has to wait until the time has come. And then she also learned that Shirahoshi is the current incarnation of Poseidon and has the power to communicate to the Sea Kings and commands them.
♫One Piece Movie 7 OST - On the Route To the Mechanical Island♫
But right now, on a sunny morning, Aqua enjoys swimming around, but she’s racing the fastest sailfishes. In fact, this is another speed training, and now they’re swimming across the vast landscape of coral reef, seagrass meadow and the rock valleys, and now they’re heading to Atlantis.
Eventfully, after passing through the finishing line, Aqua won the training race, and proved that she can swim faster than a sailfish.
One of the sailfishes congrats Aqua and shakes his fins with the princess’ hand.
“Phew, that was a good exercise, princess. You’re really faster than us.” Sailfish No.1 said.
“Thanks. I guess the training race was really good exercise. You’re all great teachers.” Aqua said.
“Oh, don’t make us blush, ma’am. We’re doing this for your training sessions. Just in case you're going out to explore alone.” Sailfish No.2 said.
“Yeah, but I need to inform my father first. Well, gotta swim. Bye for now.” Aqua said as she swam off to the castle.
♫One Piece Movie 8 OST - The Country Is People’s Will♫
At the gates of the Atlantis Castle, Raki’s swimming slowly around looking for King Ryujin.
“Your Majesty! Your Majesty! King Ryujin!” Raki called. “Where are you, sir?”
At that moment Aqua has arrived and pace towards the king’s majordomo.
“Ah, Princess Aqua. Welcome back. How’s your speed training session?” Raki asked.
“It was fun and felt great. I feel like I can swim faster than the speed of sound.” Aqua said as she looked at her curvy shape. “And it feels like my body is getting used to my new speed.”
“Yeah, and maybe you could use your big chest as airbags when you crashed. “Raki joked as Aqua looked unamused.
“It’s not funny.” Aqua muttered irritatedly, then simmered down and asked. “Anyway, are you looking for my Father? Something happened?”
“Aqua!” A voice from far behind Raki was Coral, who is also 19 years old, who swam towards Aqua. “I couldn’t find your father! He’s gone!”
“Gone? Have you looked for him in the castle, Coral?” Aqua asked.
“No, he’s not even in his bedroom.” Coral replied, worriedly.
“Oh, for the love of Sea Gods…” Raki sighed, then looked at the city. “I can’t believe the King of Atlantis could be so happy-go-lucky. As the King’s advisor, I told him not to leave the castle without informing me first.”
“I wonder where he’s going.” Aqua wondered, then he heard a gate opened, and Athena approached her daughter. “Hello, Mother.”
“Oh, Queen Athena.” Raki saluted, as Coral was doing the same.
“Everyone, I’m sorry to keep my husband’s investigation a secret. But he told me that he can’t do this alone. So he brought his soldiers with him in disguise as citizens.” Athena apologized.
“An investigation? I didn’t hear anything about this. Do you know where he’s headed?” Aqua asked.
“Somewhere in the market. His investigation is to find the gang of pirates called the Tiger Shark Pirates.” Athena replied.
“The Tiger Shark Pirates?” Aqua asked.
♫One Piece Music & Song Collection 2 - Harbor Village (0:10)♫
Meanwhile at the market, where merpeople and Fish-Men from other islands are buying a lot of stuff like food, pillows, silks, jewelry, books and other stuff.
“Looking for vegetables? I’ve got loads, all fresh and delicious!” A happy merman called.
“Come and check out my silk fabrics!” The leopard shark Fish-Man called.
Nearby, a vendor is selling street food, which are called Atlantean Dogs, the sausages with red sauce.
This vendor is an orca Sea Mink.
The Sea Minks are a hybrid species between the Minks and Fish-Men. They are humanoids with aquatic mammals, and they are always welcome by King Ryujin. And they are also friends with the Atlantean humans too.
“Step right up!” A vendor called. “I’ve got Atlantean Dogs, the specialty of the Kingdom of Atlantis!”
In the corner, King Ryujin, who wears a bubble around his hips, eats the Atlantean Dog and enjoys its taste. In fact, he’s eating twenty of them.
Then he reached his hand with a plate and said “More, please!”
The vendor turned his head at Ryujin in surprise and said, “But, Your Majesty, you’ve already had twenty. Are you sure your stomach can handle it?”
“Well, your Atlantean Dogs are so yummy!” Ryujin said delightfully. “I could eat a ton more!”
“Oh, you have good taste!” A vendor said gratefully, and put more hot dogs on the plate. “All right. These are on the house!”
“Oh, thanks a bunch!” Ryujin coos.
And so, an old brown false kelpfish Fish-Man pulling a cart full of barrels while passing the streets.
“Yo, fishmonger! Nice haul you’ve got!” A vendor said.
“Yeah! You gotta work to eat, after all.” An old Fish-Man said.
Suddenly, a reckless hybrid; a half human and half Fish-Man, drives faster with a car-looking vehicle and panics.
♫One Piece Movie 3 OST - Watch out, Chopper!♫
“The b-b-b-brake is not working! GYAAH! S-Someone stop this blasted thing!” A driver screamed as he’s about to dash the old Fish-Man.
“What? A vehicle?!” A vendor questioned.
“WATCH OUT!!” A driver shouted as he was about to hit the old fish-man.
And just in time, Ryujin stops the vehicle with one hand. Then he looked at the old fish-man and asked. “Are you okay, old man?”
“Uh… Y-Yeah…” An old fish-man nodded. “Thanks, Your Majesty.”
♫Dragon Ball Super OST -Vol. 1- CD 1 - Under the Blue Sky (Starts at 1:14)♫
After a while, King Ryujin pulls the cart with barrels while talking with the old fish-man while his Royal Soldiers are with them.
“Sorry for getting you to help me after saving me an’ all…” The old fish-man apologized.
“Don’t sweat it. I needed the exercise. But it must be a lot of work lugging this thing around every day.” Ryujin said.
“Not really.” The old-fish man said. “This country gives us old Fish-men the freedom to work. I’m glad I was born in the Kingdom of Atlantis.”
“I see.” Ryujin said proudly.
“May I pull my cart again?” The old-fish man asked as Ryujin gave the cart to him.
“Are you sure you want to keep pulling the cart? Do you need a break?” Ryujin asked.
“Don’t worry. My work is never done, Your Majesty. And thanks for helping me.” The old fish-man said as he pulled the cart while Ryujin looked at him proudly.
“Sire, still no sign of the Tiger Shark Pirates.” Royal Soldier No.1 stated.
“Then let’s try harder to find them.” Ryujin said.
“Your Majesty!” a voice from Raki called from below, and so did Aqua, Coral and Athena.
And they are all flying towards King Ryujin with bubbles around their hips.
“Father!” Aqua called.
“Oh, so you’ve finally come!” Ryujin said.
Meanwhile at another street, the old fish-man keeps pulling the cart with barrels. Suddenly two pirates as tiger shark Fish-Men appear in front of him, which surprises him.
♫One Piece Movie 2 OST - Boroodo’s Confession♫
Those pirates are the Tiger Shark Pirates.
“Hey, old man! there’s fish in there, isn’t there?” The first Tiger Shark Pirate asked.
“We’ll take them off your hands!” The second Tiger Shark Pirate said as he approached the old-fish man.
Then he grabs the old man’s arm and tosses him away to the ground.
“Wh-What are you-” The old fish-man questioned.
“Don’t worry! We’ll pay for this junk.” The first Tiger Shark Pirate said as he grabbed the cart’s pulling bar.
“Take these and be thankful we gave you anything!” The second Tiger Shark Pirate said as he picked up his gemstones from his pocket and tossed them in front of the old fish-man.
“Th-These are… gemstones?” The old fishmonger asked, then his eyes widened, and he figured that they were fakes. “No, it can’t be. There aren't any gemstones like this dull… They’re fakes?!”
“Hehe! Fakes you say?” The first Tiger Shark pirate laughed. “You got proof?”
“We’re servants of Lord Kiros of the Thief Abyss Pit! If you have any complaints, take them to our captain! Shaahahahaha!!” The second Tiger Shark laughed before the first pirate pulled the cart.
The blue fish-man ran to the old man, and saw if he’s okay.
“Are you okay, old man?” The blue fish-man asked as the old man nodded, then he glared at the pirates. “Those scoundrels. How could they be so cruel?”
“Those Tiger Shark Pirates are really such bullies. They don’t attack or kill someone, only steal anything we have.” The first mermaid said.
“Kiros is a notorious criminal who wants to sell these fake gemstones in order to trade with food and anything we have. This can’t go on like this. Someone needs to stop him.” The first merman said while clenched his fist.
Back to Ryujin, Raki swam towards the sea king angrily.
“HONESTLY!!” Raki barked while wagging his finger angrily at Ryujin who looked sheepishly. “You left the castle without even telling me, AGAIN! If anything were to happen to the king, it would cause serious problems for the Kingdom of Atlantis!”
“There's no use talking to Raki until he's finished.” Coral whispered as Aqua rolled her eyes.
“You might say that again. My father’s in trouble when he gets yelled at by his own advisor.” Aqua whispered as she shrugged her arms.
“You can’t just slip out of the castle! You have no idea how worried sick your daughter is about you!” Raki barked. “Please consider your responsibility as king before you act!”
“Sorry, I guess? In fact, if you all hadn’t shown up, who knows how we could find the Tiger Shark Pirates.” Ryujin apologized, sheepishly.
“Well, now we’re all here. Let’s go find these pirates before they’re causing trouble.” Athena said as everyone nodded.
“Uhm, I have a question, Father. What do these pirates have to do in Atlantis?” Aqua asked as she crossed her arms and tilted her head in curiosity.
“I’d heard there was a group of pirates causing havoc around the city and paying with fake gemstones. That’s why we have to find them, and ask them about the location where their captain resides.” Ryujin replied.
“Fake gemstones? That’s awful.” Aqua questioned.
“Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s go kick some butts of those pirates!” Coral cheered.
“Do you know where they are, Coral? They could be anywhere in Atlantis.” Aqua said.

As they’re preparing to search the pirates, a black colored axolotl came running with a fake gemstone she carried.
Her name is Chel, and she’s three years older than Coral.
Coral is the first one who saw Chel before she got bumped by her and cried in surprise. “MECHOKKU!”
“Coral!” Aqua yelped, surprised.
“Who are you?” Raki questioned Chel who looked both surprised and exhausted.
“Your Majesty! Look! The Tiger Shark Pirates!” The second Royal Soldier called the Ryujin Family saw the gang of Tiger Shark Pirates who were running towards them.
“There’s the little thief!” The third Tiger Shark Pirate shouted.
“Let’s grab that black axolotl!” the fourth Tiger Shark Pirate shouted.
Then they stopped in front of the Ryujin family and confronted them while unsheathed their swords.
“Hand over that thief to us, now!” The fifth Tiger Shark Pirate demanded.
“Big mistake, you lowly sea dogs! You dare command the King of Atlantis, Ryujin himself?!” Raki barked.
“We know who he is, Yellow Beak.” The third Tiger Shark Pirate snickers as Raki angrily pokes the pirate’s nose with his finger.
“Hey, that’s Mister Yellow Beak to you, pirate!” Raki shouted.
“So, you’ve come to save our troubles by looking for you.” Ryujin said. “I want to thank you for that.”
“We’ve heard that you pirates did some dirty work like causing trouble and paying with fake gemstones to our people.” Athena said. “Is it that you’re taking orders from your captain?”
“L-Look, don’t get in the wrong way, okay? We don’t mean to cause trouble this time, really! We just want to pay for drinks and food!” The third Tiger Shark Pirate stammered.
“And we’re trying to catch that little amphibian who took our gemstone, and we want it back!” the fourth Tiger Shark Pirate shouted.
Chel gasped, before she’s looking at Coral and hides behind her.
“Oh, please, don’t let them hurt me.” Chel begged as Coral looked surprised at her before she turned her head at the pirates with her angry glare at the pirates.
“Hey, pirates! Don’t you think it’s not nice to chase after this poor axolotl for that silly reason?” Coral asked angrily as she slowly approached the pirates.
“Coral?” Aqua asked. “What are you doing?”
“Now listen! If you know what’s good for you, you’d better stop making fake gemstones to pay the people to give you some food, money or any things you want! If you don’t, then King Ryujin will wield his trident and... PZZZOW! And fry a few tails around here-” Coral shouted angrily.
One of the Tiger Shark Pirates is getting annoyed by Coral’s threat, so he approaches.

“AAAAH SHADDAP!!” The fifth Tiger Shark Pirate shouted as he slapped Coral fiercely and sent her into the house’s wall.
Horrified, Aqua went her eyes widened and floated towards Coral while shouting. “CORAL!!”
“Hey! What the hell are you doing?! She’s trying to warn you!” Athena questioned.
“Nothing personal; but she’s just annoying. So I just have to shut her up.” The fifth Tiger Shark Pirate replied while grinning at Aqua who’s trying to wake her up.
“Coral, are you okay?! Say something! Speak to me!!” Aqua cried.
Coral opened her eyes, and whimpered while smiling weakly. “...Aqua… I’m okay…”
As Aqua sighed in relief, one of the Tiger Shark Pirate approached her and aimed at her forehead with her gun, and chuckled. “Hehehe, but you two wouldn’t be okay anymore once you two are dead fishes.”
“N-No!” Aqua cried.

“Aqua, look out!” Athena shouted, as suddenly, Ryujin rushed and grabbed the pirate’s wrist and forced him to drop the gun, and then pinned him to the ground.
“Ow! Oh, please, please!” The fifth Tiger Shark Pirate begged.
“SILENCE!!” Ryujin shouted, which made the pirates flinch.
“Okay, okay, I shut up right now. Please don’t hurt me.” The fifth Tiger Shark Pirate whimpered.
“If you ever come near my daughter again…” Ryujin growled.
“Your daughter?! Oh crap… Then, okay. I will never come near her… I promise…!” The fifth Tiger Shark Pirate whimpered.
“You’ve been warned, pirate.” Ryujin warned as he let go of the fifth Tiger Shark Pirate and let him go back to other pirates. “I demand one more thing from you before you go. Take me to your hideout, and I will talk to your captain.”
“Fat chance, King Ryujin. Soon when our captain will conquer this ocean, you, your family and all of your people will kneel before your new king.” The third Tiger Shark Pirate as the fourth pirate grabs Chel’s arm and dragged her away from Athena.
“Yeah, and this little gemstone-robbing thief’s coming with us.” The fourth Tiger Shark Pirate said.
“Oh, no, no, no, no, no! I assure you, I am not a thief. See, the Gods sent me a vision to give me a gift to the great King of Atlantis to show my loyalty to him. My only wish is to serve the Mermaid Princess of Atlantis.” Chel begged as she’s looking at Aqua who is disbelieved the black axolotl with pink fins serves her.
“Well, Aqua?” Ryujin asked.
Aqua looks down, closing her eyes and thinks for a while, then she looks at the pirates with her neutral expression.
“Release her. She’s now one of us.” Aqua commands as the pirates snickered, but her people gasped amazed.
The Tiger Shark Pirate grins, letting go of Chel’s arm and saying. “You’re lucky that we let you off the hook, and go with ‘em.”
Then he warned her. “But don’t you ever come back to the Thief Abyss Pit.”
“Quiet!!” The third Tiger Shark Pirate scolded as he tackled him down, then chuckled sheepishly. “Sorry, Your Majesty. It won’t happen again, I promise. But I can’t promise to take you to our captain. Lord Kiros is a fearsome leader. Very, very fearsome.”
Ryujin responds to them as he glares angrily and points at them with his trident which hums and glows golden which makes the pirates scared and flinch back.
“Heh, heh. Bye-bye!” The third Tiger Shark Pirate said nervously.

With a gunshot sound they disappear. Raki lights in front of Ryujin, giving him a “that'll show 'em” nod satisfactorily. Ryujin turns at Aqua who still holds Coral in her arms with his concerned expression and floats towards her.
“How is she, Aqua?” Ryujin asked.
“Yes, father. She’s-” Aqua said before she was cut off by Coral.
“I’m okay. Just okay.” Coral grunts as she sits up before she gives the king a thumb up.
“Heh, okay.” Ryujin chuckles as she turns to Athena and Chel.
“And what shall we do with her?” Athena asked as Chel stared worriedly at Ryujin.
“It’s okay. She’s coming with us.” Ryujin said as Chel looked in relief now.
“Thank you, Your Majesty.” Chel said as she bows.
“Come on, let’s head back to the castle. There’s something suspicious about the Tiger Shark Pirates…” Ryujin said as he flew off.
Coral, who’s fully recovered, jumps off Aqua’s arms and runs to Athena and leaps into her shoulders.
As for Aqua, she’s casting a sad look at Coral, and was worried about her friend who’s getting hurt by one of the pirates.
“Coral… I will never let you go near those pirates again.” Aqua thoughts as she’s flying off to catch up with her family and soldiers.
A bit later at the Atlantis Castle’s throne room, Chel puts the fake gemstones on the table.
“King Ryujin, I’ve brought these gemstones to you as a warning. Those gemstones are created by a magical pearl named Gemstone Pearl.” Chel said.
“A Gemstone Pearl?” Ryujin asked.
“Yes, it’s a magical pearl that can turn the rocks into gemstones. But the pirate’s captain, Lord Kiros, uses it to make the fake gemstones to pay the citizens after they take their food, furniture, weapons, tools, and treasure.” Chel said.
“Kiros, huh? I should’ve known it’s him.” Ryujin growled.
“By the Gods… He’s now outside Atlantis?” Athena gasped.
“Do you know him, Father?” Aqua asked.
♫One Piece Strong World - Gathering ~Light in the Tunnel~♫
“Yes. Before you were born, Aqua, Kiros is the tiger shark Fish-Man, and he’s a criminal in Atlantis before it sinks to the ocean floor. He wants to take control of the whole island and become the king to spread the terror. But Athena and I stopped him several times before King Draco decided to banish him further to the ocean.” Ryujin explained.
“And now his crewmate said he’s now at the Thief Abyss Pit. But how could we find it?” Athena asked.”
“We have to find Kiros and break the Gemstone Pearl before he’s going to pay my people with the fake gemstones. It’s very illegal.” Aqua said.
“You’re right. I’ll send my soldiers to investigate outside the kingdom and find that pit before they’ve returned.” Ryujin said.
“Soldiers! Search every pit you can find in the ocean!” Ryujin commands as the royal soldiers salute and head out to find the Thief Abyss Pit.
Chel sighs silently… They have no idea where the Thief Abyss Pit is, except her and brothers. She has to find her brothers and tell them the news.
“If you excuse me, Your Majesty, but I’m heading off to find my brothers.” Chel said.
“Do as you want. But be careful. The pirates may be lurking around the corners.” Ryujin said as Chel nodded.
Then she swam off to the doors as she passed through Coral, and winked at her. After Chel left the throne room, Coral somehow blushing and sighs tenderly.
“Father, maybe we could ask King Draco or King Neptune to aid us to find the Thief Abyss Pit.” Aqua suggested.
“I just about to think the same thing, my dear. But so far they haven’t robbed anything in Odyssey Kingdom or Fish-Man Island. Looks like we’re-.” Ryujin said, before Raki interjected.
“We’ll handle this mess on our own, so rest assured.” Raki said.
“Yeah, that’s what I am about to say.” Ryujin said, sheepishly.
“Ahem, anyway, there’s one thing about Kiros, young lady. We’ve heard the reports about him and his crew kidnapping some Fish-Men and mermen to dig up the real gold within the sea floors.” Raki explained.
“Kidnapping? That’s horrible.” Aqua said worriedly.
“And may I remind you to exercise caution? Those pirates are no pushovers, they’re top skilled in swordsmanship. And they are the only enemies I can't fight.” Raki said calmly before becoming agitated. “They got razor sharp teeth! They freaked me out!”
“Swords are not the only weapons they have, Aqua. Their jaws have a bite force of approximately 1,000 pounds per square inch just like the tiger sharks.” Athena warned.
“Understood.” Aqua nodded. “Then all we have to do is to stand by until one of our guards arrived and give us a report about-”
“We can’t just wait!” Coral shouted to interrupt them as Aqua, Ryujin, Athena and Raki looked surprised at her.
“Why do we stand her around and wait when those pirates are still out there?!” Coral questioned, angrily.
“Coral?” Athena asked, surprised.

“They’ll come back and steal any stuff they want, and pay the people with their fake gemstones! Everyone’s scared, and nobody did anything about it!” Coral shouted, angrily.
“Coral, just calm down, and have some patience.” Ryujin said.
“NO! Somebody gotta do something!” Coral shouted as she turned around and swam towards the door.
Horrified, Aqua gasped; Coral’s going out to find the pirates all by herself, and maybe ended up hurt. Then she swam faster and stopped Coral’s advancing towards the door.
“Coral, what the hell were you thinking?” Aqua questioned.
“What do you think? I’m going out to find their hideout!” Coral barked.
“Are you going out there to find the pirates all by yourself?” Aqua questioned, upset.
“That’s the idea! All you’re doing now is to talk about pirates and waiting?! This is just a waste of time!” Coral barked.
“Coral, we’re planning to form a strategy on how to defeat those pirates!” Aqua said.
“So that’s it?! Why not have a single plan to attack?!” Coral shouted.
“Now, now, Coral, you must listen to what the princess said. Don’t rush about to find the pirates-” Raki soothes while giving Coral a reassuring pat on her shoulder.
“I don’t care!!” Coral shouted at Raki who gasped and flinched, before she turned to Aqua. “And why do you stop me all of a sudden?”
“Coral, listen to me!” Aqua said.
“Are you still treating me like a pet?” Coral asked angrily as Aqua hesitates.
But then she shouted angrily at her. “Why do you have to be so headstrong?! Those pirates are too dangerous to handle alone! You are NOT allowed to leave the castle! Is that clear?!”
Coral gasped silently as her eyes shimmered in sadness, before she shouted back. “How would you know?! They almost killed you, too!”
Then Coral swam while passing through her friend and started sobbing and opened the door and swam out.
“Oh, no…” Aqua whispered, sadly and lowered her head down, while she swam to her throne chair, sat down and sighed sadly.
“What’s happened to Coral? I’ve never seen her so frustrated like that before.” Athena asked her husband.

“I think I know why.” Ryujin replied as his arms crossed. “Back at the streets, Coral gets smacked by one of the pirates. And that makes Aqua agitated after seeing her friend get hurt. That is why she becomes overprotective and won’t let her get hurt again or lose her.”
“Oh poor little one.” Athena sighed as she turned her head at the crestfallen Aqua.
“Hey, Raki… Do you, uhm, think I... I was too hard on her?” Aqua asked in concern.
“Absolutely not.” Raki replied while putting his wings on his hips. “Why, if Coral was my daughter, I'd show her who was boss. None of this "kicking the pirates’ butt" and other such nonsense. No, ma’am, I'd keep her under tight control.”
Ryujin rubs his chin and suddenly has a lightbulb moment.
“You're absolutely right, Raki.” King Ryujin said.
“Of course.” Raki said while his wings crossed.
“Someone to watch over her - to keep her out of trouble.” Ryujin said.
“Yes, keep her out of…” Raki said, before shaking his head and looking surprised at Ryujin and questioning. “Can you repeat that again?”
“And you are just the penguin to do it.” Ryujin said as he poked Raki in the belly.
Raki's eyes went wide and gulped nervously. “Okay, I’ll do what I can. After all, I’ll do it for Princess Aqua. And wish me good luck with that.”
Raki swam off to leave the throne room.
“Thank you, Raki! I’m counting on you!” Aqua called, before she looked down.
“Aqua… I think we need to talk.” Ryujin said as he caressed her chin with his hand.
“Okay, dad. About what?” Aqua asked.
Meanwhile, outside the Kingdom of Atlantis, Coral swam and grumbled angrily.
“Oh, I can’t believe that princess. She always treated me like a pet. And I am not a child anymore! I’ll show her that I can do more than a pet.” Coral complained, angrily.
Then she saw Chel who found her brothers; two of them are yellow and blue. Coral hides behind the rock and kelps.
“There she is… Now what is she up to this time?” Coral whispered.
Behind her, a sleepy Porcupine Puffer Fish, which it blows up like a spike balloon, floats slowly towards Coral, and it poked her in the back. After she got a stung on her back, Coral’s eyes widened, and whimpered.
Then she shouts in agony. “YIAAAAOW!!! OWWW!! OWW!!”
Her scream woke up the pufferfish who was terrified and swam off. And it passed through Raki who swam forwards to find Coral. After he saw the pufferfish who swam off, he whispered. “What just happened?”
On the seafloor, Chel heard a scream behind a rock, and wondered what it was. But then she shrugged and looked at her brothers.
Behind the rock, Coral whimpered while rubbing her back. “Ow… Stupid pufferfish,” she complained.
She didn’t either feel or notice that the toxic from a pufferfish didn’t kill her; but it somehow merges within her DNA and cells. It somehow… mutated her.

Once again, Coral peaks above the rock and looks at Chel who whispers to her brothers about their grotto, and then swam off.
“Hmm… I wonder where those axolotls are going.” Coral whispered, then she swam after them.
Above them, Raki saw them swim off, and was curious. “Coral’s followed them? Looks like I'll just tag along.”
Then he swam after them, just above them.
Across the landscape of rocks and reef, Coral swims after Chel and her brothers for 12 minutes before she stops swimming and hides behind another rock. Ahead of her, Chel rolls back a large rock, revealing an opening to a cave. She looks around to make sure no one is around and swims inside with her brothers.
As Coral tries to slip in behind them, the rock rolls shut on her waist, and she gasps.
She wheezed, and tried to breathe in, and then somehow her body started to puff up like a… a pufferfish?! Her body keeps inflating until she is as big as a basketball and pushes the rock until she gets free, but the rock closes on.
Raki saw Coral just getting puffed up, and then the rock closed on, and sighed hopelessly. “Great… Well, good thing I brought my bag with me.”
“And it is just me or… Raki’s puffed up? Oh, I shall worry about that later.” Raki whispered while swimming down.
He landed on the seafloor, opened his bag, and started to search and muttered while throwing some unnecessary things. “What kind of thingamajigger that I shall eavesdrop on again?”
Then he found a stethoscope and picked it up from the bag. “Ah, yes. The stethoscope.”
Inside the cave, Coral was shocked that her body was somehow inflated and thought in panic. “W-What just happened? Am I… puffed up like a-”
Then she gasped as she remembered what the pufferfish did to her, “The pufferfish! Its poison somehow didn’t kill me, and… it mutates me into a… puffer axolotl?! That’s not possible!”
And as Coral opened her mouth, and then… FWOOOOOOSH!! The excess water immediately blew outwards, launching the enormous balloon axolotl backwards as her body shrinks rapidly to her normal size and rolled on the seafloor and bumping into a small rock with her butt.
♫One Piece Movie 7 OST - And Ratchet, Pursuing the Two Moons♫
Coral gets up, and groans while rubbing her butt, and then looks around before she sees a big grotto where Chel and her brothers sat down on the cozy pillows while she put the map on the small table.
“Did you find their hideout, big sis?” The blue male axolotl asked.
“Yes, I’ve located the Thief Abyss Pit, far due east of Atlantis. That’s where the Tiger Shark Pirates and their captain Kiros reside. But what concerns me is about the Gemstone Pearl. How did he find it?” Chel said.
Outside the grotto, Raki heard what they’re saying with his stethoscope and was interested. “Hmm… Far due east of Atlantis… Mm-hmm, I see, I see…”
“I bet he kidnapped some mermen and fish-men to slave them to digging up some real gold.” The yellow male axolotl assumed. “Kiros is not interested in mermaids or other women in kind, because he thinks they are too weak, so maybe that’s why he let his crewmates kidnapped the strongest and toughest.”
“Kiros must be stopped before he keeps continuing to give the fake gemstones. Our master is captured and becomes a slave too, remember?” The blue male axolotl said.
“Azure, Gamboge. Our master Kurao is so tough, and he has an unbroken spirit to free the slaves. But he said he planned to take down Kiros’ empire. And he needs time to construct the bombs.” Chel said.
Outside the grotto, Raki gasped silently. “Kurao? He’s in the pit. And the empire? That’s new…”
Coral covers her mouth in disbelief, and backs off, then bumped into a picture frame of the great white shark.

Then Coral screams and swims frantically away, knocking over Azure.
“Ugh! Hey, who are you?” Azure asked as Coral shakes intensely.
“T-T-T-There’s a shark in here.” Coral whimpered, scarily.
“It’s just a picture frame, you scaredy-cat.” Azure muttered, unamused.
Chel already recognizes Coral, and was surprised for a bit, but then grins in interest. Maybe she could be a temporary partner in her team.
“Oh, sorry. Didn’t know it was there. Wait, you’re not afraid of predators, are you?” Coral sighed, then asked.
“Nope, not at all.” Azure replied while shaking his head as ‘no’.
“Wow…” Coral gasped, until Chel stood beside her.
“Hello~.” Chel greets mischievously after she poked on Coral’s shoulder.
Coral yelped and hid inside a helmet. Chel finds this so funny and laughs.
A pink axolotl opened the helmet while shaking softly, and begged. “Please, don’t hurt me. I just followed you to know about the Tiger Shark Pirates’ hideout.”
Chel tilted her head in interest while crossing her arms, and let her “Mm-hmm?” hum while nodding as Coral slowly came out of the helmet.
“And, I, uh, don’t mean to spy on you. I just-” Coral stammered as Chel gently put her hand on her mouth to silence her.
“Don’t worry about your intrusion, pinkie. I already knew that you’ve followed us all the time.” Chel said while smiling at her as Coral blushed.
“Uh… You knew?” Coral asked.

“Oh, of course I do. “ Chel replied as she bows. “My only wish is to serve the Mermaid Princess of Atlantis, I said. Remember?”
“Yes, but why didn’t you help Aqua?” Coral asked bitterly.
“I’m just grateful to command those pirates to release me, and I’m one of the people of this kingdom.” Chel said.
“Well, I see.” Coral said.
“Hey, girlie. I don’t know about you, but why don’t you ask the princess for help?” Azure asked.
“Why? Just because she treated me like a pet? Grounded me in the castle to not allow me to leave the castle?! Forget it! I wouldn't have asked her for help!” Coral questioned, angrily.
“That’s because she’s worried about you, and she does care about you.” Gamboge said.
“I JUST RAN AWAY BECAUSE I’LL PROVE AQUA THAT I’M MORE THAN A PET! I JUST WANT TO BE A BRAVE ADVENTURER!” Coral shouted angrily.
Outside the grotto, Raki gasped silently. “So that’s why she’s so frustrated because we don’t do anything… No matter why she’s so serious about this situation. Oh, by the Gods… Now I finally know how I feel.”
“Sorry that I’ve shouted, but it’s just… I’m just getting angry because those pirates are doing the illegal things, and then Aqua told me that I’m not leaving the castle, and then I’m so frustrated and disobeyed her, and then I left.” Coral sighed regretfully, then sat down.
“I should have been patient, but I just can’t stand around and wait. So that’s why I ran away… I mean Aqua never understands how I feel.” Coral sighed sadly.
“Oh, I am sure the princess understands you. If you feel regret for leaving the castle and disobeyed her orders, then… maybe you shall apologize to her.” Azure assured.
“I… think it will have to wait… Anyway, when I saw you guys were heading to this grotto, I wondered if I could help you find the Thief Abyss Pit.” Coral said.
“Are you kidding? It’s too dangerous for you.” Gamboge questioned.
“It’s okay, as long as she’s with us, and helps us to assist our master Kurao and free the slaves, then she’s coming with us.” Chel said.
“Really? And?” Coral asked, excitedly.
“And taking down Kiros.” Chel replied.
“Oh, that’s great! And I’ll become a brave adventurer, and that will prove Aqua that I am-” Coral exclaimed in excitement, then stopped, and wondered one thing. “How?”

“Our mission is to free the slaves, after which the pirates and their captain will be brought down by all of them. Piece of cake, eh?” Azure said.
“Right.” Coral said.
“And did you say an adventurer?” Chel asked in interest.
“Yeah, why?” Coral asked.
“Think you're the only one who dreams of better things? Of adventure? You've got your reasons, and I've got mine. Let's not make it personal, okay? It's just business.” Chel said as she's slowly pacing towards Coral.
“Business?” Coral asked as Chel put her hand on her shoulder while standing beside her.
“Yes, if you’re to come with us in our mission, and prove yourself that you’re more than a princess’ pet, then it’s your decision.” Chel said.
Delightfully, Coral grabs Chel’s hand with her hands and bows in front of her and cries, “Oh, Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
“All right. Fine. After all, I'm sure you know the road to Thief Abyss Pit is treacherous, and there are carnivores out there.” Chel said, pulling away, then swam off.
“Carnivores. Oy.” Gamboge groaned while holding his forehead in exasperation.
“I know, but that’s the only way we can go.” Azure said
Then she turns around, and pace closes in front of Coral and rubs her cheek playfully. “So, my young Coral, I suggested you’d better stay close to little ol’ me. Okay?”
“Uhm… Okay, I will. And yes, my name is Coral. And, uh, you are…” Coral nodded, then cocks her head to the side.
“Chel. My name is Chel. Your new partner.” Chel introduced as Coral blushed when she hears a cute name.
“Well, I’m your partner-in-training, right?” Coral asked.
“Yes, and from now on since you’re with us temporarily, you do what I say and as I said, stay close to me, honey.” Chel said while humming.
“Don’t worry I will.” Coral nodded as she swam towards the exit.
But then she was yanked by Chel’s tail who grabs hers. Chel giggles that she caught a young axolotl with her tail.
“Hey, do you mind?” Coral asked, annoyed.
“Yes.” Chel replied, then gasped embarrassed. “Oh! Oh! Oh! Right. Uh, excuse me.”

Chel let go of Coral’s tail, while all axolotls are heading to the exit.
Raki’s still outside and sees the large rock was rolled by Chel, and he hides behind the kelps, and saw Chel, Coral, Azure and Gamboge saw out of the grotto.
“So, which way is the due east again?” Coral asked.
“Just follow me, rookie.” Chel said as she winked at Coral, then they all swam off due west.
Raki came out of the kelps and said, “So they know the way to the Thief Abyss Pit, eh? Oh, I shall better swim after them, just in case Coral doesn’t get hurt again.”
And then he swam way behind them, and all axolotls were swimming due east to the Thief Abyss Pit. And it’s going to be Coral’s perilous, but exciting adventure.
Meanwhile, in Aqua's bedroom…
Aqua sits on her bed while Ryujin sits with her.
“I know you're thinking what’s best for Coral, my dear.” Ryujin said. “But she really wants to help us find the Kiros’ hideout.”
“I know… But I’m just worried that she could get hurt, or worse, killed.” Aqua said. “So, that is why I have to let her stay in the castle until the pirates are arrested.”
“You can’t just be so over-protective for Coral forever.” Ryujin said. “She can take care of herself, even the black axolotl.”
“What are you talking about? I'm not over-protective.” Aqua asked.
“Not over-protective? Ha!” Ryujin scoffed, amused. “I wouldn’t even let Raki settle the scores with the Barracuda Bandits. Yeah, I know how Raki felt.”

“Even so, Coral’s getting slapped by one of the pirates, and I was afraid that I’m going to lose her. If something bad happens to her again, I don’t know what to do.” Aqua sighed sadly as she wrapped her knee around her arms.
“Look, I know that I can feel your pity. I know you don’t want her to make the same mistakes Raki did. But she won't. She'll make her own mistakes. That's how you, Raki and Coral learn. You gotta let Coral be Coral.” Ryujin said.
“Hmm… Yeah, you’re right father… I know Raki will keep his eyes on Coral. But until then… I'd better apologize just as soon as she gets home.” Aqua said.
Aqua turned her head at the surface through the window and looked at the sun reflection.
“I hope you ever forgive me… Coral.” Aqua thoughted while she shed tears on her left eye before she closed her eyes.

Here's the fifth chapter of Aqua Mermaid Princess of Atlantis.
This chapter is the first part of the Tiger Shark Pirates saga aka Lord Kiros Story Arc, and this time we'll meet another support character as a black axolotl named Chel.
This story idea is mixed with Beast Saga Episode 1 and Biker Mice from Mars (1994) - The Pits.
In this story arc saga, Coral has a big role and this is the first time Aqua engaging a battle against a main villain.
This chapter has no songs, but it will before Aqua is fighting Lord Kiros.
Again, I'll add music tracks to feels like an old-fashioned and traditional Disney movie, and of course One Piece episodes.
