Yup. French comicbooks and cartoons tend to use black and yellow stripes for prison uniforms. Most famously with the Daltons. I don't know why that is, maybe yellow looked better than white on old comic paper, but that's been the norm in french comics for awhile, so I figured it was fitting for this french prison setting
