Not being terribly initiated on suit makers (though I am looking now after my first AC this year =D) I don't know who made these suits. They were made by the same designer obviously. They must be coveted pieces because they all hang out together and seem to have a bond among the adorned. I was on the roof of the convention center shooting the bridges when they came up for a formal group shot. I kinda poached a few shots of my own XD
The guy setting up the shot in the end stated that between the two of us, we should have gotten it, so he clearly didn't mind =D I do wish I had gotten this a bit sharper though. I should have opened the aperture a bit and gotten a faster shutter speed =X Maybe upped the ISO if I had to. Oh well, there's always FC!
So anyway, if anyone knows both who made these suits and the individual owners, I would love to let them have the photo in full resolution (if they desire). Thanks!
What I did: wanted to keep the shadow detail so few tweaks. Neutral camera profile, auto white balance, had to edit out the little photographer on the bottom left, lol. Unsharp mask (300%, 0.2, 0).

They were made by http://www.furaffinity.net/user/qarrezel/
They have the best work I've ever seen personally.

aww hmm so guess possibly alter every little peice of detail on your suit to a different characteristic of an animal like bunny ears, wolf muzzle, dragon wings, tiger tail? o.O im not to sure if im even helping but yea no rush in making your fursona perfect, if anything you can have a second fursona and have a suit made for that and keep it simple before you get your otherkin type of fursona thought up.
I have to agree with this. Being quite similar, I would adore having something, but it would have to be -spot on perfect- before I would consider it. The Hawk on the very left is Gyrhawk, and I read later that the other person taking photos was Derecho? My word what a small world, I've known De for over a decade now :} Really wish I could have attended this.
Oh wow! You got a GREAT shot. The person you were talking to was
derecho. The blue bird and the black dragon are my suits and I was the organizer for this particular meetup :) If you have other photos from this shoot, I'd LOVE to get a zip file of them to distribute to everyone you see here. I'll DM you my email :)

Yes all you are correct but you left out a very important fact. That being that both
qarrezel and
LaughingScarab run Clockwork Creature Studio. Together they do some amazing work. http://www.clockworkcreature.com That link there will take you to their sight where you will be able to get some details on their prices and suits. I would get a suit made by them in a heart beat if I could, but sadly I lack that financial liberty to do so.

Oh I am sorry but I made a mistake in the post above. It turns out that her husband, Laughing Scarab does not have a FA, But he does have a DA. http://laughingscarab.deviantart.com/ There is a link to his DA. He is just as talented as his wife.
Okay, I strongly doubt you took that picture at 10pm, so I'll have to assume that your camera's clock isn't set :)
In general, because of the heavy overcast all weekend, I shot at ISO400 using my 35mm lens at f/2 or 2.8. Helped get me the shutter speeds I needed. Between the ISO and aperture, there's 3 stops difference that could get you to 1/50s, which is easier to handhold and to avoid fursuit swagger :)
I think the black suits in this case would see a big help from a bit of fill flash; right now they have a bit of a silhouette appearance. But alas, black and white in the same shot always results in one colour being too dark or one being too light. :) Still trying to figure out the forumula for getting both properly exposed.
I'm kind of jealous that you got this opportunity... I've always been a fan of
qarrezel's work XD
Great shot otherwise!

Yea =) I REALLY gotta figure out what the hell I looked like so I can get the ball rolling on this. Damn I wish the subconscious could be beaten into submission, lol. Idealy, I would try to have one done by FC this year, but even if I had a perfect idea, I suspect that that would be a tall order.
It's so expensive to get out there.
It's not easy going to these cons.
Only thing I can say is if I'm lucky to have
the right amount of money on hand, I'll go.
A.C. right now is about as far as I can go
since it's a little be easier/cheaper. (FWA was
just by luck since I have family near there.)

Anything for another Wisconsiner...well former in my case, lol. I will be sending this to a couple of people who are apparently creating archives for all parties involved. I can do it just that way if you wish, otherwise, if you can note me your email. BTW, RAW image or JPG? Don't know how easy you will be able to open a RAW.
Ok, got a dropbox to make my life easier:
