Alright, this is my first of two submissions today. Here's my half of an art trade with silverfoxalpha that has been going on for the past two months. I was working on a more comicy style, but I'm not too sure that it worked out. My scanner and my lack of coloring ability really screwed this one up.... And it looked so good to begin with.... >.<
Anyways, this is my character, Lambda, in a duel with his character, Frostbite. In case you didn't realize it, Lambda looses.... badly... But she's not really going to die, At least, I don't think so. I'm not too good at planning for the future, I suppose. As you can clearly see, I'm not too good at drawing things like this, and this, hopefully, counts as practice. Anyways, the quality is not as good as I hoped, and I'm more than willing to draw a new picture to make up for this crappy one.

That's a pretty hard way to stab someone. you ether have to break all the ribs or have a sword sharp enough to cut through bone, like 8 inches of bone. that's a kill shot right there. if she does live the invury to her spine would likely make use of her body impossable. though you're art is pretty good otherwise.

Oh, I know. Given that the location of the wound is near the direct center of her chest, the sword would have pierced through her sternum and pulverized any thoratic vertebrae below the 5th, not to mention slicing through the heart and devinately rupturing the lungs, if not causing more damage. So, if she were mortal, she'd be dead. Oh, would she ever be dead. But Lambda has powers. And I'm guessing that Frostbite can wield that sword pretty effectively. So, for him, that would be an easy shot, and it took her by surprise, though for the purposes of the picture, it was supposed to be one of those "last-minute burst of strength and power" shots that caught lambda off guard. Thanks, though. Very helpful comment. I just don't really draw battle scenes that often, or ever before this one. I just need more practice at that kind of stuff. ^^

I’m a self styled swordsman plus a sharpshooter, I’ll help you with the flow of battle, or even help with telling you where a warrior would most likely have scares.
