Memmet's subconscious is directly connected to an all-devouring Eldritch God known as the Night Princess. Whenever he falls asleep, the ecliptic being will immediately try to devour him, forcing him to stay awake often for days at a time. To stay alive, Memmet will entice an unwitting partner to pair with him, easily lulling them to sleep with his natural body heat and ultra-soft, weighted ears. Once his prey is docile, he drags their subconscious into his own dream realm where they are fed to the Night Princess. Once she is sated, Memmet is allowed a long awaited, dreamless sleep. After he wakes up, the cycle starts once more.

Maybe the lore is a little dark for what is ostensibly a coomer OC, but the idea sounded cool in my head.
