[ Description by JSK244 ]
* ding * ding! *
The little chime went off in their headset, alerting them to a new customer at the drive-thru. With how busy the inside was, it was a relief to not have to man the soda machine for a minute as they quickly moved over to the little corner and pulled up the screen. "Hello there and how may I help you today? Are you using our mobile app for this order?"
There was a bit of a muttered conversation, making the operater roll their eyes. Someone always waited until the last minute to change their order. [Um...I'd like to order two number nine's please.]
"Mmmhm, and for the drinks?"
[Two colas please! As well as a number 6, extra dip on the side.]
"No problem, anything else?"
There was another noise, and going by the muttered noise of the first speaker the passenger must have leaned over. Sure enough, a new voice came through, and a bit louder at that. [Two number forty-five's, extra cheese, and make one of the nine's a large. Sorry about that.]
"No problem." Taking a moment to edit and add to the order, it was looking to be quite the sizeable bill. Made you wonder if it was a minivan full of kids or even a couple taking food orders for friends back home during a party. "Okay...anything else?" Hearing a negative in reply, the tax and sub-total were all added up. "Okay that will be forty-three seventy two. Please pull around to the next window."
Turning back to the soda machine, they began working on the order when there was a sudden and very quick * ding ding! * again in their ears. "Hello there and how may I help you today?"
Silence.
Frowning, and recalling how fast it was, the operated finally looked up at the camera feed but saw no car in the drive-thru. Was the sensor acting up? Not their job to worry about at least. Five minutes later, after grabbing the huge order they finally bundled and bagged it all up and began carting it over to the window. Where instead of a car there seemed to be...a blue wolf at the window?
"Excuse me sir, it's dangerous to stand at the drive-thru window. Please go inside if you have any questions." They said as they put down the first large bag. Checking to see if they left, they were surprised when instead the wolf pulled out several bills and placed them on the window sill.
"Um...I'm actually here to pay for my order." He said quietly, and the voice was indeed the familiar one from the headset a few minutes ago.
"You're not supposed to get out of your car, sir."
"I know! But, well, I needed to get down just to reach the window. She's a bit too tall to do the order herself."
She? Too tall? Blinking, they finally looked past the wolf to see where their car might be. Only to find two enormous yellow pillars and a strange underbody covered in dark plating hovering far above the window's top. Then they leaned out further, and gawked.
Chuckling, Arachni smiled behind her faceplate as the cashier began babbling and freaking out. "Hehehe, told ya he would be surprised little wuff." She called down to her companion and rider. The little wuff unable to reply, as they tried to reassure the poor fast food worker that she was friendly and, actually, could you add a soda to the order too, a large please?
Tips and Tricks for Macros
1. Always have a designated tiny to help you out! Not every building can fit you after all, and lowering down enough can cause problems too!
A 'tiers of size' drive with wuff visiting different characters from
jsk244 (a.k.a. Heartsong / Logan) and getting helpful pointers of big'n'smol interactions at different scales!
Support will be going towards helping
jsk244 with paying for car repairs.
