Alfonso and Gabriela look to be a happy and loving couple here, Rayan cheerful and ready for adventure, Tyr somewhat stoic and cautious, Tial somewhat reserved and holding back. Personality wise I imagine they're much the same as the regular Matactl's, basically good people if maybe looking a little sinister and scary as shadow people.
Though of course we might look just as sinister and frightening to shadow people and maybe they'd think of us as being malevolent entities.
