yep, its the 6 year anniversary for my magpie and my first official fursona scooter! i first drew scooter on, well, march 4th, but i didnt make my first picture of him public until the 25th, so i dont know, i guess being late by two days isnt that bad. plus i tried to make this kinda special to make up for it. some of the photographs even cameo some of my other sonas, including twiddle, putt, and also my sparrow and axolotl too!
the sparrows inclusion specifically was done by the whims of a picker wheel, since i wasnt sure whether to draw neali, yo-yo, sparrow, or even frainty. feels like a callback to one of my earliest deviantart submissions
originally the photos with my other OCs were just the pictures of the actual child and the men from the original google maps picture. i decided to post the original on my bluesky if you want to check it out
even more originally, this picture was just going to have a plain background, but i decided that maybe id be able to squeeze in something simple before id be late by a second day, i guess i didnt realise that this one wasnt that simple. its OK though, i like this picture
this art takes place in berlin, germany in a place called MarcAnns Café. i decided to make the background based on germany because scooter is based on myself from 4–6 years ago, and at the time i really liked and wanted to go to germany specifically
