This piano solo of mine is a take on the theme tune to the game show "Greed," albeit the American original version. (I had done the British version's theme prior to this one.) The show was later renamed "Greed: The Series," and attempted to capitalize on the popularity of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?", even going as far as to double the top prize to $2 million. The last five episodes of the show, "Super Greed," doubled it again to a whopping $4 million. Only one person ever went for the top prize, and he was wrong, I'm sorry to say. One wrong answer on this show meant you were bankrupt; there were no safety nets.

Due to the poor ratings performance of another game show on FOX entitled "It's Your Chance of a Lifetime," the network abruptly cancelled BOTH game shows. That was a mistake! If your show is doing well, it should keep going! (That's my opinion, anyways.)

I also did this in memory of the host, Chuck Woolery, who died last year at the age of 83.
