I still have to play the games so I went for the one that I found more refs x3
I also wasn't sure if the other one was his brother but after a bit I was told it's a bit after the first game

If there's any suggestion I can make if you were get into the game, the original PS1 version of Klonoa 1 is absolutely my go-to (emulated ofc since goodness it's costly).
It's short and fun, great for if you're looking a new game to simply finish; it's what I picked up when I was dealing with a burnout with modern tetris. xP

There's also remakes, one of which is accessible on steam. But for the first game specifically, the PS1 version just has an unmatched old-school charm with its art direction. ^^

Yeyee, I think playing both games is still a very decent choice for the remake you find on Steam. But I do encourage trying out the PS1 version for Door To Phantomile if it's feasible for your PC to emulate >v<
