there really isn't any consistency as far as i can tell, white right now means prey speak, green means "slower" more pred speak. but a few pages back when the wolves are talking its white speak, at on page 73, when hemlock and sprig first let rask up from the water, green means prey and white mean pred speech
in the next few pages we will see oren and the prey speaking in green and rask and the wolf in red
i really don't see ANY connection between color other than its "differentiating" speech

First off, don't spoil things for people who aren't on patreon.
Green means that there are predators in the scene that cannot understand what is being said. It's fast speak that sounds like squeaks and chitters to predators.
Red means there are prey in the scene that cannot understand what is being said. It's slow speak that just sounds like growls to the prey.
Colors are only used when it needs to be pointed out that someone in a scene cannot understand what is being said. It's used when the implied miscommunication is important for the plot line, and where it's otherwise not stated that they can't understand.

Oren does not like any kind of big change to the power structure. Loosing Hemlock was a huge blow as she was literally his rabbide guard dog to protect the Hollow. But he got Rask in exchange, a true predator that thinks like one and thus is even better suited (and pretty easy to contain with having lost all and even killing his own dad to protect the rest).
Swift may be an upgrade to Rask, but also not invited by him to the den so he can not claim that as his move to make it safer like with Rask.

Ok, so Rask and the Prey were chittering the whole time during this conversation, as in the last 2 panels we see the prey chitter color back as Swift is now close enough to be also in the conversation.
It is especially nice to see that Rask is now fully fluent in prey speak so that is why we never saw the red/green anymore and not just Oren and the other prey forcing themsleves to speak slower when Rask is nearby.
Of course next up will be pred speak of Swift to Rask asking what this is as a pred chittering is 100% even stranger than a bunny/hare being able to ill a wolf.
