As some of you may already know, I've gotten a job recently with the up and coming furry based video game developing company
genfurstudios as a voice actor and concept artist. If you don't know, you do now! :D
I was asked to voice a villainous character: a female opossum with a Latina accent. Later, I was asked to try and concept a look for her. This is what I came up with and they were pleased with the result... and so am I. C:
This is Milagros, the opossum character I will be making an appearance as.

Thank you :D And yeah, same here. When I got the job I about geeked out. xD I've voice acted before and enjoy doing monologues, so... should be a piece of cake for me. XD
Also, totally. I need help refining my accent. XD We should Skype sometime and you can train me a bit in TEH SPANGLISH.

I can teach you accents and pronounciation. Spanish is a bit of a strange language in that it requires stress or omition of different syllables in the same word. A lot of our phrases and words also have double, or even triple meanings: most of those being insults. It's a straight forward and often harsh language, but it's pretty easy to pronounce compared to a lot of others, even fake ((Look at all the celebs that do it)) so it shouldn't be all that hard!
Also, you've done monologue work? That's freaking awesome! I prefer straight up dialogue exchange though, IE In character speaking. My voice is a bit too light for heavy narration or deep thought, so I prefer in-character speaking. I can't wait to hear your voice in a game though, it's really perky, but mellow at the same time: so I can imagine hearing it for a looooooong while without getting irritated, and when it comes to voice acting in media such as games and movies, that's one of the best qualities you can have.

Yeah, French is the same way, except French is smoother and not as accented as much. XD Also I've heard French and Spanish are somewhat similar, so some words sound close... might be easier to learn than I think, haha. xD Thanks again for offering. For now, though, this monster needs sleep. =n=;;
Yep!! I LOVE monologues. I just need quite a bit of time to practice before I can execute them. I BLEW my English teacher away with Johann von Goerthe's [Begin It Now] bit, which we had to do as an assignment, and she said in her 50 years of teaching she'd never heard someone say it with so much emotion and power. xD Ever since then I knew I had a voice that could be cut out for stuff like that. But like I said, I need practice beforehand... I can't just do things on a dime. XD;;; That's my ONE major downfall.
And thank you. XD I dislike my voice though.... funnily enough. XD;;;
