The year 2000 such positive looks back then. The USSR had fallen apart and made into a federation and had more or less behaved it's self. The internet was odd wild west for nerds. Organizations like KKK, Nazi's, racial supremacists where publicly despised by all. Globalization and global unity was on the rise and while the middle east and other less developed areas of the world had its issues they mainly stayed contained to the region of origin. The globe had the climate change on the horizon but the majority agreed the new things like solar farms and other up coming green tech would be solution. Vaccines where happily taken when made and offered. Who could have known that in a years time a power grab by the oligarchs would starting pistol for the world getting dragged into a grim future.
