Can't say I've ever played any FF games

This looks like a subspecies of Akantor and Ukanlos off of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Therefore, I love it!

Really? It's as easy as 1-2-3: Hunt, Collect resources monster parts and build better armor and weapons for your next big conquest! As far as stories go--no, I don't even understand it either, as there is not much of a story to it. I just love the games because of how frustrated I get at them; I never get frustrated or plan ahead with any game except for Monster Hunter. MH keeps me on my toes and at wit's end. Such a genius game, IMO...
