Ten years later…
February 2nd, 1524
♫The Little Mermaid (2023) - Triton’s Kingdom♫
At the Mermaid Café, Aurora’s looking at the crystal ball and looking at the image of Aqua’s past after ten years ago.
“Ah…” Aurora sighed. “It’s been ten years since Aqua’s first visit to Fish-Man Island and giving her signature to Queen Otohime who’s dreaming of having her people emigrate from the seafloor to the surface and worked so hard to work on a peace and union of three species.”
“Unfortunately, she was assassinated by Hody Jones, who will keep expressing revenge and hatred against mankind just like Arlong did. Otohime’s death impact not just happened on Fish-Man Island, but it happened to Atlantis, even Aqua’s heart.” Aurora continues.
“Brokenhearted and depressed, Aqua cries on her bed until her father, Ryujin, comforts her after telling her about Hody killing her thanks to Princess Shirahoshi’s letter after her pet Megalo saw everything. She begged us that we shall not get angry or hold a grudge against Hody because she held a promise from her mother.” Aurora said.
“Oh, it may be hard on us, but we shall not break Queen Otohime’s dream, and Atlanteans will support her dream no matter how long it will take.” Aurora said.
Then the Crystal Ball glows, and shows the group of pirates who are standing against Hody Jones.
“Well, now… What’s this?” Aurora wondered and saw the pictures of a man who wears a straw hat who leads his crew - The Straw Hat Pirates.
“The Straw Hat Pirates? And… Monkey D. Luffy?” Aurora asked. “They’re standing up against Hody Jones and putting an end to his vengeful scheme? And the former Warlord Jimbei and Princess Shirahoshi are with them?”
“If they do… Then there’s a new hope emerging at Fish-Man Island; maybe the people will change their views to humans once more, and hopefully maybe they will continue to sign in the signatures for Otohime’s donation.” Aurora said as she smiled.

“And now…” Aurora said as the picture of Aqua as she grows into adulthood. “Aqua is now 18 years old, and maybe someday… she finds a special gift that makes her body transform into something… regal.”
Two days later…
February 4th, 1524
At the Atlantis Palace, Raki swims around the castle looking for Aqua. And he looked a bit worried.
“Oh, I can’t believe Aqua’s gone again. I thought she’s going out of town again. I mean, she always asked her parents to go out to town all by herself.” Raki sighed.
Raki lands down on the floor, jitters down the palace halls, mumbling to himself.
“Oh, I think I’m getting too old for this. I should be writing poetries, not looking for some cute, but enthusiastic and adventurous teenager.” Raki complained.
“I know she’s 18 years old, and no longer a child, but she does anything, she needs to tell her father first.” Raki said as he heard Ryujin grunts from the palace gym.
Raki swims to the gym room, and gasps silently in surprise.
King Ryujin, who is now 43 years old, was busy with his training regimen, as usual. He is busy doing push-ups… with a 5-ton weight on his back.
“69,995… 69,996… 69,997… 69,998… 69,999… NGGGGGN… 70,000!” Ryujin grunts before he puts the 5-ton weight on the floor, and sits up and breathes slowly.
“Wow… I think he is going to break the record of over 100,000 push-ups with 5-ton weights when he keeps doing his push-up training.” Raki whispered, amazed.
“Oh, yeah… Much better.” Ryujin said as he flexed his arms. “Nothing better than a morning exercise after breakfast.”
Ryujin notices Raki, who was amazed to see him break the record of over 70,000 push-ups. Then he coughs to compose himself. “Ahem, come in, Raki.”
“Your Majesty, I was looking for Aqua all over the castle. She’s not around this morning. She shouldn’t go outside the castle alone without asking you her permission.” Raki said, worriedly.
“Don’t worry, Raki. She already asked me since I’m taking a break when I am doing 35,000 push-ups.” Ryujin said as he cleaned his face with his towel.
“She did?” Raki asked, then sighed in relief. “That’s good. I was about to ask her how to exercise with Haki. I am no expert, but I believe you do, Your Majesty.”
“Maybe we shall do that days later. I need to keep going with my daily training routine. I need to keep my usual shape.” Ryujin said.
“Your shape already looks better. I mean you’re still a muscular merman already.” Raki said.
“Yeah, I know. But I am doing this because I need to get stronger to protect my kingdom.” Ryujin said.
“Well, so is Aqua, for your information. Now where did she go after you granted her permission? The town again?” Raki asked.
“Oh, she and Coral are exploring the wilderness outside the kingdom to discover the treasure. A few days ago, I promised her to explore the reef, ship graveyards and even the caves.” Ryujin said.

“Oh, yeah. That’s good to hear. Now when she’s old enough, she can finally swim outside the kingdom to…” Raki sighs again. Then he stopped talking, as his eyes widened and looked at the camera in shock, and then gasped worriedly. “WHAT?!”
Meanwhile, in a landscape of coral and seaweed, Aqua, who is now 18 years old, swims over it.
She has grown larger, just smaller than her mother, and as big as an average human.
Aqua has appeared more feminine since 10 years ago; from her child age to her adult age. Her tail has become longer and slimmer, her dorsal fin is now larger and curvier, and her hair has grown longer to reach her waist.
Right now, Aqua’s exploring to find the treasure, and this is her first time.
She sped over the ocean floor, gently slipping her flipper tail, until she stopped by the rock and gasped silently while smiling for what she'd found.
And then Coral, 18 years old, shows up; she has also grown and was big as a house cat, and she’s still cute since her child age.
“Hey, Aqua! Sorry I was late, I just stumped a sea turtle and I apologized to her. Did you find something?” Coral said as she stood on the rock besides Aqua’s face.
“Yes, and there it is. The crystal cave.” Aqua said as she pointed at the huge cave with glowing crystals, then asked. “Isn't it fantastic?”
“Wow… Not just fantastic. It’s beautiful. See those crystals? They glow.” Coral coos, then gets excited while smiles playfully. “I’ll race you!”
Coral begins to swim ahead to the cave, but Aqua yanks her tail towards her.
“Not so fast, Coral. We have to stick together this time. My father says that if I’m going out to explore then you shall swim with me. Therefore, this is not a time to play around. We’re on our mission to find the treasure as my explorers requested.” Aqua scolded slightly as she swam towards the crystal cave as Coral followed after her.
“Ugh, seriously? Not to disrespect your father, but I think sometimes his restriction of exploration conditions is not so fun. I mean there’s nothing dangerous out here. Just excitement, adventure, danger lurking around every corner of the coral reef.” Coral groaned as they got closer to the cave.
“I think you’re taking this mission too seriously-” Coral said.
“You're not getting cold fins now, are you?” Aqua chuckles. “My father says that because this is my first time ever. Until I can swim alone out here for maybe over a week, I need to keep training my battle skills at Kung Fu Dugong Training Gym.”
“Oh, right. You’ve also trained your speed skills with Sailfish Speed training routines, and survival skills with your bodyguards.” Coral said. “And I don’t think there are dangerous creatures out here.”
“Well, it could happen when we bump into predators or giant sea monsters like sharks, giant octopus, sea serpents, or worse… Neptunians.” Aqua said.
“Neptunians? You mean, the Sea Kings? They are huge, carnivorous monsters that inhabit all the world's oceans. And you mean we’re going to face one of them?!” Coral gasped.
“Yes, but it could happen, so that is why we have to be extra careful.” Aqua said as she entered the cave.
“Right…” Coral nodded and swam after Aqua.
They didn’t even notice that a large serpentine-like body swam above the cave.
For now, Aqua and Coral swam through the cave and looked at the crystals.
“Wow, déjà vu, huh? We’ve seen these crystals back at the tunnel when we’re heading to Fish-Man Island.” Coral gasped as she saw a reflection on the crystal which is big as Aqua.
Coral noticed one of her feathery gills looked messy, so she picked up her comb from her small bag and started to comb her gill. Afterward, she stopped combing her gill like it was her hair.
“There… Much better.” Coral sighed as the small seaweed accidentally tickled her nose.
“Ah… Aah… Aaah… AAATCHO!!” Coral sneezed and rocketed backward and crashed into a rock pillar, causing rocks beams to fall down.
“AAAH! MECHOKKU!!” Coral screamed and swam frantically away, knocking over Aqua.
“Oh, are you okay?” Aqua asked as Coral breathed deep and slowly.
“Yeah, just about. I'm just sneezing, that’s all. That seaweed tickles my nose sometimes.” Coral replied.
“Well, maybe it has the pollen.” Aqua chuckles as they keep swimming.
They’ve almost arrived at the large room with a small hole in the roof. But at the middle of the opening, there’s a sunken ship with lots of coins, and there’s a treasure chest.
“Jackpot! We’ve found it!” Aqua exclaimed as she swam towards the treasure chest. “Looks like this is a pirate ship. Must be taken down by Marine soldiers.”
“Hmm, yeah. Those pirates are so unlucky. But look at these bellies! Lots of them!” Coral said as she’s looking at lots of belly coins, and she got a dollar sign on her eyes.
And Aqua opened the unlocked treasure chest, and saw a necklace with a green pearl. “Wow, it's pretty. Hey, Coral! There’s not just more Berries in this chest, but there’s a beautiful green pearl necklace.”
“Really? Let me see it!” Coral said as she swam to Aqua and saw the necklace. “Wow… Yes, it is pretty.”
“It looks familiar to my mother’s necklace. I wonder what it is.” Aqua wondered.
“I don't know. But I bet your mother knows.” Coral said, as she and Aqua, who put the necklace in her bag, were distracted by the pearl, a large serpentine swamp above the hole.
Aqua picks up an underwater camera, and takes photos of the belly coins and the pirate ship. “I’ve gotta take the pictures and show them to my father. He needs to see this!”
“Isn’t that exciting as your first exploration?” Coral asked.
“It is! As soon as I've taken the pictures, we’d better head back to Atlantis. I can’t wait to show the pictures and the necklace to my parents.” Aqua said, excitedly.

Suddenly, a giant sea serpent, 15 meters long, breaks through the hole and swims towards Aqua and Coral.
“AAH! SEA SERPENT!! SWIM, AQUA, SWIM!!” Coral screamed as she and Aqua swam away as the sea serpent banged to the wall.
It's chasing Aqua and Coral around the cave, and they swim to the exit as fast as they can.
But as they reached the exit, a sea serpent broke the rock wall as Coral screamed. And it was too close for a young axolotl to be eaten, but lucky for her, she already swam out of the monster’s mouth before it snapped its jaw.
Aqua and Coral swam back to the large room as the sea serpent chomped towards them. They both swam upwards to the huge hole on the roof.
“Quick! This way!” Aqua shouted as they swam through the hole and swam outside, but the sea serpent was still in pursuit after them.
Coral screams as the sea serpent keeps chasing across the reef, until Aqua spots a giant solid anchor-shaped rock.
She got an idea, she grabbed Coral’s arm and shouted. “Hold on tight!”
They swam to the anchor-shaped rock which is double times bigger than a sea serpent, and swam through the ring. The sea serpent races towards them, but his head gets stuck in the ring of an anchor.
“Ha! Don’t mess with the Mermaid Princess!” Coral teased and blew a raspberry.
The sea serpent roared frustrated at Coral who was scared and swam to Aqua who is now heading back to Atlantis.
“MECHOKKU!!” Coral cried, terrified.
“Phew, let's hurry before the sea serpent escapes.” Aqua said.
“Yeah, and hasty.” Coral said.
Not too long before the sea serpent came out of the ring, and snorted in frustration after losing its prey and swam away.
♫Mufasa: The Lion King - Home♫
A bit later, in the throne room, King Ryujin sat down with Athena who sat in their throne chairs, and they both were relieved that their daughter is still okay after she was chased by a sea serpent.
Coral nuzzles Athena’s cheek after she was a bit scared since her first journey with Aqua.
“I’m so relieved that you came back safe and sound, Aqua.” Ryujin said.
“Thanks, father. The sea serpent is out of the blue. I didn’t know I was stalked by a giant hungry creature.” Aqua said.
“But I am glad you with your speed training with Sailfish Champions paid off, plus you use your head to outsmart the sea monster. You’re a brave mermaid. But right now, you’ll take a break from your exploration for today. You need to rest.” Ryujin said.
“Okay, father. It’s good to be home, though.” Aqua said.
“Really, young lady! You make me worried sick!” Raki scolded. “I was about to tell you to train with Kung Fu Dugongs to exercise your battle skills!”
“Yeah, about that. Sorry. I haven’t started my battle lessons yet.” Aqua said.
“Now, now, Raki. She hasn't started that training lesson yet. Have patience.” Ryujin said.
“Sorry, Your Majesty.” Raki apologized.
“So, my little angel, what did you find today?” Athena asked.
“Well, I just found the cave with crystals, far south from here, as father requested, and I found a large room with a sunken pirate ship. And there is a lot of treasure on the seafloor. Lots of bellies. I believed the ship was taken down by Marine soldiers.” Aqua explained.
“And I’ve taken the pictures from my camera. Look.” Aqua said as she gave the pictures to Ryujin.
The sea king examined the pictures of the treasure and the pirate ship.
“Hmmm…” Ryujin hummed. “It appears that the pirate ship has sunk into the cave. Well, I don’t think that’s the Marines’ work, Aqua. A sea monster caused those holes on the ship. I believed it was the same sea serpent that chased you.”
“Geez, man. I was about to think the same thing as the Marines. But then again, I was wrong.” Raki shrugged.
“So that’s what that huge serpent who did that to the pirate humans.” Coral gasped.
“Unfortunately, yes. I guess there are weak Devil Fruit users who have no chance against it.” Athena said.
“Mother, father! There’s more than the bellies and the ship! Look what we found!” Aqua said as she picked up the necklace from her bag.
“Is this a necklace?” Ryujin asked.
“Yes, this necklace with a green pearl. And it looks similar to Athena’s.” Coral said.
“This pearl… I think that’s…” Athena muttered, then gasped and she smiled widely. “Oh, by the Gods…! I thought there’s only one. And now there’s another one.”
“Incredible. It's very rare that there’s another same pearl you’re wearing, my love.” Ryujin said, amazed.
“What? What is it?” Aqua asked.

“Aqua… There’s something you need to listen carefully. This is the pearl that has the power that can change your body permanently, the Regal Pearl.” Athena said.
“A Regal Pearl? You mean, this is the same pearl you’re wearing, mother?” Aqua asked.
“Yes, as you can see, a Regal Pearl can make only mermaids from their regular skinny figures with flat chests to their curvaceous hips and big breasts.” Athena replied.
“Wait, what? It will?” Coral asked.
“Yes.” Athena replied.
“You mean it happened to you… something like this?” Aqua asked.
“Exactly. As you can see, I wore this necklace with the same pearl when I’m 22 years old before my marriage with your father.” Athena asked.
“Yeah, I was surprised as that happened first, but then I fell in love with her new body.” Ryujin said while blushing as Aqua’s eyes widened in surprise.
“I have no idea…” Aqua muttered as she looked down at the necklace with a Regal Pearl, and wondered. “Will this Regal Pearl necklace happen to me the same thing to when I wear this?”
“Yeah, I believe it can happen to you too if you wear it.” Ryujin replied.
Aqua stares, mouth wide open. She bows her head, unsurely. “If it happened… Will my body never transform back to like this?” She asked.
“No, Aqua. It will stay curvaceous forever.” Athena replied as Aqua sighed mournfully as she looked up at her mother and father.
“Would you give me a time before I wear this necklace?” Aqua asked.
“Sure, take your time before you make your decision.” Ryujin nodded as Aqua turned around and swam headed to her room while Coral followed her.
“Poor princess… I don’t think she’s ready to wear the necklace yet.” Raki said.

“Oh, dear…” Athena sighed as Ryujin swam towards her, picking up her chin and looking at his eye.
“Athena, darling… we knew this day would come.” Ryujin said as Athena held his hand with her both hands.
“Oh, Ryu. You're right. It's time I trusted her with the truth.” Athena said.
Meanwhile in her room, Aqua looked at her reflection on her mirror while looking at her body, while spun slowly around if she’s ready to wear the Regal Pearl necklace which she put on her table.
“It’s okay, Aqua. I know you’re unsure about wearing this necklace, but I am sure you’re going to love your new regal form.” Coral said as Aqua lowers her head once more, and sits down on her bed and puts her hands on cheeks.
“Coral. I don’t want to argue with my parents, but it’s just… If I wear this necklace, and I turn into my curvy form, and it’s just… I don’t feel like myself anymore.” Aqua sighed.
“What do you mean?” Coral asked.
“I am not sure if I wear this just like my mother, and have an hourglass shaped body. I mean what if Princess Shirahoshi saw me like this. She thinks I look like a different person. What if she doesn’t recognize me?” Aqua asked worriedly, but honestly.
“Aqua…” Coral whispered.
“I believed she always recognized you, my dear.” A voice from Athena makes Aqua a bit surprised to see her entering her room.
“Mother…” Aqua muttered, surprised as Athena swam slowly towards Aqua, and sat beside her. “I guess you’ve heard what I said, hmm?”
“Yeah, I did.” Athena replied. “You see, when I first wore the necklace, I was so nervous that I thought everyone thought I looked like a different person for the first time. But then, as soon as they recognized me, except with a large bosom and pleasing curves, I felt relieved.”
“Wait… You think?” Aqua asked, surprised.
“Yes, even your father already recognizes my new body. This Regal Pearl is not just a gift of the Gods, themselves. It’s a gift of evolution.” Athena said.
“A gift of… evolution?” Aqua asked.
“Yes…” Athena replied as she clasped her daughter’s hands and slowly lifted them up. “Even though your body has changed into your permanent regal form, it doesn’t mean everyone thinks you're a different person.”

“And I am sure Princess Shirahoshi, her brothers and her father, Neptune, even the people of Fish-Man Island will recognize you.” Athena assured as Aqua looked in awe at her mother, then looked curiously at the necklace.
“Do you think… I can still be the same princess as I am now? Even if I wear this Regal Pearl necklace?” Aqua asked.
“Of course. You’re still the same Aqua we know and love.” Athena said as Aqua smiles at her mother and wrapped her arms around her and pulled her into a hug.
“Thank you, mom. I love you.” Aqua whispered as Athena smiled and hugged her back.
Coral just lays her belly on Aqua’s bed and wags her tail happily and smiles at the mother and daughter moment. Aqua and Athena pulled away and looked at each other.
“It is time.” Athena said as Aqua nodded, and grabbed the necklace.
A bit later, in the throne room…
“I’m glad mother helped you a bit, Aqua.” Ryujin said.
“Yes, father. She taught me that the people will always recognize me when I wear this Regal Pearl necklace. No matter what I look, no matter how bustier I am… I will always be the Mermaid Princess of Atlantis, and your daughter…” Aqua said.
“Very well… Now wear the necklace and brace yourself for a new stage of an evolution.” Ryujin said as Aqua nodded.
Aqua slowly puts the necklace around her neck and looks at the pearl for a few seconds. And then the pearl glows neon blue.
“Wow… So pretty…” Aqua whispered, in awe.
And then the next moment, Aqua suddenly gasped as her body glowed neon blue. Then, she started moaning in slight pain and covered her face as she felt herself growing slightly taller.
Her chest and hips getting bigger to reach Athena’s bust and hips sizes. Soon, the glowing stopped, and Aqua looked at her large chest and hips.
Athena and Ryujin were surprised at first that it worked on their daughter, but then they smiled at her new regal form.
“Wow… Look at that.” Raki gasped, amazed. “It really worked.”
“Oooh…!” Coral gasped, amazed, then smiled. “Aqua, you looked beautiful…!”
“She has finally ascended to her regal form.” Athena said.
The royal guards looked amazed, and were happy to see her become more beautiful as she looked.
“Well, Aqua? How do you feel?” Ryujin asked.
“I feel… a bit bigger, and… I’ve got a curvy hips…” Aqua answered as she looked at her body again, then felt her hips.
“And my… big breasts…” Aqua continues as she carefully rubs her large breasts, and they are not… so heavy.
Besides that they feel like pillows or airbags, they feel so tender.
“Well, this is kind of nostalgic, isn’t it, Athena? Just like your first reaction when it happened to you for the first time.” Ryujin said.
“Oh, Ryujin.” Athena giggled.
“Are you okay, Aqua?” Coral asked.
“I… I… I love it!” Aqua cried happily as she spun around and then swam around the throne room. “This feels great! I REALLY LOVE IT!!”
Even with her chest size, it doesn't slow her speed down. But what makes Aqua even more happy is that her Royal Guards already recognized her face and cheered for her. And then she swam towards her mother and hugged her while her large breasts squished Athena’s.
“Oh, mother! You were so right all the time! Thank you so much!” Aqua cried.
“I’m so happy that you’re getting used to being a regal mermaid, sweetheart.” Athena said as she hugged her back while not minding when Aqua’s breasts squished against hers.
“Yeah…” Aqua nodded before breaking her hug from her mother and looked at Ryujin “Daddy, I…”
“Yes, my child. You look even more beautiful as you are now. But despite your new body shape, you’re still the same Aqua I always know and love.” Ryujin said as he held up her chin and looked at her eyes.
Hearing that makes Aqua happy, and hold her father’s hand and put it into her cheek to gently nuzzle it and coos. “Thanks, father… After hearing you give me the courage, I’ve finally chosen my new path to become my regal form.”
“You’re welcome, my young Mermaid Princess…” Ryujin said as she pulled her into a hug which Aqua hugs him back.
To Aqua, her future is getting brighter than a sun or a moon, but soon her hope will get brighter too.
February 6th, 1524
Four days later, in her bedroom, Aqua was resting on her bed and sleeping after having a long expedition in the coral reef. Coral’s sleeping on Aqua’s large bosoms.
Aqua is already getting used to her new regal form, and she doesn’t look bothered to have her breasts and hips that large.
She’s sleeping on her bed almost 45 minutes before she heard a gentle knock on her door, and woke up, while sitting on her bed. Coral already woke up so she leaped into the other side of the bed, and stretched her legs like a cat.
“Yes?” Aqua yawned and stretched her arms. “Who’s there?”
“It’s Raki. I have good news from your father.” Raki called.
“Really?” Aqua moaned as she rubs her eyes. “What is it?”
“The letter is from King Neptune, himself. He says Hody Jones is defeated by the captain of Straw Hat Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy. And Vander Decken is arrested along with Hody in the prison.” Raki announced.
♫One Piece OST Wanokuni - We Are! Reconciliation Ver.♫
Aqua gasped slightly, while her eyes widened in joy, then hugged Coral, and shouted. “Yes, yes, yes! Take me to my father!”
“Mmmph! You squish me…!” Coral mumbled, muffled.
At the throne room, Ryujin was likewise overjoyed while reading Neptune’s letter about the Straw Hats fighting back the New Fishman Pirates during the coup.
And in the meantime Vander Decken IX almost destroys Fishman Island by using his powers on the Ark Noah. But thanks to Shirahoshi's powers as Poseidon, she is able to stop Noah and save the island after she summons the Sea Kings.
With Hody’s coup foiled, Luffy becomes the savior of Fishman Island.
“...And thus, after Luffy and his crew leave our country as they are heading to the New World, we will never EVER forget the debt we owe, jamon. And hopefully, we’ll see them someday. Signed, your old friend, King Neptune.” Ryujin read.
“Oh, I’m so glad the Straw Hat Crew saved the Fish-Man Island, and reset the history to zero.” Raki said.
“And I’m very shocked that Hody is kind of an empty shell; he feels nothing, but only pitiful revenge against humans even if they did nothing to him.” Athena said as she crossed her arms and shook her head, disappointedly.
“Yes, but now Hody is now locked behind the bars with Decken, this is the ‘nothing’ from which our friends start anew for Otohime’s sake.” Ryujin said.
“And now they can continue to send their signatures for Otohime’s donation.” Raki said.
“Father… If Vander Decken is arrested with Hody… Does that mean Shirahoshi is free now?” Aqua asked.
“Yes, Aqua. She finally is no longer locked in her room for her safety. She’s finally free.”
Ryujin replied as Aqua grins widely while the tears formed in her eyes.
“Oh, thank God… Shirahoshi…” Aqua sighed tearfully, while closing her eyes and looking down, yet smiling wistfully.
“And Aqua… There’s more… “P.S. I know Shirahoshi wants to see your daughter, but in a few days, we’re heading to Reverie, a council formed by the World Government, because this upcoming meeting… is the greatest desire of our late queen, Otohime. So, I’ve put the photo on her if you want to see her, jamon”.” Athena read, as she picked up a photo of Shirahoshi to her daughter.
Aqua’s eyes widened in surprise and blushed; she noticed Shirahoshi had grown larger and looked a bit different from before.
Despite her size, she has grown beautiful; a gigantic mermaid, at least 55 ft in height, even bigger than Neptune himself. She has long, strawberry-blonde hair with a fish-shaped hair-grip. Her bosom is quite large, and most of her upper body is exposed. Her broadly striped tail ends in a ruffle around her waist, and her cheeks are a faint pink.
She wears a cleavage-bearing yellow halter top covered in pearls with a strap that widens and sticks out at the back of her neck. She also wears a pair of clam earrings and a belly chain around her waist with a cloth hanging down in front.
In other words, Shirahoshi has changed into a beautiful, young Mermaid Princess and has grown to 16 years old. But size doesn’t matter to Aqua; she’s really happy to see her friend again.
“Shirahoshi…” Aqua whispered wistfully.
Then she swam off slowly to leave the throne room and head to her room.
“Shouldn’t you go with her, Coral?” Raki asked.
“No… Just give her an alone moment… She was happy to see that Shirahoshi is okay, and…” Coral replied, then she halted, and wondered. “Has she changed?”
“Do you think someday Aqua will see Shirahoshi someday, my love?” Athena asked.
“Yeah, maybe not this month or this year, but maybe someday… I’ve got a feeling they will see each other again. And maybe… They’ve become more than friends as Otohime and I talked ten years ago.” Ryujin replied while smiling.
At her room, Aqua put the photo of Shirahoshi on her picture frame on her table beside her bed, then she lays down while smiling at her and sighed.
“Princess Shirahoshi… I know it’s been short-lived for your freedom for a while, and I wish I could join you in the Reverie, but… I have a kingdom to protect because this is my responsibility. So I have to stay here for now… But at least I can see your face again…” Aqua said.
While she’s looking at Shirahoshi’s face, Aqua realizes she’s somehow left enamored…
“Oh… She’s so beautiful…” Aqua sighed.
♫The Little Mermaid (2023) - Part of Your World (Reprise) (0:00 to 1:03)♫
Maybe Coral’s right… Maybe Aqua really is in love with Shirahoshi… Despite being a mermaid, she’s enchanted by Neptune’s daughter’s beauty.
Then Aqua started to hum before letting her enchanted voice vocalize “Ahhh”, and then she started to sing.
Aqua:
♫What would I give to live where you are?
What would I pay to stay here beside you?♫
Aqua slowly sits up on her bed while looking at Shirahoshi.
Aqua:
♫What would I do to see you smiling at me?♫
Aqua started imagining if she could see Shirahoshi who slowly turned to her, and gave her a lovely smile, then she continued to sing.
Aqua:
♫Where would we swim?
Where would we spun?♫
Then she slowly reaches her hand to the sunshine while looking at the sun reflection through her windows.
Aqua:
♫If we could stay all day in the sun?
Just you and me, and I could be
Part of your world♫
Then she let out a soft sigh and looked through the window and started to think about Shirahoshi, and wondered if she’s going to be okay at Reverie.
February 19th, 1524
Days later in Ryugu Kingdom on Fish-Man Island…
“Nooooo~!!” Shirahoshi cried as she hugged Megalo. “I don't wanna go!! Sir Luffy… he promised me he'd take me to the surface!! We would go on a walk again, in a forest!!”
“Yes, yes, Princess, I know,” said the Minister of the Right. “And of course, Sir Luffy and his friends will be able to take you on another stroll, to a much farther place if you so desire, but this trip is only right above us! And just think, your brothers, the Neptune Princes, and the Neptune Royal Army, will be there to protect you from harm!”
“But I…” Shirahoshi whimpered.
“Oh, what a bother,” groaned the Minister of the Left.

“Father,” Ryuboshi began, “what if we let Shirahoshi skip this one, mi-re-do~?”
“Mambo, mambo!” chanted Mamboshi. “If we're going to petition to migrate to Fish-Man Island, then we've got tons of signatures from the citizens!!”
“But if she doesn't come along,” Neptune began, “it would be as if we were saying that we don't trust the humans, jamon.”
“Shirahoshi,” Fukaboshi began, “I know you're nervous, as am I, though I don't show it…”
“Big Brother Fukaboshi…” Shirahoshi murmured.
“But have you learned nothing from watching the Straw Hat Pirates during their stay here?” asked Fukaboshi. “This upcoming meeting...is the greatest desire of our late, Otohime. So...let us go, together.”
A pause...but then a Royal Soldier came into Shirahoshi's room. “Your Majesty! I’ve got a letter from Princess Aqua of Atlantis Kingdom!”
Shirahoshi gasped silently and let go of Megalo.
“From Princess Aqua?” asked Shirahoshi, surprised.
“Yes, it says… Ahem.” The royal soldier nodded, before he cleared his throat and started to read Aqua’s letter.
“Princess Shirahoshi… I wish you and your royal family good luck for your upcoming meeting in Reverie. I also wish I could come with you, but I have a kingdom to look after. When you’ve arrived at Reverie, you have to be strong just like your mother… And someday… I’ve got a feeling that we shall meet again, my friend. Signed, Princess Aqua.” The royal soldier said as everyone was delighted to hear Aqua’s letter.
“Princess Aqua…” Fukaboshi murmured, delightedly.
“She was so happy for us when King Ryujin read your letter, Father.” Ryuboshi said.
“Mm-hmm… I wish I could have invited Ryuchi and his family to join us, but Atlantis is not affiliated to the World Government, so that is why we have to go without them, unfortunately, jamon.” Neptune said.
Despite that, Shirahoshi was happy to hear what Aqua’s letter says to her and her family. And somehow, her tender words somehow make her braver, and she promises Luffy to not cry, so he will not call her 'Wimpyhoshi' again.
She was a bit sad that Aqua can’t see her right now, but she knows that Aqua will meet her again… someday. So, she decided to come with her father and brothers to the Reverie.
“Father? Brothers?” Shirahoshi started.
“Yes?” asked Neptune. “What is it, my dear, jamon?”
“I… I changed my mind!” Shirahoshi exclaimed. “I'm going to the Reverie, as well! I must go, or else Sir Luffy will only call me 'Wimpyhoshi' again!”
“Hohoho!” Neptune laughed, proudly. “I was hoping you'd say that! Let us be off, then!”
Shirahoshi nodded, then as she exited her room, she looked up at the sky.

“Aqua… Thank you for giving me courage to go to the Reverie… I don’t know how long it will take… But someday, I kept my promise that I will see you. So please just wait a longer for me…” Shirahoshi thinks while smiling.
Meanwhile, at Aqua’s room…
Aqua stood at her balcony while looking at the sun reflection on the surface, and sang on the part.
Aqua:

But I know something's starting right now
Watch and you'll see… Someday I'll be…

When Aqua sings the part “Part of your world”, she spreads her arms outwards and closes her eyes and smiles; with vigor and determination, Aqua makes a bold proclamation that she will be a part of Shirahoshi's world.

Then she opened her eyes while still looking at the surface, until she saw two leopard sharks swim slowly and pacing around Aqua, who’s looking at them.
“Oh? Hi there. Where did you come from?” Aqua asked as the two leopard sharks’ spots glowed blue and swam off.
And they stopped by Madame Aurora who smiles at Aqua, and gestures her hand language to come with her. Aqua tilted her head in confusion, but she didn't mind following Aurora.
Aurora smiles softly while leading the young Mermaid Princess outside of Atlantis.
Outside the castle, Ryujin already noticed Aurora led Aqua to swim out the kingdom, however he already knew since Aurora told him to go out with his daughter.
“And there they go…” Ryujin murmured.
A bit later, Aqua had stopped swimming and was now in the middle of the hills of seagrass meadow and flowers, and was about to pick one of them.
She picks a white smelting colored flower, and it reminds her about Shirahoshi. Then she sighed wistfully before Aurora approached her and patted her hand on her shoulder.
“So you’re finally here, princess.” Aurora said.
“Madame Aurora. What are you doing out here? I thought you’re the proprietor of the Mermaid Café and a fortune-teller.” Aqua asked, surprised.
“True, but sometimes I close the café because I need a break.” Aurora said.
“That’s so? So, is there anything you want me to do for you?” Aqua asked.
“I’ve predicted that you’ve found the Regal Pearl that changes your body into the magnificent shape of the queen.” Aurora said as she slowly paced around Aqua.
“Well, I may look like my Mother, but I am a little smaller than her.” Aqua chuckles sheepishly.
“Seems so… And, you’re worried because Shirahoshi doesn’t recognize you because of your new look?” Aurora asked.
Aqua’s expression turns to worry, and bows in remorse, and replies. “Yeah… I just don’t know if she remembers how I look. I mean I didn’t put the photo on my letter to her.”
“Even so, you don't have to be recognized for your hourglass-shaped body. She already recognized your pretty face, beautiful eyes, and most of all… your enchanted voice.” Aurora said as Aqua touched her throat.
“You mean… my singing skills?” Aqua asked. “Do you think…?
“Of course. If you’re singing, plus with your Growth Hairpin, the memories are triggered in Shirahoshi’s mind and then POOF she recognizes you.” Aurora said.
“What do you know?” Aqua gasped, amazed. “Maybe you’re right! Thank you, Aurora! Thank you so much!”
“Oh, it was nothing, really. I’m just giving you some hints.” Aurora said as Aqua turned around and swam back to Atlantis.
“Oh, your hint just gave me hope. And it makes me feel better.” Aqua said before she's swimming off.
“Wait, Your Highness!” Aurora called and Aqua stopped and turned her head to her.
“What’s the matter?” Aqua asked.
“The reason I've led you here is there’s something I’ve got to tell you. You see… Queen Otohime wants to see you.” Aurora said, which made Aqua’s mouth wide open in shock and turned at her.
“What?!” Aqua gasped as Aurora and her leopard sharks swarmed off. Then she chases after them. “Hey, wait!”
She swam across the hills of seagrass meadow, then over the landscape of coral reef, and she stopped by a rock where Aurora sits on, closed her eyes.
“Is Queen Otohime here?” Aqua asked.
“Yes… Somewhere around the ocean.” Aurora replied, monotone.
Aqua bows her head mournfully and sighed. “I hate to tell you this, but she died ten years ago. Hody Jones shots her down with her rifle.”
“Yes… Her body is gone in her grave, but her life spirit lives on.” Aurora said as she opened her eyes.
“It what?!” Aqua questioned, shocked, as Aurora’s leopard sharks rolled back a large rock, revealing an opening to a cave.
“Just follow me to the cave, princess. I’ll show you the way. Come on!” Aurora said as she darts away from Aqua, she stares at him in confusion.
Then Aurora and her leopard sharks swam inside the cave, and Aqua followed to the entrance and looked through the hole. She looks hesitantly over one shoulder, then enters.
Aqua passes through the kelps, then the glowing coral reefs. She watches them amazed.
“Don't dawdle.” Aurora said while she’s in front of Aqua, then called. “Hurry up!”
Aurora races away, while Aqua swims to follow her behind.
“Hey, whoa, wait, wait!” Aqua shouted as she kept swimming through the cave with glowing rocks and reef.
“Move your tail, princess! Faster!” Aurora said as she and her leopard sharks took off again, while Aqua kept swimming after them.
“Would you slow down?” Aqua asked as her tail fin and dorsal fin glows blue which surprises her.
Were they reacting by the bioluminescence which is the production and emission of light by living organisms?
Aqua was not terrified, but amazed as she kept following Aurora.

After a while, they arrived into a large room, which was big as her Father and Mother’s room, but just the walls of the grotto. Then Aqua saw the glow at the next room as Aurora smiled at her, then swam off to the entrance of the room where the light was.
“Look over there.” Aurora whispered as Aqua quietly and carefully swam towards the next room, and it was huge as Neptune’s throne room, but she saw the light orbs. Lots of them glowing neon-blue.
On the floor, there are glowing reefs, on the walls of the grotto, the markings are glowing too.
Aqua gasped in stun, and she remembered those glowing orbs around her. “Are they the Life Spirits? I’ve heard the stories in the library, but I have no idea that they are here.”
“Those life spirits are the people who met their unfortunate end.” Aurora explained. “But even though they are gone, they live in us in spirit, and that is why their stars appear in the midnight sky. To remind us to respect and love one another, no matter how different we may be.”
“Even Queen Otohime? And… my grandfather Raijin, as well?” Aqua asked.
“Yes… They both live in your heart.” Aurora replied as she pointed at Aqua’s heart.

Behind Aqua who is awestruck, several shafts of light shine from one of the Life Spirit orbs and the light forms the ghost of Queen Otohime, who smiles at Aqua.
“Hello, Princess Aqua.” Otohime said as Aqua gasped silently and her eyes widened, turned around and stared at Otohime in awe.
“Queen Otohime?” Aqua asked. “Is it really you?”
“Yes, my dear child. It’s been a long time, isn’t it?” Otohime asked.
“My queen… I’m so relieved that you’re here.” Aqua said while smiling, then showed her pained expression. “I’ve just heard about Hody Jones assassinating you. My parents were about to stop him, but… Shirahoshi wrote a letter to my father that we shall not get angry or hate him because she kept your promise over ten years.”
“I know, Aqua. I’ve been watching Shirahoshi. I was so happy for her being so faithful to keep my last wish since she’s locked in the Shell Tower, all alone. You see, Aqua. I don’t want to let my people hate the humans, and definitely do not teach their children to hate them, too. They will meet them one day, and then they will learn.” Otohime said.
“I understand… I just feel so sorry for her when she watches you die, and-” Aqua said as she showed her remorseful expression, but Otohime gently cut her off.

“Yeah, I know how you feel… You were worried, that’s because you’re bearing a strong love within your heart.” Otohime said as Aqua sighed as she put her hand on her large left chest.
“Don’t worry, my young one. You have to be strong just like your father, and embrace your bright future. And I am sure Shirahoshi feels the same way too.” Otohime said.
“Thanks, Your Majesty.” Aqua said.
And then, besides Otohime, several shafts of light shine from one of the Life Spirit orbs and the light formed the ghost of Aqua’s grandfather, Raijin.
“Aqua.” Raijin said while smiling at his granddaughter who gaped in surprise.
“Oh my God… Are you...?” Aquas gasped.
“Yes, Aqua. I am your grandfather.” Raijin replied.
“Raijin. I've heard a lot about you.” Aqua whispered, loudly.
“And I've been watching you. I see that you’ve found the Regal Pearl that unlocked your regal form. Your shape looks fitting for a queen.” Raijin said.
“Thanks, grandfather.” Aqua said as she’s looking at her hips and chest. “They may look too big, but I already love it since it happened.”
“You do look like your mother, Aqua. But you’re quite beautiful. I am sure Shirahoshi is going to like it too.” Otohime said.
“Thanks.” Aqua said as she bows.
“Anyway, there’s something you need to know about the titans, Aqua.” Raijin said.
“You mean those giant monsters which were banished by my father a long time ago? Something wrong?” Aqua asked.
“They were banished to the darkest pits of Tartarus just because I asked Ryujin my last wish. The titans are the giant gods of this planet, but they were corrupted by rage towards either the humans, Fish-Men, Merfolk and all living things. They want to destroy anything in their path before they want to dominate the whole planet.” Raijin said.
“Yeah, I’ve heard the stories about them. But why do you want to tell me about them just now?” Aqua asked.
“I’m afraid in the future, I’ve got a crimson feeling that someone’s going to find the Titan Key to unlock their prison and release them, and set forth to Atlantis.” Raijin said.
“How awful…” Aqua whispered, horrified and then looked up with her determined expression. “Then it’s up to us to stop whoever's going to release them.”
♫The Lion King (1994) - Remember who you are (5:25 to 7:48)♫
“Yes, but you’re not alone. There’s someone special who can summon the Sea Kings, because she was born with these powers.” Otohime said.
“You mean Shirahoshi? But why?” Aqua asked.
“We’ll talk another day. We need to rest. And I’m so glad to see you, my dear granddaughter.” Raijin said before his body glows.
“Wait, where are you going?” Aqua asked.
“One day, Aqua… Only you and Shirahoshi will stop the titans together.” Otohime said as she and Raijin fades away into the orbs.
“No! Wait! Please, don’t leave me again!” Aqua shouted.
“We never left you...and never will.” Raijin said offscreen.
“Just remember… you are not alone…” Otohime said offscreen as her voice echoed around the cave.
“Remember…” Otohime and Raijin’s voice echoes, quietly.
Aqua stares at the orbs which are still glowing, while having ears in her eyes, then ran through her cheeks. But instead of crying, she let her soft sigh.
After a moment, Aurora approaches from behind Aqua.
“Well, at least you’ll see Queen Otohime and your grandfather, Raijin, the former king of the sea. How do you feel, my young princess?” Aurora said.
“It feels… so good to see them, at least.” Aqua said, thoughtfully. “Still… There’s one thing that makes me curious; why and Shirahoshi are the only ones who can defeat the titans?”
“As you can see… Princess Shirahoshi has the unusual power to communicate with and command the Sea Kings.” Madame Aurora replied.
“What?! She can command these giant creatures?” Aqua asked in shock.
“She is also the current incarnation of the Ancient Weapon Poseidon, after she was named after one of the Twelve Olympians and the Greece god of the sea, water, storms, earthquakes, and horses.” Aurora said.
“Is Shirahoshi… the incarnation of Poseidon?” Aqua asked.
“Yes… Rather than being an inanimate object like usual weapons, Poseidon was a mermaid belonging to the Ryugu Kingdom's royal bloodline.” Aurora replied while explaining about Poseidon.
“After she died, her descendants who possessed the same ability to speak with Sea Kings were granted her name as a Title, known colloquially as the “Mermaid Princess”. Currently, Shirahoshi has inherited Poseidon's power and her name.” Aurora continued.
“Is it too dangerous to control the Sea Kings?” Aqua asked.
“Yes… However, the legends say someday, someone capable of guiding her power to be used for the right purpose will appear, and this will bring about a great change to the world.” Aurora replied.
“So, in other words, the power of love can save a great many when used correctly… and can stop the titans… when the time has come?” Aqua asked.
“Yes, but we are not so sure when it will happen in a few years. But don’t get it over your head, my dear.” Aurora said.
“Don’t worry, I wouldn’t have to think about when it happened. I still have to protect the kingdom, and it’s my responsibility as the Mermaid Princess.” Aqua assured. “And maybe someday, maybe after the meeting at the Reverie, I’ll see Princess Shirahoshi.”
“That’s more I like it. And I’m sure your parents will know someday that you and Shirahoshi will save both kingdoms from the titans.” Aurora said.
“Thank you, Madame Aurora.” Aqua said as she nodded. “I shall remember this day I’ll never forget. Well, I’m off. And thanks for everything!”
Then Aqua swam off to leave the room, and then she left the cave. With her bright smile, she swam towards Atlantis while the "Busa" theme played.
After swimming out of her grotto, Aurora and her leopard sharks looked at her swimming off, but the fortune-teller smiled at the young Mermaid Princess.
“Hail Princess Aqua…” Aurora said as she bows.
Even though it takes a few years before that apocalypse happens, there are other tales of Princess Aqua’s battles and adventures before she met Shirahoshi.

At the beginning of this chapter, Aqua is exploring with her friend, Coral, out in the wilderness to found the treasure.
Then she found the peculiar necklace with a green pearl in the cave with a sunken pirate ship with lots of treasure.
Then she and Coral were chased by a large sea serpent, who is a minor antagonist and have the same role of Glut the Shark from The Little Mermaid. And the giant sea monster ends up getting his head stuck in the ring of an anchor.
After returned to her castle, Athena confirmed the pearl is the "Regal Pearl" which can make only mermaids from their regular skinny figures with flat chests to their curvaceous hips and big breasts.
And after Aqua wears it, her body started to transforms into majestic and gorgeous appearance; her Regal Form. And she looks beautiful just like her mother.

And two days later, she heard wonderful news about Shirahoshi is free after Vander Decken is imprisoned in the Ryugu Kingdom's Prison Tower along with Hody Jones and New Fish-Man Pirate crew, after the events of the end of One Piece Fish-Man Island Arc.
And with vigor and determination, Aqua makes a bold proclamation that she will be a part of Shirahoshi's world.
Then she went to Madame Aurora's grotto to see something amazing... The Spirit Orbs.

Ten years later…
February 2nd, 1524
♫The Little Mermaid (2023) - Triton’s Kingdom♫
At the Mermaid Café, Aurora’s looking at the crystal ball and looking at the image of Aqua’s past after ten years ago.
“Ah…” Aurora sighed. “It’s been ten years since Aqua’s first visit to Fish-Man Island and giving her signature to Queen Otohime who’s dreaming of having her people emigrate from the seafloor to the surface and worked so hard to work on a peace and union of three species.”
“Unfortunately, she was assassinated by Hody Jones, who will keep expressing revenge and hatred against mankind just like Arlong did. Otohime’s death impact not just happened on Fish-Man Island, but it happened to Atlantis, even Aqua’s heart.” Aurora continues.
“Brokenhearted and depressed, Aqua cries on her bed until her father, Ryujin, comforts her after telling her about Hody killing her thanks to Princess Shirahoshi’s letter after her pet Megalo saw everything. She begged us that we shall not get angry or hold a grudge against Hody because she held a promise from her mother.” Aurora said.
“Oh, it may be hard on us, but we shall not break Queen Otohime’s dream, and Atlanteans will support her dream no matter how long it will take.” Aurora said.
Then the Crystal Ball glows, and shows the group of pirates who are standing against Hody Jones.
“Well, now… What’s this?” Aurora wondered and saw the pictures of a man who wears a straw hat who leads his crew - The Straw Hat Pirates.
“The Straw Hat Pirates? And… Monkey D. Luffy?” Aurora asked. “They’re standing up against Hody Jones and putting an end to his vengeful scheme? And the former Warlord Jimbei and Princess Shirahoshi are with them?”
“If they do… Then there’s a new hope emerging at Fish-Man Island; maybe the people will change their views to humans once more, and hopefully maybe they will continue to sign in the signatures for Otohime’s donation.” Aurora said as she smiled.

“And now…” Aurora said as the picture of Aqua as she grows into adulthood. “Aqua is now 18 years old, and maybe someday… she finds a special gift that makes her body transform into something… regal.”
Two days later…
February 4th, 1524
At the Atlantis Palace, Raki swims around the castle looking for Aqua. And he looked a bit worried.
“Oh, I can’t believe Aqua’s gone again. I thought she’s going out of town again. I mean, she always asked her parents to go out to town all by herself.” Raki sighed.
Raki lands down on the floor, jitters down the palace halls, mumbling to himself.
“Oh, I think I’m getting too old for this. I should be writing poetries, not looking for some cute, but enthusiastic and adventurous teenager.” Raki complained.
“I know she’s 18 years old, and no longer a child, but she does anything, she needs to tell her father first.” Raki said as he heard Ryujin grunts from the palace gym.
Raki swims to the gym room, and gasps silently in surprise.
King Ryujin, who is now 43 years old, was busy with his training regimen, as usual. He is busy doing push-ups… with a 5-ton weight on his back.
“69,995… 69,996… 69,997… 69,998… 69,999… NGGGGGN… 70,000!” Ryujin grunts before he puts the 5-ton weight on the floor, and sits up and breathes slowly.
“Wow… I think he is going to break the record of over 100,000 push-ups with 5-ton weights when he keeps doing his push-up training.” Raki whispered, amazed.
“Oh, yeah… Much better.” Ryujin said as he flexed his arms. “Nothing better than a morning exercise after breakfast.”
Ryujin notices Raki, who was amazed to see him break the record of over 70,000 push-ups. Then he coughs to compose himself. “Ahem, come in, Raki.”
“Your Majesty, I was looking for Aqua all over the castle. She’s not around this morning. She shouldn’t go outside the castle alone without asking you her permission.” Raki said, worriedly.
“Don’t worry, Raki. She already asked me since I’m taking a break when I am doing 35,000 push-ups.” Ryujin said as he cleaned his face with his towel.
“She did?” Raki asked, then sighed in relief. “That’s good. I was about to ask her how to exercise with Haki. I am no expert, but I believe you do, Your Majesty.”
“Maybe we shall do that days later. I need to keep going with my daily training routine. I need to keep my usual shape.” Ryujin said.
“Your shape already looks better. I mean you’re still a muscular merman already.” Raki said.
“Yeah, I know. But I am doing this because I need to get stronger to protect my kingdom.” Ryujin said.
“Well, so is Aqua, for your information. Now where did she go after you granted her permission? The town again?” Raki asked.
“Oh, she and Coral are exploring the wilderness outside the kingdom to discover the treasure. A few days ago, I promised her to explore the reef, ship graveyards and even the caves.” Ryujin said.

“Oh, yeah. That’s good to hear. Now when she’s old enough, she can finally swim outside the kingdom to…” Raki sighs again. Then he stopped talking, as his eyes widened and looked at the camera in shock, and then gasped worriedly. “WHAT?!”
Meanwhile, in a landscape of coral and seaweed, Aqua, who is now 18 years old, swims over it.
She has grown larger, just smaller than her mother, and as big as an average human.
Aqua has appeared more feminine since 10 years ago; from her child age to her adult age. Her tail has become longer and slimmer, her dorsal fin is now larger and curvier, and her hair has grown longer to reach her waist.
Right now, Aqua’s exploring to find the treasure, and this is her first time.
She sped over the ocean floor, gently slipping her flipper tail, until she stopped by the rock and gasped silently while smiling for what she'd found.
And then Coral, 18 years old, shows up; she has also grown and was big as a house cat, and she’s still cute since her child age.
“Hey, Aqua! Sorry I was late, I just stumped a sea turtle and I apologized to her. Did you find something?” Coral said as she stood on the rock besides Aqua’s face.
“Yes, and there it is. The crystal cave.” Aqua said as she pointed at the huge cave with glowing crystals, then asked. “Isn't it fantastic?”
“Wow… Not just fantastic. It’s beautiful. See those crystals? They glow.” Coral coos, then gets excited while smiles playfully. “I’ll race you!”
Coral begins to swim ahead to the cave, but Aqua yanks her tail towards her.
“Not so fast, Coral. We have to stick together this time. My father says that if I’m going out to explore then you shall swim with me. Therefore, this is not a time to play around. We’re on our mission to find the treasure as my explorers requested.” Aqua scolded slightly as she swam towards the crystal cave as Coral followed after her.
“Ugh, seriously? Not to disrespect your father, but I think sometimes his restriction of exploration conditions is not so fun. I mean there’s nothing dangerous out here. Just excitement, adventure, danger lurking around every corner of the coral reef.” Coral groaned as they got closer to the cave.
“I think you’re taking this mission too seriously-” Coral said.
“You're not getting cold fins now, are you?” Aqua chuckles. “My father says that because this is my first time ever. Until I can swim alone out here for maybe over a week, I need to keep training my battle skills at Kung Fu Dugong Training Gym.”
“Oh, right. You’ve also trained your speed skills with Sailfish Speed training routines, and survival skills with your bodyguards.” Coral said. “And I don’t think there are dangerous creatures out here.”
“Well, it could happen when we bump into predators or giant sea monsters like sharks, giant octopus, sea serpents, or worse… Neptunians.” Aqua said.
“Neptunians? You mean, the Sea Kings? They are huge, carnivorous monsters that inhabit all the world's oceans. And you mean we’re going to face one of them?!” Coral gasped.
“Yes, but it could happen, so that is why we have to be extra careful.” Aqua said as she entered the cave.
“Right…” Coral nodded and swam after Aqua.
They didn’t even notice that a large serpentine-like body swam above the cave.
For now, Aqua and Coral swam through the cave and looked at the crystals.
“Wow, déjà vu, huh? We’ve seen these crystals back at the tunnel when we’re heading to Fish-Man Island.” Coral gasped as she saw a reflection on the crystal which is big as Aqua.
Coral noticed one of her feathery gills looked messy, so she picked up her comb from her small bag and started to comb her gill. Afterward, she stopped combing her gill like it was her hair.
“There… Much better.” Coral sighed as the small seaweed accidentally tickled her nose.
“Ah… Aah… Aaah… AAATCHO!!” Coral sneezed and rocketed backward and crashed into a rock pillar, causing rocks beams to fall down.
“AAAH! MECHOKKU!!” Coral screamed and swam frantically away, knocking over Aqua.
“Oh, are you okay?” Aqua asked as Coral breathed deep and slowly.
“Yeah, just about. I'm just sneezing, that’s all. That seaweed tickles my nose sometimes.” Coral replied.
“Well, maybe it has the pollen.” Aqua chuckles as they keep swimming.
They’ve almost arrived at the large room with a small hole in the roof. But at the middle of the opening, there’s a sunken ship with lots of coins, and there’s a treasure chest.
“Jackpot! We’ve found it!” Aqua exclaimed as she swam towards the treasure chest. “Looks like this is a pirate ship. Must be taken down by Marine soldiers.”
“Hmm, yeah. Those pirates are so unlucky. But look at these bellies! Lots of them!” Coral said as she’s looking at lots of belly coins, and she got a dollar sign on her eyes.
And Aqua opened the unlocked treasure chest, and saw a necklace with a green pearl. “Wow, it's pretty. Hey, Coral! There’s not just more Berries in this chest, but there’s a beautiful green pearl necklace.”
“Really? Let me see it!” Coral said as she swam to Aqua and saw the necklace. “Wow… Yes, it is pretty.”
“It looks familiar to my mother’s necklace. I wonder what it is.” Aqua wondered.
“I don't know. But I bet your mother knows.” Coral said, as she and Aqua, who put the necklace in her bag, were distracted by the pearl, a large serpentine swamp above the hole.
Aqua picks up an underwater camera, and takes photos of the belly coins and the pirate ship. “I’ve gotta take the pictures and show them to my father. He needs to see this!”
“Isn’t that exciting as your first exploration?” Coral asked.
“It is! As soon as I've taken the pictures, we’d better head back to Atlantis. I can’t wait to show the pictures and the necklace to my parents.” Aqua said, excitedly.

Suddenly, a giant sea serpent, 15 meters long, breaks through the hole and swims towards Aqua and Coral.
“AAH! SEA SERPENT!! SWIM, AQUA, SWIM!!” Coral screamed as she and Aqua swam away as the sea serpent banged to the wall.
It's chasing Aqua and Coral around the cave, and they swim to the exit as fast as they can.
But as they reached the exit, a sea serpent broke the rock wall as Coral screamed. And it was too close for a young axolotl to be eaten, but lucky for her, she already swam out of the monster’s mouth before it snapped its jaw.
Aqua and Coral swam back to the large room as the sea serpent chomped towards them. They both swam upwards to the huge hole on the roof.
“Quick! This way!” Aqua shouted as they swam through the hole and swam outside, but the sea serpent was still in pursuit after them.
Coral screams as the sea serpent keeps chasing across the reef, until Aqua spots a giant solid anchor-shaped rock.
She got an idea, she grabbed Coral’s arm and shouted. “Hold on tight!”
They swam to the anchor-shaped rock which is double times bigger than a sea serpent, and swam through the ring. The sea serpent races towards them, but his head gets stuck in the ring of an anchor.
“Ha! Don’t mess with the Mermaid Princess!” Coral teased and blew a raspberry.
The sea serpent roared frustrated at Coral who was scared and swam to Aqua who is now heading back to Atlantis.
“MECHOKKU!!” Coral cried, terrified.
“Phew, let's hurry before the sea serpent escapes.” Aqua said.
“Yeah, and hasty.” Coral said.
Not too long before the sea serpent came out of the ring, and snorted in frustration after losing its prey and swam away.

A bit later, in the throne room, King Ryujin sat down with Athena who sat in their throne chairs, and they both were relieved that their daughter is still okay after she was chased by a sea serpent.
Coral nuzzles Athena’s cheek after she was a bit scared since her first journey with Aqua.
“I’m so relieved that you came back safe and sound, Aqua.” Ryujin said.
“Thanks, father. The sea serpent is out of the blue. I didn’t know I was stalked by a giant hungry creature.” Aqua said.
“But I am glad you with your speed training with Sailfish Champions paid off, plus you use your head to outsmart the sea monster. You’re a brave mermaid. But right now, you’ll take a break from your exploration for today. You need to rest.” Ryujin said.
“Okay, father. It’s good to be home, though.” Aqua said.
“Really, young lady! You make me worried sick!” Raki scolded. “I was about to tell you to train with Kung Fu Dugongs to exercise your battle skills!”
“Yeah, about that. Sorry. I haven’t started my battle lessons yet.” Aqua said.
“Now, now, Raki. She hasn't started that training lesson yet. Have patience.” Ryujin said.
“Sorry, Your Majesty.” Raki apologized.
“So, my little angel, what did you find today?” Athena asked.
“Well, I just found the cave with crystals, far south from here, as father requested, and I found a large room with a sunken pirate ship. And there is a lot of treasure on the seafloor. Lots of bellies. I believed the ship was taken down by Marine soldiers.” Aqua explained.
“And I’ve taken the pictures from my camera. Look.” Aqua said as she gave the pictures to Ryujin.
The sea king examined the pictures of the treasure and the pirate ship.
“Hmmm…” Ryujin hummed. “It appears that the pirate ship has sunk into the cave. Well, I don’t think that’s the Marines’ work, Aqua. A sea monster caused those holes on the ship. I believed it was the same sea serpent that chased you.”
“Geez, man. I was about to think the same thing as the Marines. But then again, I was wrong.” Raki shrugged.
“So that’s what that huge serpent who did that to the pirate humans.” Coral gasped.
“Unfortunately, yes. I guess there are weak Devil Fruit users who have no chance against it.” Athena said.
“Mother, father! There’s more than the bellies and the ship! Look what we found!” Aqua said as she picked up the necklace from her bag.
“Is this a necklace?” Ryujin asked.
“Yes, this necklace with a green pearl. And it looks similar to Athena’s.” Coral said.
“This pearl… I think that’s…” Athena muttered, then gasped and she smiled widely. “Oh, by the Gods…! I thought there’s only one. And now there’s another one.”
“Incredible. It's very rare that there’s another same pearl you’re wearing, my love.” Ryujin said, amazed.
“What? What is it?” Aqua asked.

“Aqua… There’s something you need to listen carefully. This is the pearl that has the power that can change your body permanently, the Regal Pearl.” Athena said.
“A Regal Pearl? You mean, this is the same pearl you’re wearing, mother?” Aqua asked.
“Yes, as you can see, a Regal Pearl can make only mermaids from their regular skinny figures with flat chests to their curvaceous hips and big breasts.” Athena replied.
“Wait, what? It will?” Coral asked.
“Yes.” Athena replied.

“Yeah, I was surprised as that happened first, but then I fell in love with her new body.” Ryujin said while blushing as Aqua’s eyes widened in surprise.
“I have no idea…” Aqua muttered as she looked down at the necklace with a Regal Pearl, and wondered. “Will this Regal Pearl necklace happen to me the same thing to when I wear this?”
“Yeah, I believe it can happen to you too if you wear it.” Ryujin replied.
Aqua stares, mouth wide open. She bows her head, unsurely. “If it happened… Will my body never transform back to like this?” She asked.
“No, Aqua. It will stay curvaceous forever.” Athena replied as Aqua sighed mournfully as she looked up at her mother and father.
“Would you give me a time before I wear this necklace?” Aqua asked.
“Sure, take your time before you make your decision.” Ryujin nodded as Aqua turned around and swam headed to her room while Coral followed her.
“Poor princess… I don’t think she’s ready to wear the necklace yet.” Raki said.

“Oh, dear…” Athena sighed as Ryujin swam towards her, picking up her chin and looking at his eye.
“Athena, darling… we knew this day would come.” Ryujin said as Athena held his hand with her both hands.
“Oh, Ryu. You're right. It's time I trusted her with the truth.” Athena said.
Meanwhile in her room, Aqua looked at her reflection on her mirror while looking at her body, while spun slowly around if she’s ready to wear the Regal Pearl necklace which she put on her table.
“It’s okay, Aqua. I know you’re unsure about wearing this necklace, but I am sure you’re going to love your new regal form.” Coral said as Aqua lowers her head once more, and sits down on her bed and puts her hands on cheeks.
“Coral. I don’t want to argue with my parents, but it’s just… If I wear this necklace, and I turn into my curvy form, and it’s just… I don’t feel like myself anymore.” Aqua sighed.
“What do you mean?” Coral asked.
“I am not sure if I wear this just like my mother, and have an hourglass shaped body. I mean what if Princess Shirahoshi saw me like this. She thinks I look like a different person. What if she doesn’t recognize me?” Aqua asked worriedly, but honestly.
“Aqua…” Coral whispered.
“I believed she always recognized you, my dear.” A voice from Athena makes Aqua a bit surprised to see her entering her room.
“Mother…” Aqua muttered, surprised as Athena swam slowly towards Aqua, and sat beside her. “I guess you’ve heard what I said, hmm?”
“Yeah, I did.” Athena replied. “You see, when I first wore the necklace, I was so nervous that I thought everyone thought I looked like a different person for the first time. But then, as soon as they recognized me, except with a large bosom and pleasing curves, I felt relieved.”
“Wait… You think?” Aqua asked, surprised.
“Yes, even your father already recognizes my new body. This Regal Pearl is not just a gift of the Gods, themselves. It’s a gift of evolution.” Athena said.
“A gift of… evolution?” Aqua asked.
“Yes…” Athena replied as she clasped her daughter’s hands and slowly lifted them up. “Even though your body has changed into your permanent regal form, it doesn’t mean everyone thinks you're a different person.”

“Do you think… I can still be the same princess as I am now? Even if I wear this Regal Pearl necklace?” Aqua asked.
“Of course. You’re still the same Aqua we know and love.” Athena said as Aqua smiles at her mother and wrapped her arms around her and pulled her into a hug.
“Thank you, mom. I love you.” Aqua whispered as Athena smiled and hugged her back.
Coral just lays her belly on Aqua’s bed and wags her tail happily and smiles at the mother and daughter moment. Aqua and Athena pulled away and looked at each other.
“It is time.” Athena said as Aqua nodded, and grabbed the necklace.
A bit later, in the throne room…
“I’m glad mother helped you a bit, Aqua.” Ryujin said.
“Yes, father. She taught me that the people will always recognize me when I wear this Regal Pearl necklace. No matter what I look, no matter how bustier I am… I will always be the Mermaid Princess of Atlantis, and your daughter…” Aqua said.
“Very well… Now wear the necklace and brace yourself for a new stage of an evolution.” Ryujin said as Aqua nodded.
Aqua slowly puts the necklace around her neck and looks at the pearl for a few seconds. And then the pearl glows neon blue.
“Wow… So pretty…” Aqua whispered, in awe.
And then the next moment, Aqua suddenly gasped as her body glowed neon blue. Then, she started moaning in slight pain and covered her face as she felt herself growing slightly taller.
Her chest and hips getting bigger to reach Athena’s bust and hips sizes. Soon, the glowing stopped, and Aqua looked at her large chest and hips.
Athena and Ryujin were surprised at first that it worked on their daughter, but then they smiled at her new regal form.
“Wow… Look at that.” Raki gasped, amazed. “It really worked.”
“Oooh…!” Coral gasped, amazed, then smiled. “Aqua, you looked beautiful…!”
“She has finally ascended to her regal form.” Athena said.
The royal guards looked amazed, and were happy to see her become more beautiful as she looked.
“Well, Aqua? How do you feel?” Ryujin asked.
“I feel… a bit bigger, and… I’ve got a curvy hips…” Aqua answered as she looked at her body again, then felt her hips.
“And my… big breasts…” Aqua continues as she carefully rubs her large breasts, and they are not… so heavy.
Besides that they feel like pillows or airbags, they feel so tender.
“Well, this is kind of nostalgic, isn’t it, Athena? Just like your first reaction when it happened to you for the first time.” Ryujin said.
“Oh, Ryujin.” Athena giggled.
“Are you okay, Aqua?” Coral asked.
“I… I… I love it!” Aqua cried happily as she spun around and then swam around the throne room. “This feels great! I REALLY LOVE IT!!”
Even with her chest size, it doesn't slow her speed down. But what makes Aqua even more happy is that her Royal Guards already recognized her face and cheered for her. And then she swam towards her mother and hugged her while her large breasts squished Athena’s.
“Oh, mother! You were so right all the time! Thank you so much!” Aqua cried.
“I’m so happy that you’re getting used to being a regal mermaid, sweetheart.” Athena said as she hugged her back while not minding when Aqua’s breasts squished against hers.
“Yeah…” Aqua nodded before breaking her hug from her mother and looked at Ryujin “Daddy, I…”
“Yes, my child. You look even more beautiful as you are now. But despite your new body shape, you’re still the same Aqua I always know and love.” Ryujin said as he held up her chin and looked at her eyes.
Hearing that makes Aqua happy, and hold her father’s hand and put it into her cheek to gently nuzzle it and coos. “Thanks, father… After hearing you give me the courage, I’ve finally chosen my new path to become my regal form.”
“You’re welcome, my young Mermaid Princess…” Ryujin said as she pulled her into a hug which Aqua hugs him back.
To Aqua, her future is getting brighter than a sun or a moon, but soon her hope will get brighter too.
February 6th, 1524
Four days later, in her bedroom, Aqua was resting on her bed and sleeping after having a long expedition in the coral reef. Coral’s sleeping on Aqua’s large bosoms.
Aqua is already getting used to her new regal form, and she doesn’t look bothered to have her breasts and hips that large.
She’s sleeping on her bed almost 45 minutes before she heard a gentle knock on her door, and woke up, while sitting on her bed. Coral already woke up so she leaped into the other side of the bed, and stretched her legs like a cat.
“Yes?” Aqua yawned and stretched her arms. “Who’s there?”
“It’s Raki. I have good news from your father.” Raki called.
“Really?” Aqua moaned as she rubs her eyes. “What is it?”
“The letter is from King Neptune, himself. He says Hody Jones is defeated by the captain of Straw Hat Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy. And Vander Decken is arrested along with Hody in the prison.” Raki announced.

Aqua gasped slightly, while her eyes widened in joy, then hugged Coral, and shouted. “Yes, yes, yes! Take me to my father!”
“Mmmph! You squish me…!” Coral mumbled, muffled.
At the throne room, Ryujin was likewise overjoyed while reading Neptune’s letter about the Straw Hats fighting back the New Fishman Pirates during the coup.
And in the meantime Vander Decken IX almost destroys Fishman Island by using his powers on the Ark Noah. But thanks to Shirahoshi's powers as Poseidon, she is able to stop Noah and save the island after she summons the Sea Kings.
With Hody’s coup foiled, Luffy becomes the savior of Fishman Island.
“...And thus, after Luffy and his crew leave our country as they are heading to the New World, we will never EVER forget the debt we owe, jamon. And hopefully, we’ll see them someday. Signed, your old friend, King Neptune.” Ryujin read.
“Oh, I’m so glad the Straw Hat Crew saved the Fish-Man Island, and reset the history to zero.” Raki said.
“And I’m very shocked that Hody is kind of an empty shell; he feels nothing, but only pitiful revenge against humans even if they did nothing to him.” Athena said as she crossed her arms and shook her head, disappointedly.
“Yes, but now Hody is now locked behind the bars with Decken, this is the ‘nothing’ from which our friends start anew for Otohime’s sake.” Ryujin said.
“And now they can continue to send their signatures for Otohime’s donation.” Raki said.
“Father… If Vander Decken is arrested with Hody… Does that mean Shirahoshi is free now?” Aqua asked.
“Yes, Aqua. She finally is no longer locked in her room for her safety. She’s finally free.”
Ryujin replied as Aqua grins widely while the tears formed in her eyes.
“Oh, thank God… Shirahoshi…” Aqua sighed tearfully, while closing her eyes and looking down, yet smiling wistfully.
“And Aqua… There’s more… “P.S. I know Shirahoshi wants to see your daughter, but in a few days, we’re heading to Reverie, a council formed by the World Government, because this upcoming meeting… is the greatest desire of our late queen, Otohime. So, I’ve put the photo on her if you want to see her, jamon”.” Athena read, as she picked up a photo of Shirahoshi to her daughter.
Aqua’s eyes widened in surprise and blushed; she noticed Shirahoshi had grown larger and looked a bit different from before.
Despite her size, she has grown beautiful; a gigantic mermaid, at least 55 ft in height, even bigger than Neptune himself. She has long, strawberry-blonde hair with a fish-shaped hair-grip. Her bosom is quite large, and most of her upper body is exposed. Her broadly striped tail ends in a ruffle around her waist, and her cheeks are a faint pink.
She wears a cleavage-bearing yellow halter top covered in pearls with a strap that widens and sticks out at the back of her neck. She also wears a pair of clam earrings and a belly chain around her waist with a cloth hanging down in front.
In other words, Shirahoshi has changed into a beautiful, young Mermaid Princess and has grown to 16 years old. But size doesn’t matter to Aqua; she’s really happy to see her friend again.
“Shirahoshi…” Aqua whispered wistfully.
Then she swam off slowly to leave the throne room and head to her room.
“Shouldn’t you go with her, Coral?” Raki asked.
“No… Just give her an alone moment… She was happy to see that Shirahoshi is okay, and…” Coral replied, then she halted, and wondered. “Has she changed?”
“Do you think someday Aqua will see Shirahoshi someday, my love?” Athena asked.
“Yeah, maybe not this month or this year, but maybe someday… I’ve got a feeling they will see each other again. And maybe… They’ve become more than friends as Otohime and I talked ten years ago.” Ryujin replied while smiling.
At her room, Aqua put the photo of Shirahoshi on her picture frame on her table beside her bed, then she lays down while smiling at her and sighed.
“Princess Shirahoshi… I know it’s been short-lived for your freedom for a while, and I wish I could join you in the Reverie, but… I have a kingdom to protect because this is my responsibility. So I have to stay here for now… But at least I can see your face again…” Aqua said.
While she’s looking at Shirahoshi’s face, Aqua realizes she’s somehow left enamored…
“Oh… She’s so beautiful…” Aqua sighed.

Maybe Coral’s right… Maybe Aqua really is in love with Shirahoshi… Despite being a mermaid, she’s enchanted by Neptune’s daughter’s beauty.
Then Aqua started to hum before letting her enchanted voice vocalize “Ahhh”, and then she started to sing.

Aqua started imagining if she could see Shirahoshi who slowly turned to her, and gave her a lovely smile, then she continued to sing.
Aqua:
♫Where would we swim?
Where would we spun?♫
Then she slowly reaches her hand to the sunshine while looking at the sun reflection through her windows.
Aqua:
♫If we could stay all day in the sun?
Just you and me, and I could be
Part of your world♫
Then she let out a soft sigh and looked through the window and started to think about Shirahoshi, and wondered if she’s going to be okay at Reverie.
February 19th, 1524
Days later in Ryugu Kingdom on Fish-Man Island…
“Nooooo~!!” Shirahoshi cried as she hugged Megalo. “I don't wanna go!! Sir Luffy… he promised me he'd take me to the surface!! We would go on a walk again, in a forest!!”
“Yes, yes, Princess, I know,” said the Minister of the Right. “And of course, Sir Luffy and his friends will be able to take you on another stroll, to a much farther place if you so desire, but this trip is only right above us! And just think, your brothers, the Neptune Princes, and the Neptune Royal Army, will be there to protect you from harm!”
“But I…” Shirahoshi whimpered.
“Oh, what a bother,” groaned the Minister of the Left.

“Father,” Ryuboshi began, “what if we let Shirahoshi skip this one, mi-re-do~?”
“Mambo, mambo!” chanted Mamboshi. “If we're going to petition to migrate to Fish-Man Island, then we've got tons of signatures from the citizens!!”
“But if she doesn't come along,” Neptune began, “it would be as if we were saying that we don't trust the humans, jamon.”
“Shirahoshi,” Fukaboshi began, “I know you're nervous, as am I, though I don't show it…”
“Big Brother Fukaboshi…” Shirahoshi murmured.
“But have you learned nothing from watching the Straw Hat Pirates during their stay here?” asked Fukaboshi. “This upcoming meeting...is the greatest desire of our late, Otohime. So...let us go, together.”
A pause...but then a Royal Soldier came into Shirahoshi's room. “Your Majesty! I’ve got a letter from Princess Aqua of Atlantis Kingdom!”
Shirahoshi gasped silently and let go of Megalo.
“From Princess Aqua?” asked Shirahoshi, surprised.
“Yes, it says… Ahem.” The royal soldier nodded, before he cleared his throat and started to read Aqua’s letter.
“Princess Shirahoshi… I wish you and your royal family good luck for your upcoming meeting in Reverie. I also wish I could come with you, but I have a kingdom to look after. When you’ve arrived at Reverie, you have to be strong just like your mother… And someday… I’ve got a feeling that we shall meet again, my friend. Signed, Princess Aqua.” The royal soldier said as everyone was delighted to hear Aqua’s letter.
“Princess Aqua…” Fukaboshi murmured, delightedly.
“She was so happy for us when King Ryujin read your letter, Father.” Ryuboshi said.
“Mm-hmm… I wish I could have invited Ryuchi and his family to join us, but Atlantis is not affiliated to the World Government, so that is why we have to go without them, unfortunately, jamon.” Neptune said.
Despite that, Shirahoshi was happy to hear what Aqua’s letter says to her and her family. And somehow, her tender words somehow make her braver, and she promises Luffy to not cry, so he will not call her 'Wimpyhoshi' again.
She was a bit sad that Aqua can’t see her right now, but she knows that Aqua will meet her again… someday. So, she decided to come with her father and brothers to the Reverie.
“Father? Brothers?” Shirahoshi started.
“Yes?” asked Neptune. “What is it, my dear, jamon?”
“I… I changed my mind!” Shirahoshi exclaimed. “I'm going to the Reverie, as well! I must go, or else Sir Luffy will only call me 'Wimpyhoshi' again!”
“Hohoho!” Neptune laughed, proudly. “I was hoping you'd say that! Let us be off, then!”
Shirahoshi nodded, then as she exited her room, she looked up at the sky.

“Aqua… Thank you for giving me courage to go to the Reverie… I don’t know how long it will take… But someday, I kept my promise that I will see you. So please just wait a longer for me…” Shirahoshi thinks while smiling.
Meanwhile, at Aqua’s room…
Aqua stood at her balcony while looking at the sun reflection on the surface, and sang on the part.
Aqua:

But I know something's starting right now
Watch and you'll see… Someday I'll be…
Part of your world!♫
When Aqua sings the part “Part of your world”, she spreads her arms outwards and closes her eyes and smiles; with vigor and determination, Aqua makes a bold proclamation that she will be a part of Shirahoshi's world.
♫The Lion King (1994) - Remember Who You Are (01:53 - 04:55)♫
Then she opened her eyes while still looking at the surface, until she saw two leopard sharks swim slowly and pacing around Aqua, who’s looking at them.
“Oh? Hi there. Where did you come from?” Aqua asked as the two leopard sharks’ spots glowed blue and swam off.
And they stopped by Madame Aurora who smiles at Aqua, and gestures her hand language to come with her. Aqua tilted her head in confusion, but she didn't mind following Aurora.
Aurora smiles softly while leading the young Mermaid Princess outside of Atlantis.
Outside the castle, Ryujin already noticed Aurora led Aqua to swim out the kingdom, however he already knew since Aurora told him to go out with his daughter.
“And there they go…” Ryujin murmured.
A bit later, Aqua had stopped swimming and was now in the middle of the hills of seagrass meadow and flowers, and was about to pick one of them.
She picks a white smelting colored flower, and it reminds her about Shirahoshi. Then she sighed wistfully before Aurora approached her and patted her hand on her shoulder.
“So you’re finally here, princess.” Aurora said.
“Madame Aurora. What are you doing out here? I thought you’re the proprietor of the Mermaid Café and a fortune-teller.” Aqua asked, surprised.
“True, but sometimes I close the café because I need a break.” Aurora said.
“That’s so? So, is there anything you want me to do for you?” Aqua asked.
“I’ve predicted that you’ve found the Regal Pearl that changes your body into the magnificent shape of the queen.” Aurora said as she slowly paced around Aqua.
“Well, I may look like my Mother, but I am a little smaller than her.” Aqua chuckles sheepishly.
“Seems so… And, you’re worried because Shirahoshi doesn’t recognize you because of your new look?” Aurora asked.
Aqua’s expression turns to worry, and bows in remorse, and replies. “Yeah… I just don’t know if she remembers how I look. I mean I didn’t put the photo on my letter to her.”
“Even so, you don't have to be recognized for your hourglass-shaped body. She already recognized your pretty face, beautiful eyes, and most of all… your enchanted voice.” Aurora said as Aqua touched her throat.
“You mean… my singing skills?” Aqua asked. “Do you think…?
“Of course. If you’re singing, plus with your Growth Hairpin, the memories are triggered in Shirahoshi’s mind and then POOF she recognizes you.” Aurora said.
“What do you know?” Aqua gasped, amazed. “Maybe you’re right! Thank you, Aurora! Thank you so much!”
“Oh, it was nothing, really. I’m just giving you some hints.” Aurora said as Aqua turned around and swam back to Atlantis.
“Oh, your hint just gave me hope. And it makes me feel better.” Aqua said before she's swimming off.
“Wait, Your Highness!” Aurora called and Aqua stopped and turned her head to her.
“What’s the matter?” Aqua asked.
“The reason I've led you here is there’s something I’ve got to tell you. You see… Queen Otohime wants to see you.” Aurora said, which made Aqua’s mouth wide open in shock and turned at her.
“What?!” Aqua gasped as Aurora and her leopard sharks swarmed off. Then she chases after them. “Hey, wait!”
She swam across the hills of seagrass meadow, then over the landscape of coral reef, and she stopped by a rock where Aurora sits on, closed her eyes.
“Is Queen Otohime here?” Aqua asked.
“Yes… Somewhere around the ocean.” Aurora replied, monotone.
Aqua bows her head mournfully and sighed. “I hate to tell you this, but she died ten years ago. Hody Jones shots her down with her rifle.”
“Yes… Her body is gone in her grave, but her life spirit lives on.” Aurora said as she opened her eyes.
“It what?!” Aqua questioned, shocked, as Aurora’s leopard sharks rolled back a large rock, revealing an opening to a cave.
“Just follow me to the cave, princess. I’ll show you the way. Come on!” Aurora said as she darts away from Aqua, she stares at him in confusion.
Then Aurora and her leopard sharks swam inside the cave, and Aqua followed to the entrance and looked through the hole. She looks hesitantly over one shoulder, then enters.
Aqua passes through the kelps, then the glowing coral reefs. She watches them amazed.
“Don't dawdle.” Aurora said while she’s in front of Aqua, then called. “Hurry up!”
Aurora races away, while Aqua swims to follow her behind.
“Hey, whoa, wait, wait!” Aqua shouted as she kept swimming through the cave with glowing rocks and reef.
“Move your tail, princess! Faster!” Aurora said as she and her leopard sharks took off again, while Aqua kept swimming after them.
“Would you slow down?” Aqua asked as her tail fin and dorsal fin glows blue which surprises her.
Were they reacting by the bioluminescence which is the production and emission of light by living organisms?
Aqua was not terrified, but amazed as she kept following Aurora.

After a while, they arrived into a large room, which was big as her Father and Mother’s room, but just the walls of the grotto. Then Aqua saw the glow at the next room as Aurora smiled at her, then swam off to the entrance of the room where the light was.
“Look over there.” Aurora whispered as Aqua quietly and carefully swam towards the next room, and it was huge as Neptune’s throne room, but she saw the light orbs. Lots of them glowing neon-blue.
On the floor, there are glowing reefs, on the walls of the grotto, the markings are glowing too.
Aqua gasped in stun, and she remembered those glowing orbs around her. “Are they the Life Spirits? I’ve heard the stories in the library, but I have no idea that they are here.”
“Those life spirits are the people who met their unfortunate end.” Aurora explained. “But even though they are gone, they live in us in spirit, and that is why their stars appear in the midnight sky. To remind us to respect and love one another, no matter how different we may be.”
“Even Queen Otohime? And… my grandfather Raijin, as well?” Aqua asked.
“Yes… They both live in your heart.” Aurora replied as she pointed at Aqua’s heart.

Behind Aqua who is awestruck, several shafts of light shine from one of the Life Spirit orbs and the light forms the ghost of Queen Otohime, who smiles at Aqua.
“Hello, Princess Aqua.” Otohime said as Aqua gasped silently and her eyes widened, turned around and stared at Otohime in awe.
“Queen Otohime?” Aqua asked. “Is it really you?”
“Yes, my dear child. It’s been a long time, isn’t it?” Otohime asked.
“My queen… I’m so relieved that you’re here.” Aqua said while smiling, then showed her pained expression. “I’ve just heard about Hody Jones assassinating you. My parents were about to stop him, but… Shirahoshi wrote a letter to my father that we shall not get angry or hate him because she kept your promise over ten years.”
“I know, Aqua. I’ve been watching Shirahoshi. I was so happy for her being so faithful to keep my last wish since she’s locked in the Shell Tower, all alone. You see, Aqua. I don’t want to let my people hate the humans, and definitely do not teach their children to hate them, too. They will meet them one day, and then they will learn.” Otohime said.
“I understand… I just feel so sorry for her when she watches you die, and-” Aqua said as she showed her remorseful expression, but Otohime gently cut her off.
♫The Lion King (1994) - This Land (0:00 to 0:30)♫
“Yeah, I know how you feel… You were worried, that’s because you’re bearing a strong love within your heart.” Otohime said as Aqua sighed as she put her hand on her large left chest.
“Don’t worry, my young one. You have to be strong just like your father, and embrace your bright future. And I am sure Shirahoshi feels the same way too.” Otohime said.
“Thanks, Your Majesty.” Aqua said.
And then, besides Otohime, several shafts of light shine from one of the Life Spirit orbs and the light formed the ghost of Aqua’s grandfather, Raijin.
“Aqua.” Raijin said while smiling at his granddaughter who gaped in surprise.
“Oh my God… Are you...?” Aquas gasped.
“Yes, Aqua. I am your grandfather.” Raijin replied.
“Raijin. I've heard a lot about you.” Aqua whispered, loudly.
“And I've been watching you. I see that you’ve found the Regal Pearl that unlocked your regal form. Your shape looks fitting for a queen.” Raijin said.
“Thanks, grandfather.” Aqua said as she’s looking at her hips and chest. “They may look too big, but I already love it since it happened.”
“You do look like your mother, Aqua. But you’re quite beautiful. I am sure Shirahoshi is going to like it too.” Otohime said.
“Thanks.” Aqua said as she bows.
“Anyway, there’s something you need to know about the titans, Aqua.” Raijin said.
“You mean those giant monsters which were banished by my father a long time ago? Something wrong?” Aqua asked.
“They were banished to the darkest pits of Tartarus just because I asked Ryujin my last wish. The titans are the giant gods of this planet, but they were corrupted by rage towards either the humans, Fish-Men, Merfolk and all living things. They want to destroy anything in their path before they want to dominate the whole planet.” Raijin said.
“Yeah, I’ve heard the stories about them. But why do you want to tell me about them just now?” Aqua asked.
“I’m afraid in the future, I’ve got a crimson feeling that someone’s going to find the Titan Key to unlock their prison and release them, and set forth to Atlantis.” Raijin said.
“How awful…” Aqua whispered, horrified and then looked up with her determined expression. “Then it’s up to us to stop whoever's going to release them.”
♫The Lion King (1994) - Remember who you are (5:25 to 7:48)♫
“Yes, but you’re not alone. There’s someone special who can summon the Sea Kings, because she was born with these powers.” Otohime said.
“You mean Shirahoshi? But why?” Aqua asked.
“We’ll talk another day. We need to rest. And I’m so glad to see you, my dear granddaughter.” Raijin said before his body glows.
“Wait, where are you going?” Aqua asked.
“One day, Aqua… Only you and Shirahoshi will stop the titans together.” Otohime said as she and Raijin fades away into the orbs.
“No! Wait! Please, don’t leave me again!” Aqua shouted.
“We never left you...and never will.” Raijin said offscreen.
“Just remember… you are not alone…” Otohime said offscreen as her voice echoed around the cave.
“Remember…” Otohime and Raijin’s voice echoes, quietly.
Aqua stares at the orbs which are still glowing, while having ears in her eyes, then ran through her cheeks. But instead of crying, she let her soft sigh.
After a moment, Aurora approaches from behind Aqua.
“Well, at least you’ll see Queen Otohime and your grandfather, Raijin, the former king of the sea. How do you feel, my young princess?” Aurora said.
“It feels… so good to see them, at least.” Aqua said, thoughtfully. “Still… There’s one thing that makes me curious; why and Shirahoshi are the only ones who can defeat the titans?”
“As you can see… Princess Shirahoshi has the unusual power to communicate with and command the Sea Kings.” Madame Aurora replied.
“What?! She can command these giant creatures?” Aqua asked in shock.
“She is also the current incarnation of the Ancient Weapon Poseidon, after she was named after one of the Twelve Olympians and the Greece god of the sea, water, storms, earthquakes, and horses.” Aurora said.
“Is Shirahoshi… the incarnation of Poseidon?” Aqua asked.
“Yes… Rather than being an inanimate object like usual weapons, Poseidon was a mermaid belonging to the Ryugu Kingdom's royal bloodline.” Aurora replied while explaining about Poseidon.
“After she died, her descendants who possessed the same ability to speak with Sea Kings were granted her name as a Title, known colloquially as the “Mermaid Princess”. Currently, Shirahoshi has inherited Poseidon's power and her name.” Aurora continued.
“Is it too dangerous to control the Sea Kings?” Aqua asked.
“Yes… However, the legends say someday, someone capable of guiding her power to be used for the right purpose will appear, and this will bring about a great change to the world.” Aurora replied.
“So, in other words, the power of love can save a great many when used correctly… and can stop the titans… when the time has come?” Aqua asked.
“Yes, but we are not so sure when it will happen in a few years. But don’t get it over your head, my dear.” Aurora said.
“Don’t worry, I wouldn’t have to think about when it happened. I still have to protect the kingdom, and it’s my responsibility as the Mermaid Princess.” Aqua assured. “And maybe someday, maybe after the meeting at the Reverie, I’ll see Princess Shirahoshi.”
“That’s more I like it. And I’m sure your parents will know someday that you and Shirahoshi will save both kingdoms from the titans.” Aurora said.
“Thank you, Madame Aurora.” Aqua said as she nodded. “I shall remember this day I’ll never forget. Well, I’m off. And thanks for everything!”
Then Aqua swam off to leave the room, and then she left the cave. With her bright smile, she swam towards Atlantis while the "Busa" theme played.
After swimming out of her grotto, Aurora and her leopard sharks looked at her swimming off, but the fortune-teller smiled at the young Mermaid Princess.
“Hail Princess Aqua…” Aurora said as she bows.
Even though it takes a few years before that apocalypse happens, there are other tales of Princess Aqua’s battles and adventures before she met Shirahoshi.

At the beginning of this chapter, Aqua is exploring with her friend, Coral, out in the wilderness to found the treasure.
Then she found the peculiar necklace with a green pearl in the cave with a sunken pirate ship with lots of treasure.
Then she and Coral were chased by a large sea serpent, who is a minor antagonist and have the same role of Glut the Shark from The Little Mermaid. And the giant sea monster ends up getting his head stuck in the ring of an anchor.
After returned to her castle, Athena confirmed the pearl is the "Regal Pearl" which can make only mermaids from their regular skinny figures with flat chests to their curvaceous hips and big breasts.
And after Aqua wears it, her body started to transforms into majestic and gorgeous appearance; her Regal Form. And she looks beautiful just like her mother.

And two days later, she heard wonderful news about Shirahoshi is free after Vander Decken is imprisoned in the Ryugu Kingdom's Prison Tower along with Hody Jones and New Fish-Man Pirate crew, after the events of the end of One Piece Fish-Man Island Arc.
And with vigor and determination, Aqua makes a bold proclamation that she will be a part of Shirahoshi's world.
Then she went to Madame Aurora's grotto to see something amazing... The Spirit Orbs.
