Hurpdurp. aka "Half Ass Tutorial"!
Seriously you guys/gals. This is essentially me going "My laptop can't handle streaming but I want to prove how simple my work really is." Also a token of my aggravated laziness since it takes decades to scan. But at least you can see the supplies.
My traditional work is "smooth" because of the marker flats hidden underneath the (Crayola) colour pencil polish. Sorry to disappoint, but there are no magic tricks or SUPAR SECRET techniques. Same thing I've done the past 12yrs, just with more finesse.
ONLY stipulation here, is that ordinarily I double over the flats and do minor shading with the exact same markers. But I completely bypassed that step this time. It's not necessary; just adds extra depth.
**ps: The only time I used the white pencil was to put glare on the bottles in the background. :U Everything else I used "Sand" (since it's all brown tones).

Lol, and here I was feeling like a Smarty Marty when I tried shading using the same markers as the flat colors. :P But, good to hear I'm not alone.
I think I'm going to have to go get me a set of Crayola pencils. Of the ones I currently have, I have 20+ browns and hardly any greens (which I seem to use a helluva a lot).
