There is an exception to many things in the world and, in terms of the Ottums, Cassidy is that exception. She has a name she keeps, a hairstyle that rarely changes, she does not possess the Ottum trait of being able to talk for hours on end, she lacks that carefreeness that comes so naturally to her kind, and she has ambitions beyond sweet making. All of this has made Cassidy feel as though she does not fit in with the other Ottums. Perhaps one day things will brighten up for Cassidy, but only time will tell.
