This is a waaay overdue drawing.
So, back when dynamaxing was first announced for Sword and Shield, I made a post asking "What Pokemon do you want to see dynamaxed?"
My plan was to take two of the responses and draw them in an epic giant battle. However, the only two suggestions I got were "Voltorb" and "Caterpie", who... aren't very epic.
Instead, I decided to do little one-offs for each of them, but never got around to it. This was all planned out before we learned that dynamax pokemon use dedicated "Max" moves, rather than having access to their normal moves, so this comic's premise is obsolete. I still thought it was funny enough to bother drawing.
Anyways, two straight sheep posts. That's unexpected.

Only two suggestions? I'm surprised the "Giant Mienshao Guy" got so few suggestions about what Pokemon to show in a Dynamax battle. I guess I was lucky that most of of my favorite Pokemon made it into Sword and Shield, except for the Fennekin line which I wanted to see the most Dynamaxed.
This reminds me of that old similar image of a Gyrados using Hyper Beam on a Pidgey. Gotta love RPG mechanics silliness, where a battle can have things people people firing machine guns or tossing bombs at someone and it can do less damage than just being punched really hard. Or of course the eventual spell/summon that results in an overly elaborate animation that blows up half the planet... and it just at best bruises the target while also somehow not damaging a single blade of glass in the surrounding environment.
