Thank you for appreciating it! I saw a few bits about the planets aligning but I forgot to look any deeper into it. I almost never end up seeing anything from what astronomy folk get excited over. I have slightly better luck with meteor showers, though "shower" is still a massive exaggeration.
the other page heap https://www.furaffinity.net/view/60066963/ should be looked at before this one! I am glad if the colors seem functional, whatever the case, as sometimes I forget to re-check on components that I initially set up as placeholders, which often includes colors.
I never made it a habit to put a pine cone on every page of the comic strip, though they may be more likely to appear in more recently drawn pages. The prologue section was only partially drawn in 2016 but here I mostly tried to figure out what the 2016 me was planning, without changing or adding needless background elements. There are already enough needless foreground elements!
